Dobry dojazd do Midtown, na piechotę do Chinatown, Downtwn i innych dzielnic na Dolnym Manhattanie. Metrem można dotrzeć na lotnisko JFK (trzeba się przesiąść w Airtrain). Pokój standardowy jest bardzo mały, lecz czysty.

"30 minute check in / 30 minute wait for elevators"
Don't be in a hurry if you stay at the Milford - nobody else will be. You'll wait 20 - 30 minutes for an elevator each time you want to go to your room. There's a huge amount of construction occurring at the hotel, so hopefully it gets better once that's complete. This is a wonderful hotel, located right in the midst of the theatre district. They are in the middle of a major renovation project that will turn the 1920-era property into a modern, classy 21st century hotel. "I moved to another hotel."
It was reported to be 'under renovation' in the exterior and lobby areas. The whole block was a construction site. The key to my confirmed queen bed room didn't work so I was moved to another room with doubles. The room was small but cleverly done 'modern' except for the entry hallway and door which hadn't been touched and looked like they had been […] through wars. The 'view' out the window was of a lightwell with a huge metal duct running in front of my window. Elevator from the upstairs lobby to the street was broken and the lobby areas were very chaotic. We have used the Milford many times over our visits to New York however on this occasion the Milford was a discrace we arrived to a building site. the hotel was advertised as newly renovated rooms!! the checkin area is on 2nd floor no lifts to take us or our cases and no offer of help. I actually enjoyed the room. The hotel itself was under renovation, and not really a joy to walk through. The lobby was dismantled, no amenities, portly service, and generally just a bit of a gong show. The room, however small, was good. The hotel is under renovation, so elevator wait times and flow of people in the lobby were negatively impacted, but that said, the staff did a very good job of helping and directing people to minimize the issue as best they could. Location is fantastic, particularly if you are going to spend the majority of your time between 40th-60th street. Subway […] stops are convenient too. "Excellent location"

"Couldn't ask for a better location"
The hotel was in the midst of a lobby renovation, and so all was very chaotic and crowded downstairs. However, the room was fine and the bed was very comfortable. Even the horns and sirens became white noise. With so many people staying in the hotel, I was surprised by how quiet the halls were. The location is not to be beat - every conceivable train […] is either right across the street or just a few blocks away. And there are so many excellent restaurants to choose from. They should have trottled back significantly on the number of guests they tried to accommodate given the work they are doing on the building. I stayed in the single queen room, and it was smaller than the size of the room aboard a cruise ship. But in the end, it's very much worth it. "What a mess"
The hotel is being remodelled and they really should pay people to stay there. I had a remodelled room and it and the bathroom were quite nice. However, there were no services available in the hotel and a temporary entrance. Since the temporary entrance is on the ground floor while the non-existent lobby was one floor up, it was difficult and sometimes […] impossible to get an elevator which mostly seem to end at the lobby level. In leaving I had to carry my suitcase down a flight of stairs as there were no staff available to help. Checking in and trying to check bag were very slow and confusing. "Don't Stay Here until Renovations are Done!"
Hotel is undergoing major renovations right now. Elevator access is limited; check in/check out is chaos as part of the lobby area is closed off. Guest luggage is piled ceiling high in the lobby. Room is adequate in size with excellent heating/cooling system but the bathroom is AWFUL. There is no hook for towels/bathrobes or shelf to place toiletries […] on, and the sliding door to the bathroom is extremely difficult to close. The only "dresser" in the room is 3 separate drawers placed at floor level. The hallways are poorly lit. There is absolutely NO literature in the room regarding the hotel or surroundings. Housekeeping barged into our room without knocking on our first day of stay. Restaurant was closed due to renovations, though this was not indicated at the time of our reservation. "Under construction"
Hotel was under construction; we knew this going in, but the elevator situation was terrible. No real lobby due to construction (one pair of cushy chairs and a couch upstairs, I think there were 2 couches downstairs). The hotel's location is incredible -- right next to many theaters and a block from Times Sq. Rooms were small - mine was 10 feet wide. […] With 6 feet for the bed and about 2 feet for the dresser/desk, what was left was a 2 foot wide corridor. The path was so small that they couldn't even fit a proper chair -- they needed a footstool as a chair so it would slide under the desk. Few outlets in the room (they should put a power strip in each room -- until then, bring your own). Thin walls -- I could hear the TV show in the room next door, so I cranked up the fan on the wall A/C unit. At least my A/C worked -- those of my companions didn't.
