"Comfortable Business Hotel"
What a great experience. The hotel was a throw back to what great hotels used to be, clean, friendly and very convenient. We took a stroll of less than a mile and came across one of the greatest stores I've ever visited in a Mall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chappel Hill.

Tacky place with cheap Italian decorative art all over the place. Drunk individual banging on the door at 3:00 AM. I'm not sure how this place was given a 4 star rating.
"Fantastic Anniversary Weekend"
Beautiful upscale accommodations, very close to UNC. The service was top notch and even the bathroom was luxurious. Staff was courteous and even though the hotel was full we didn't notice the noise from rooms below or next to us. Will definitely stay here again!

The Siena is one of our favorite hotels -- from soup to nuts one of the most satisfying hotel experiences in the world. We would not stay anywhere else if this was one of the choices, and we have stayed here art least 10 times.

"The Siena Hotel is Fabulous!"
Great amenities and service - free shuttle to downtown Chapel Hill, which is incredibly convenient. Wonderful on-premise restaurant, Il Palio, which is not to be missed. Room was spacious, well-appointed, clean and comfy. The bed was very comfortable and the noise level was minimal. Loved it!

This is a lovely property; our room was extremely spacious and restful. Definitely a cut above your average "chain" hotel!

The hotel was nice -- the only draw back was the cleaning staff. They started cleaning pretty early on a Sunday morning and were very noisy -- made it hard to sleep through.

We normally stay at a local loft and have enjoyed it very much. Our stay at the Siena was very nice, we had breakfast in the morning and I never imagined writing a review about Oatmeal and Granola! But I have to. It was the best oatmeal I have ever had in my life and I thought my oatmeal was very good. The vanilla bean oatmeal was fantastic I would […] love to have the recipe and the granola was as well. I was thrilled to eat oatmeal, granola, Greek yogurt and honey. "best place to stay in chapel hill"
my hubs and i both went to grad and undergrad at unc - this is our favorite place to stay when we go back. lovely rooms, BIG, and you can walk to a lot of shops. we love it!
"Thanksgiving in Chapel Hill"
Loved the decor of this hotel including the throne at check-in. Very Tuscan feeling overall. Breakfast was delicious, although their version of French toast is more like a cake -- very yummy either way. Very close to the downtown shops, Starbucks, Children's Museum, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaints: some of the rugs seem old / rolled […] in middle and odd smell (glue?) in chest drawers where the extra pillows were stored. (Pillows not the best either.) We really enjoyed the hotel, great location after visiting the beautiful Chapel Hill campus. The only one disappointment was the rooms windows needed cleaning but everything else was superb, accomadations, staff, food and drinks.

Nice neighborhood but difficult to locate entrance of hotel. Great price for a luxury hotel. I can only assume elevators were not working due to renovations. Had to use freight elevator in kitchen to access upper floors.
Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We ate at the restaurant downstairs and it was delicious! I would highly recommend this hotel to friends.

Excellent service. Staff very professional , courteous, and helpful. Hotel is going through renovations, and the room we had was one that had been completed. It was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was beautiful, clean and very spacious Excellent value.

It was my birthday and my wife ordered my favorite breakfast through room service: eggs benedict and it was horrendous. Yokes were hard as bricks, ham was way too salty, toast was soggy and cold. Terrible. Other than that the hotel itself was very nice with large rooms and proper amenities with a friendly and helpful staff. We were moving my daughter […] for her Freshman year at UNC and expect to be spending a great deal of time in Chapel Hill over the coming years, this is on our list of places to stay, but will certainly be avoiding the eggs benedict! What a pleasant surprise! Our room was beautiful and the service was excellent. It was a great value for such a nice hotel.

Overall, hotel was fine for a few days. The furniture in the room was old and stained. WE had four people staying in the room and there were three towels. The a/c was antiquated and was either really cold or hot!! Our phone didn't work, so I had to walk to the front desk at 5a.m. to ask for some towels and let them know the phone was broken. I was told […] I "probably wasn't using the phone correctly". Hmmm, I do have a Master's degree and am pretty proficient with the phone, so was a little irritated with that remark. Except for the party in the hall outside our room from 1am to 4am,had to call the front desk to tell the people to be quiet, our stay way very nice. Large room with all the amenities. We would stay there again.

I can't think of a hotel I have enjoyed more than this one. It is beautiful, convenient, reasonably priced, and has a great staff.
"Excellent Hotel but with one caveat."
The room had an obvious scented spray applied to the room. This is not objectionable to many but it certainly was to my wife who is extremely sensitive to odors. Please offer the option of "to spray or not to spray". This option would be greatly appreciated by some.
