"Value for the money"
The motel is set back from the highway so you don't get any traffic noise. Fair breakfast. Compared to other alternatives in the area, this is the best value for the money.

2/24 stay: This is my second stay at this particular La Quinta and as before, it's a decent place to stay if you have average standards. The room quality is average - some noticeable wear and tear but nothing really bad (the tub has a few orange mineral stains from hard water, that's the worst of it). We were assign a room on the first floor that had been renovated a couple ago. We had stayed at this hotel 3 yrs ago and we very very happy with our room at that tine too. It is also located near the restaurant that we wanted to go have diner.The staff was very friendly.

"La Quinta in Jackson Tennessee"
The hotel was very unsatisfactory. I have been to many very nice la quintas but this one was truly awful, firealarms went off during the night but were all pranks the bathrooms appeared dirty, there were animals all in the hallways. But the breakfast was great.

Friendly host and staff. I requested a newly rennovated room and I was able to be accommodated! The price was good for this room. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely be staying there again!

My husband stayed at this hotel on a road trip two weeks ago and found out they don't charge a pet deposit, which was a great incentive for us since his return home drive included our two cats. The bed was very comfortable - felt new and it was quite supportive. There were a few signs of age and wear on the fixtures in the room but the linens and sheets […] were in excellent condition and the room was very clean - impressive for the floor that allows pets (travelers with pets stay on the 3rd floor). Breakfast is your basic hotel continental fare. Overall, this LaQuinta is definitely recommendable for local visitors and highway travelers. "Very Disappointing"
The hotel itself is quite rundown. The entrance to hotel is a short road full of potholes and busted up asphalt. The people working there were friendly, however, the condition of the building and the rooms leaves much to be desired. The mattress was very old and uncomfortable. The carpet was old and was disgusting and was dirty and damp and stunk like […] mold. The bathroom door actually fell apart and the bathroom had hair in the tub and all over the floor. The breakfast was a joke and there was overflowing garbage in the eating area. We also noticed in the elevator that the certificate of inspection was a year past due and the elevator operated like it was on its last leg and I took the stairs most times. The place is quite disgusting and is just very rundown with no maintenance. One room next to us has the room number missing and they took a marker and wrote it on the door. Looked like a room I would expect in a third world country... The staff working there are friendly, but VERY lazy. Trash would be siting in the same place for days. "LaQuinta in Jackson TN"
This hotel was in a good location for us. The room had been recently renovated. For the money, it was a good place to stay. No problems with anything for the time we were there. I have been in many hotels and this one is probably in the upper 25% of all of them.
"Older Hotel"
This was an older hotel and needed to be totally redone.
We stayed here for an overnight on a road trip. Not too bad out of the other choices. Main reason was because they accepted animals.

The "smoke - free" room stunk like old cigarette smoke. So much so,that when I showered and got dressed, my daughter asked why I stunk! Very disappointed!

"The LaQuinta Inn in Jackson is a drive-by."
My family was very tired BUT we were very disappointed. A barking dog resulted in changing our rooms to another floor which we had previously been told there was on more rooms available on that floor. Very poor "continencal" breakfast!
Seemed a bit run down for the price. Staff was courteous and room was clean, but hallways and entry had musty smell.

For the price the room was good. The carpet smelled and had spots on it. There was a mop bucket with water in the hallway. The young lady that checked us in was very accommodating and pleasant. I needed a knife to peel my apple at breakfast but the kitchen help was not able to find one for me! I usually don't stay in hotel/motels that room pets but […] this time I made an exception. "Disappointed"
Advertised rate was misleading because automatic add-on fees/charges were 30%. Room was not made up or towels replaced with clean ones between days there. Carpet in room needed a good deep cleaning. I typically get more for less money at motels.

Nice clean room. Easy to get to off I-40. Did not hear any noise off I-40 in room. Strong Internet signal and good breakfast.

We were not pleased with this hotel at all. The pool was dirty and breakfast left much to be desired. Our grandson got sick after eating the breakfast.

breakfast area for continental breakfast was very dissapointing- the fruit basket was kept on top of the trash can, the whole area seemed sticky and fly ridden, and was a generally cramped eating area. Our bathtub had a disgusting brown stain in it- enough said. The room was smaller than what would be expected from this hotel chain and the carpeting […] was dirty in spots. for the price it was excelent, the person making the beed needs to be taught how to make a bed properly is the onlty thing I would change. the pool was dirty and it should have been cleaned or don't have it open.

"Elevator"
We were informed when we checked in that the elevator broke down on 06/04/2011 and would not be fixed until 06/10/2011. As I retired Elevator Mechanic, I have done several repairs of this type. I would normally have the unit up and running within 24 hours. Specially if the facility only had one elevator and had several floors to be serviced. I find […] this totally unexceptable. Rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor are in need of refurbishing. 1st floor rooms are newly refurbished. They moved us to the first floor on our second day there. This is an older LaQuinta, and it shows a lot of use.

"Jackson TN-great hospitality and value"
The front desk employees were extremely kind, accommodating and welcoming. My room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Surrounding the hotel, there are some nice areas to walk and enjoy some fresh air. I really enjoyed staying here and would again.
"Convenient location"
Very close to I40. Not too noisy. The driveway in is a bit bumpy, and it's easy if coming from the south to miss the street that leads to the hotel entrance and wind up on the I40 ramp instead!

The hotel room was small. The sink was outside of the bathroom, which I'm assuming was set up for convenience but was not convenient at all. Since the toilet had no lid and there was no sink counter in the bathroom, there was no surface on which to put clothes while in the shower. There was some sort of stain on my blanket (hopefully food?) but other […] than that, it was fairly clean. The beds were also small. The breakfast was okay; there was a waffle maker that didn't quite cook the waffle all the way through. Coffee was weak. The style of the hotel was definitely outdated, especially the halls. The drive into the hotel felt like I was driving into a back entrance (broken, bumpy pavement, scraggly surroundings). "Room"
Ther room was hot aqnd the airconditioner appears to need service/replacement. I only stayed one night and the room so I didn't bother to report it.

Nice hotel. Room was kind of small compared to others, but was very comfortable. The breakfast left alot to be desired however.

The hotel was fine. Exactly what you would expect for this type of hotel. The continental breakfast was good, but it ends at 9. The beds are a little small. Not the most comfortable for 2 adults, but over all we had a pretty good experience.

Overall I enjoyed this hotel. Its right off the highway and just down the street there are several food options. The hallways and stairs looked well worn, but the room is self was up to date and clean. There was a fridge and microwave in my room. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was the standard continental […] with an extra bonus of a Belgian waffle maker. "Woiuld not choose this hotel for a return trip"
Light fixtures in stairwell hanging, carpet in stairway so dirty it had a black path up the center.plaster falling down, Wall board and wallpaper in rear entryway falling off / bulging. Mold in the bathroom fixtures, Bottom of bathroom door splintering 10" up.

"Older but nice"
This is not one of the La Quinta Inns that have been rennovated lately, so it's an older facility. But they keep it up well, and everyone from check-in to housekeeping was very friendly and accomodating.
"Great room for the money!"
For the price, it was an exceptional room. Keep in mind, this is not the Hyatt Regency, however, for the money, it's a great value and close to whatever one desires. I was barely there for 10 hours and the comfort was exceptional.
"Needs Improvement"
I was highly disappointed in this property as compared to other LaQuinta's I have stayed in. The bathroom needed improvement and the overall decor and appearence of the room wasnot what I expected.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The mattress' were the firmess mattress' I've ever tried to sleep on in my life. If you like firm mattress' you'll love this hotel. In the mornings the noise from the hallway was heard but the room was nice. I just won't stay again due to the mattress was uncomfortable due to my taste.
