We where given a room on 4th floor it was a smoking room. Asked why we didn't get a non-smoking as requested. And said none available, but we could check the smell of another room. It was a little better but still reeked of smoke. So if you don't smoke don't stay on 4th floor. The location was great for shopping. And the breakfast was fine to start […] the day. At check in, there was no one at the front desk. 5 minutes later a girl came from the back office. We went to our room...it was dusty and dated. At check out, waited 10 min for some one to check us out. No one showed. Had to leave a note at the front desk to notify them we were leaving. Absolutely Pathetic!!!

This place is fine for an over-night stay. The place needs work. The double-lock did not work in my room because the door did not fit in the frame. The shower head was not tight on the wall. And due to the odd shape of the room the front sitting area was uncomfortably warm. Electric outlets were well concealed behind sofas and dressers leaving too […] few plugs to work effectively. I was debating on which La Quints to book our stay at and I'm very happy that I booked sawgrass mills. everything was very clean and comfortable. Loved that ikea was across the street!!

Was ok.....was what the saying says, "you get what you pay for". Was close to concert stadium, in okay condition. Had dead cockroach, on wall, near mirror in bathroom. Bed comfortable but small, had room with double bed.

The LaQuinta in Sawgrass was very nice. The lady at check in (Gladys) was very helpful and very friendly too. The breakfast was very nice. It was very close to 895 in Fort Lauderdale.

Our room was dirty with a dead fly in the corner. The TV did not work and when we called repeatedly to the front desk, there was no answer. I went down and he said to go try the remote in the fitness room. Then he told me you have to unplug something, wait 10 mins. then try again. He came up to the room and found it not connected. Friendly staff-Gladys at the front desk-awesome. Loved the location. Close to Bank Atlantic Center and Sawgrass Mall. Slept great, the beds were very comfortable. Just me and my daughter stayed and we felt safe which was important to me.

I really was expecting it to be exactly how it was when I looked at it online . It was completely different from the pictures that were shown, however the hospitality from the employees was great

A convenient place to stay, near to Sawgras Mills and to it´s sorrounding stores and restaurants, is a low budget family hotel, where you get what you pay for. It is the perfect hotel when you are looking for a place to sleep. Breakfast is simple, but gives you a good morning start.

Overall, this location was central to all my business needs and a quick drive for shopping at Sawgrass of Sam's club. I was very surprised to learn after check in that there was no business center available, which was a bit of an inconvenience since I needed to print documents. reserved king bed they gave me room with 2 doubles,no coffee pot in room,last time stayed here much nicer

helpful staff. clean comfortable room. Only complaint - the wi-fi kept dropping me - essentially no internet/e-mail. I travel extensively and know that it was not my computer but service that was the problem.

Other than a small issue with our room keys, our two night stay was great. The hotel is within walking distance of Starbucks and Ikea. It is a five minute drive from the Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall/Theaters and a Walmart. Plenty of places to eat around the Mall.

stayed at this hotel which is a fairly good location for shopping at sawgrass malls. really nothig outstanding about this hotel. Ordinary breakfast, but then if its a 2.5 Star what do i expect

Nothing major wrong with this hotel, but there is another La Quinta across the road from this one - newer, cleaner, better. Make sure you book the one on the South side of 2nd Ave.

During our stay trash container around hotel entrance and rear stay full. Was disappointed because at night when returning into hotel to sleep, we smell smoke coming to our room from hallway. Informed night attendant.However,there was a spoke smell. I do not like the spell of smoke. This hotel is very clean. If you like smoke great hotel.

You can go to Ikea by foot. Close to Walmart, Sams Club and many restaurants surrounding Sawgrass. Very good rooms, confortable and big bed, free internet, excelente shower and bath.

Clean rooms + friendly staff.

Confortable and spacious rooms for a reasonable price. Hotel staff very kind. Great location pretty close to shopping areas like Sawgrass Mills Mall and Sunrise Blvrd and just 15 minutes to Sawgrass Recreational Park - Everglades. I will come back.

Very clean and everyone was soooo nice at this hotel. Had my dog with me and they were so sweet to her. Close to Sawgrass Mall (the best shopping) and 84 (tons of restaurants,, Lefty /84) Will stay again and recommend.

The best desk person ever Gladys. Gave us and everyone who was staying there 110% Breakfast was great, never ran out of anything and was fresh. A++++++ The only thing that could stand a little more care isthe pool. Over flow had lots of palm seeds in it which hurt the flow of water in it.

This was one of the best stays I have had in a long time. The staff very personalble and friendly. House Keeping did a wonderful job on the cleaning of the room. I want to expecially comment on the front desk staff. All were gradicious and everyone had a smile all the time and very courteous. Close to the major highways and shopping and dining. Quick and efficient check in,clean room. Comfortable clean bed and bathroom. Good night's sleep.

Staff was kind and courteous. The hallways of the hotel were somewhat dirty and had a strange smell to them, but the room itself was clean and had no smell. There is another La Quinta right across the street so be sure you're going to the correct one! Overall the stay was great and had no problems.

One day we forgot our expensive cellphone in the hotel and it caused a little bit of anxiety but when we returned to the hotel we realise there was nothing to worry about. The hotel room cleaner had put it safely away under the pillow after she made the bed. The breakfast at La Quinta was nothing to write home about, but its location near the Ikea shop […] made it very convenient for us to walk over. I'm gluten and wheat intollerant anyway so there was little I could eat. My children enjoyed being able to eat the freshly made waffles though. The front desk clerk was too busy with his friend to get me checked-in. The security doors did not work and had to be blocked open. The building looks and feels very old. I will not go back.

We stayed here for three nights before a cruise out of Miami. The room was clean and comfortable especially for the inexpensive price. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and well stocked. My husband and oldest son loved the waffles. It was very close to the outlet mall and restaurants. We would stay here again.

We stayed here one night to break up our trip to the gulf coast from Ft. Lauderdale. It is exactly what you would expect a La Quinta to be like. The continental breakfast was pretty good with one of those delicious belgian waffle makers!

We brought out teen daughter to a Taylor Swift concert. This was perfectly suited for our needs. Gladys, at the front desk during the 3 days we were there was curteous, friendly, smiling and always helpful. She is the one we will remember from this stay. Thank You Gladys!!!
