In southern New Jersey, just east of Philadelphia, the Camden Waterfront runs along the Delaware River and is home to the Adventure Aquarium and the Walt Whitman House. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor of the hotel- very contemporary. Next visit (and there wil be a next visit) I will request a room not so close to the elevators- Late night revellers could be heard very clearly at 3am. Would have a liked a microwave oven in the room.

"Best around"
A solid pick. Nice indoor pool and gym. Room was clean except for one stain on the carpet near the a/c. Staff was friendly and helpful.

"Great hotel in a kinda weird place"
Got it cheaper than I would have gotten a W, or rather Aloft hotel anywhere else, but with the same amenities, a nice size room, and comfort. Very minor inconveniences were a desk clerk who took five minutes to acknowledge us (she was more focussed on picking up the phone and helping callers) and a extremely heavy shower door. A very good suburban hotel with an urban vibe. The staff accommodated a room switch and treated us well. A number of hotels recently made it clear we were being granted special dispensations for minor requests because we had used an online service rather than booking directly with them. "Weekend stay"
Traveling with a person using a walker this is a great place to stay. The rooms are nice and big. Big enough for a wheelchair if needed. Also having the walk in shower was a very big plus. "Early check in"
It was Sunday and @ 200pm I still had to wait to check in, I guess that regular proceedure because the person wouldn't even look to see if any rooms were ready

I've been to this particular hotel plenty of times. Great vibrant bar scene downstairs. I love its proximity to Philadelphia and Cherry Hill.

I love This place. This was not my first stay with Aloft I have also visited the Philadelphia location. Staff remain courteous, helpful, and extend warm greetings. The rooms are ultra comfortable and booking through Hotel.com is a zip. I booked twenty minutes prior to arrival and easily checked in at front desk. "20 min to philly and south jersery sites"
stayed here when going to philly, parx casino,and great adventure on vacation. hotel was clean and modern. they have a pool table in lobby,and games for the kids in case of bad weather. only problem is needs better food service,
"Great place to stay for business/leisure"
Very modern, nice rooms with comfortable beds and utilities set-up, indoor pool and gym, great location-two malls close by. We stayed there during hurricane Irene and the place was packed with people with dogs but it still worked out fine.

The staff was amazing! Each time you entered the hotel they were available to answer questions or give you assistance to your room. When we arrived at 2am to check in, the staff member at the desk helped us get situated and made sure to align our room to our Starwoods rewards number. The beds were SO comfortable and the rooms themselves were pristinely […] clean. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend others to do the same. "Aloft in Mt Laurel"
This was my first stay in a Aloft and I must say I was very satisfied. The room was bigger than expected and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Towel rack fallin off wall, no privacy curtain or door or toilet area and soap dispenser fell as soon as it was touched.

This is a very new hotel, only built a few years ago. I have been wanting to stay here for quite some time and finally had the chance to this past July 4th weekend. Very clean and well maintained. Noisy one evening with a martial arts event, wedding, lacrosse tournament all on one night... otherwise a pleasant stay and very helpful front desk.

"WOW!"
My wife and I had decided to stay here when we came to visit a family member in the hospital. I must say that it was the right choice! The stress of the drive and the having family in the hospital made it a tough trip. However, staying here really made it much better. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Anything we needed that had or had a solution […] for. The atmosphere is amazing! We even made a few new friends while we were there. "Aloft - Mt. Laurel, NJ"
I stayed at the Aloft in Mt. Laurel, NJ for one night - Friday, May 27, 2011. The hotel was very clean and had a modern feel. The hotel was not very crowded but the room that we were given had a terrible view of the roof top below us. It would have been nice to have been assigned to a room that had a better view since it was not busy. The room itself […] was very clean, the only negative was that the toilet/shower area did not have a door which lacked privacy. There was free internet access in the room as well as an area to print boarding passes in the lobby. There was a very modern gym with quality exercise equipment and there was a very nice indoor pool area. The hotel is located in a heavily traveled area, there are a lot of restaurants nearby and shopping but you need access to a car. The hotel itself was wonderful however was very noisy with nightly events at the bar. On a weekend I could expect and understand but during the week on a business trip I would like a more quiet stay.

"OK, but I prefer the Westin or the Marriott"
Hotel is certainly stylish. Front-desk staff was helpful and friendly at check-in and check-out. Only complaints were (1) housekeeping knocking very loudly on all the doors at 9 a.m. on a holiday, and (2) there is a frosted-glass window between the bathroom and the bedroom, which means that if someone needs to go in the middle of the night, the light […] wakes up the other person. Very progressive hotel with great decor, great open space in lobby and in the court yard. Pool table and lounge area appreciated too. Our room was nicely designed with a king sized bed facing the windows. There was a frosted glass wall in the shower stall that faced the bedroom. Because of this wall, light shone into the shower and the lovely sound […] of water was heard from the bedroom area. Good design! BUT blower for the heater was very loud and could not be adjusted. "Aloft Mt. Laurel - Modern, good for short stays"
The good - We stayed at the hotel because it was reasonably priced and close enough to Philadelphia, about 15 minutes away. The hotel was very clean. As soon as we walked in, the air was very fresh and smelled like citrus. We had read previous reviews about the floor in the elevator but didn't notice what it did until the next morning of our stay - […] it was very amusing. The room was also very clean and modern looking. We loved the large shower and shampoo dispensers which were nicer than getting a tiny bottle and having to share it between two people. The TV was the largest I've seen in any hotel I've ever stayed at. The bed was comfortable, but I wish the pillows would have been larger. We did not use the gym or the pool, but they looked nice. The not so good - I wouldn't recommend the hotel for families with younger children. Other than being close to the city, there's not much to do right around the hotel. There are two different shopping malls about ten minutes away, but other than that, just a few restaurants and gas stations right around the hotel. The hotel is supposed to have their own restaurant as I understood, but it is located down a long hallway and never looked like it was open. There is a small area where you can buy small things to eat, but there aren't too many things to choose from. There were two computers in the lobby provided by the hotel, but when I went on one to see what there was to do around the area for the night, I saw a box in the corner keeping track of the time I was on it with a total money box. I made sure to log out before I was charged anything. I have never been to a hotel where the Internet wasn't free. It is not a hotel to stay at for more than a night or two since there is really nowhere to put your clothing except a small cut out in the wall. Overall, we would stay at this hotel again. We would just do a little more research on the area so we knew what we could do instead of sitting in our room watching TV for 3 hours. Again, i Przeczytaj więcej
