If You are looking for a cheap hotel for a few nights and You have a car or You like walking long distances, it's pretty good option for You. Staff is helpful and rooms are clean. There is a bus to the downtown so it's not so bad location

"The weed smell was everywhere"
We traveled with children and it was not too impressive that from the elevator in the lobby to the second floor where our rooms were, there was a wreaking smell of weed comming from a room and nothing was done. Part of the reason must have been that the hotel was understaffed at all times. What is a hotel selling? I think that would be a good night's sleep. The regular bed was bad enough, but I was on a roll-away that I would not ask my worst enemy to sleep on in my basement! Had to look for the hotel receptionist when trying to check in. A lot of very questionable people hanging out in the lobby. Room was not clean. Stains on the lamp not sure what they were.

"Hotel okay for overnight stay but needs cleaing"
I stayed overnight at this hotel for the location to relatives and for the reasonable price. The front desk folks were friendly but they need to do a better job with housekeeping. The carpet was dingy with cookie crumbs in my room. The bathroom door had dirt spots all over one side of the door and the upholstery on the chairs were stained. "Overall good for the money"
The hotel halls on the third floor needed to be vacumed, my bed was not freshly made, looked like some had been sitting or laying on it. They did not change my sheets after the first night because I left my shirt on it.They didn't offer to let me change the sheets either. Breakfast was great and well kept. "great budget hotel"
I stayed here with my daughter in order to see the sights of Milwaukee for a day. Though some might be put off by the hotel being in a minority neighborhood, we found the area to be convenient and quiet. "You get what you pay for."
Checking in took 40 minutes. I felt bad for the person at the front desk because she was on her own and had to handle the phones, complaints and check ins at the same time. They really need 2 people at the front desk, especially during peak check in times like from 4-6pm. The rooms were dirty, the bathrooms were dirty and bed was uncomfortable. Had to change rooms twice. First room had rags on the counter by the sink and a beverage bottle that was half full. Lights were on in the room. This was at 6PM. Second room the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed, there was some debris on the bed. When I went back to the lobby I asked someone to come back up with me to see what I was talking […] about. They didn't seem very happy about that. They did apologize and took me to the room next door. I said I'd take it, by now I was extremely tired and thought maybe I'd been too fussy. After bringing my stuff in I noticed this room wasn't any better than the last one. In fact the bathroom floor and wall had quite a bit of hair on it behind the door. Also, someone had taken their contacts out and left them on the ledge near the sink which they obviously hadn't cleaned because the faucet had plenty of stains on it. I wouldn't accept a room at this hotel again unless I inspected it first. I also expected the management would have said that the condition of the room was unacceptable and that they would make sure the rooms were cleaned properly. I never heard anything like that. When I came back to my room the next evening I would have thought my room would be spotless. The same hair was there in the bathroom and the contacts (you could see they were dried up) were still in the same place. I ended up throwing them out and cleaning the sink myself. Reserved 2 rooms. One room was good the other room smelled like smoke when you first walked in. This was a nonsmoking hotel.

"Ok hotel"
Fast food close to hotel. Room had odd but not foul smell. Was not quiet all night. Fire alarm went off twice about 11pm. Overall was OK not the greatest.
"BED BUG INFESTATION"
Stay away....bed bug odor (and yes, I know what this smell is as I got hit with it traveling once before) was awful. Needed to get home and wash clothes and spray luggage down with bug spray.

Hotel was very dirty---dust all over the place. Bathrooms weren't clean at all. Breakfast area was very small. Neighborhood wasn't good. Wouldn't recommend the hotel at all...

"Good choice :)"
Overall very nice, clean, friendly staff-- and a great location not too far from Miller Park after Brewers' games, with a Trader Joe's due east for shopping before heading home... perfect for us! Definitely not a luxury hotel, but great value for the price, & met all expectations.
Concerned the last day, Monday 6/20/11-Maid had not provided service to our room, when we came back to the Hotel, the room was not done @ 3:30pm. We had to call the Desk to obtain service. The location is questionable d/t Fri and Sat nites we could hear people talking out in the Parkinglo til 2:00AM; for being onthe 3rd floor this was annoying and made […] for trouble sleeping. I'm wondering-couldn't the night shift do something to accommodate quiet after 11:00pm when curfew is. And any loiters to be removed from the premises???? **Otherwise the food and location were great, but d/t the outside noise; and questionable Maid service te last night our leanings are for the La Quinta on the East Side-Portwashington Rd nearest East Hampton Ave, -they were quiter when we stayed there several tmes. "Avoid at all costs"
This hotel is beyond bad. It's dangerous. Staying here I had drug dealers and hookers nocking on my door all night. I never opened the door because I wasn't expecting anyone but I one look thru the peep hole in the door and I could see what was going on. People kept coming to the neighboring room all night. "Probably OK for one night"
If you just need a cheap place to stay it's probably ok. The hotel is a bit rough. It smells like an old hotel and I kept left overs from the chinese restaurant in my room to act as an air freshener. Bed was ok but both the office chair and the easy chair were pretty uncomfortable. Bathroom was clean and housekeeping did a decent job.

The WiFi didn't work on the router that I was on, but because the other router worked, front desk didn't seem to care. Beds were hard. Hard boiled eggs at breakfast were old.

"There are better places to stay"
Old motel in so-so neighborhood. Room smelled like it was just painted and did have newer carpet but bathroom reeked of smoking (although it was a no-smoking property). Staff very unfriendly. I would not stay here again...there are better places closer to downtown that are better.

I probably would not go back to this location. In making the reservation I thought it was at a location on the NE side of Milwaukee where I wanted to be located. This facility was OK and the staff was very good.

"It Was Okay"
We only did a 1 night stay and the hotel was good for the price we paid. walls where a little thin but it was clean and comfortable. There where a lot of places to eat around the hotel. We felt it was a little out of the way but okay. We will probably stay again some time.
