The stay was great. I read a lot of the reviews before booking the place. Yes there were flyers pushed under the door. But I did not see anyone walking the hallways. They first gave me a room that had a noisy AC but Orlando at the front desk said if for any reason u are not satisfied with the room just let me know. So I did and he changed the room instantly. […] Very nice service. Also someone wrote a post saying Jessica was not helpful but my experience was exact opposite. She was very helpful and accomodating. Only thing I missed was that there was no coffee machine in the lobby where I could get a cup of coffee when I arrived. They had one in the room though. So not a biggie. I will stay there again. AND I did NOT hear any airplanes as people mentioned (airport near by). I was on the second floor. Most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, breakfast was good, room was comfortable. Shuttle to cruise port was convenient.

This hotel was excellent for an overnight stop. The shuttle picked us up on its last run at 11pm, we checked in and walked out the gates to a diner which is open till 3am. Super comfy beds. Breakfast isn't much but who cares. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here overnight because we had an early morning flight. Hotel is very close to airport, however not convient to restaurants.

It is unfair not to be made aware ahead of booking that breakfast, available from 6 am on 6 days of the week, is only available from 7 am on Sundays, as I found out reading the panel above the reception desk. Therefore I left without breakfast as the departure time of my flight did not allow.

This was booked as a layover for our cruise. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The room was decent although it showed signs of age and there was very little noise even though we were close to the airport. The bed was very comfortable. My one gripe would be the smoke smell. Absolutely horrid place to stay! Hotel Management and Jessica (Front Desk) are very sneaky and misleading. Lobby was filthy, hotel location is one of the crappiest I've ever seen!

Stayed here after flying into Miami International Airport. The place fells old. Room was ok for one night but I would stay right next door at the Embasey suites

Hotel is nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. I had an overnight layover at MIA and I would stay here again for that purpose. Another plus is a restaurant next door, serving food until 2 AM, which is great if you arrive late.

I had been only one night but I liked. My room was a little bit smelly but in general was OK. The shuttle service to and from the airport the best. I arrived early, they kept my baggage in deposit until the registration time.

We stayed one night to catch our cruise out the next day, it was clean and sufficient.

Excellent location for convenience to airport. Good continental breakfast, good pool area.

The location was convenient for the purpose needed (travel being rerouted), and although it was only a one night stay, was very pleased overall with La Quinta Inn & Suites. The only negative was the location of my room which seemed to be directly under a flight path of planes taking off and landing. But thoroughly pleased overall.

My wife and I was on our way to another vaction spot . It rain for a bit the dinner was nice at the restraut that was near by. It the stay nice for the time

good way to connect to cruise lines. very busy in am. We took the airport shuttle to the airport to eat at Chiles, which had very good food. Then caught the shuttle back. This is necessary because Benningons next door is only good for about one meal. If staying for more than a night maybe two I would look for a quiter place.

Hotel stay was just a place to stay after flying in before taking a cruise. We stayed because the shuttle from airport and to cruise port was free. Hotel was sub par at beat. Very noisy from planes. Can't beat the price, but I probably won't stay again.

Our overnight stay at the La Quinta Inn & Suites, Miami Airport East was extremely comfortable and convenient for our early flight out the next morning. The hotel shuttle ran every half hour and was helpful in getting to and from the airport and the restaurant nearby adequately met our needs for dinner.

Poor Service checking into the hotel. There was only one person to answer incoming calls, plus check out staff and check in staff. Had to wait 3 hrs to get a room.

The sweet young lady at the desk at check in time took one look at our tired faces and the luggage that we were traveling with, ready for a trip back home to South America, and said "You need a 1st floor room don´t you?" NICE!!! Room was comfortable, bed was great.

It is not a five star luxury hotel. It is a LaQuinta. I hate it when people give poor reviews for things they aren't paying for. This is a really nice low cost hotel. It is near the airport not the beach, so you will save a lot of money on the room compared to other Miami spots. It offers a decent breakfast for free...again, an extra cost at many places. […] It also offered transportation to the port...another cost saver. Desk clerks were nice, breakfast was passable, but a lot of whacky people in the lobby in their jammies wandering around. Everything is old and needs replacing. Two ice machines were out of order. Just go to sleep and get it over with.

It was 9:05 am when we arrived for breakfast, all the food was gone and they said it quites promptly at 9 am. The lobby was so full you couldn't get near it and then they come in and took all the food out. Closes too early for travelers.

staff are very pleasant. hotel however is out of the way with nothing around it. not even a convenience store! there is one restaurant near. Bennigans....it was not great.....and lousy service....and dirty. if you need a cheap hotel and just need to sleep, this place is perfect. very comfy beds! Clean rooms and showers. Doing the right thing.

We stayed in this hotel for one night, parking and breakfast all included, quiet, clean room. Building is little bit old, but over all is good for the price.

This hotel is near the airport has a shuttle and there is a restaurant within walking distance. All these things are important when in - transit. The staff was very nice. Breakfast selections could be improved.

We stayed one night per-cruise. Check-in was terrific. Hotel staff was very friendly. Free breakfast was very filling, fresh made waffles a big plus. Free shuttle to cruise ship was quick and driver was very friendly and helpful. Great Stay !!!

Conveniently located, very close to MIA airport. Maybe too small room for breakfast, but it's not a big problem.

We stayed at this hotel to visit with friends who were cruising out of the Port of Miami the next day. Check-in was quick, and upon request, they extended our check-out to 1pm. Unfortunately, there was no in-room refrigerator or microwave for our leftover dinner. Also, the air-conditioner control panel wouldn't work and was stuck on cold. The weather […] that night was 53 degrees which is cold for Miami. So we had to pull the plug to shut the unit off. The free breakfast was good, but the line to the waffle maker was long. Benningans Restaurant is next door for food and drinks, and there are some fast food spots in walking distance. You will hear planes landing and taking off since this hotel is across from the airport. So if that bothers you, don't stay here. The breakfast was not very exciting, but we were comfortable and the shuttle was on time. jge

We stayed at this hotel ONLY because of the free shuttle to the cruise ships. What we were not told, is that the shuttle leaves hourly, and eservations are only made upon your arrival to the hotel on a first come first served basis. Our flight did not get us to the hotel until 10 pm, and by this time, the shuttles were all filled up, and we had to spend […] $40 to take a private shuttle. We arrived at the airport, located the shuttle. It runs every 30 mins. Trip to hotel:easy. There was a resturant within walking distance. Room clean, internet was easy to get on with my Blackberry. There was also a PC in the lobby to use. Staff was friendly. Breakfast good. Great Value for the $.
