Responsive service, good location, comfortable, nice restaurant in hotel

This hotel is situated very conveniently for the city centre and within easy reach of everything you need. It isn't really a hotel, more a collection of individual units so more suited to a family stay than a business trip. Our room was cleaned rather haphazardly, especially the bathroom, and we were left to empty and fill the dishwasher so finding […] clean cups in the morning was a challenge. The room layout was slightly odd as it was a large empty space with a small bed. Breakfast is a basket of bread, jam and pastries so a little heavy and we were quickly overrun with uneaten pots of jam, cartons of milk etc. as no thought went in to how much you had consumed the day before. Close to all the main shopping areas, the station and tram stops. We had a warm welcome and were generally satisfied with the hotel amenities and room service. It would be better if a spa could be installed near the indoor pool but the water was warm, the sauna was working and the change rooms clean. The breakfast basket could do with a less regimented […] approach as we were soon swamped with uneaten pots of jam and cartons of milk as more arrived every day. Well situated hotel with big, comfortable room (upgraded to a suite).

GREAT STAY. Rooms very comfortable and plenty of room for family of 5. Loation was very convenient to CBD.

Handy for a couple of nights stay - kitchenette very basic, was disappointing not to have grill/oven facilities. Prices of laundry powder, bottled water,etc very steep. Restaurant next door (QSR) great for a cheeky drink or two and for free wifi.

Stayed in a spacious 2 bed 2 bath appartment which was convenient and easy access for all tourist attractions. Very good restaurant on the premises which I would recommend. Would definitely return in future if I was in Oz.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment for 3 nights in March. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I stayed here early March 2012 and could not fault it in any way. Staff were great, location was perfect and close to everything (sights, bars, restaurants etc). Also good value for money, would definitely stay again.

The staff could not do enough for us, the room was fabulous, it was close to everything and the restaurant food was to die for!!! They made our girls weekend super special thank you so so much! We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay...plenty of space, it's got everrything you need, and it's smack in the middle of the business district with great food all around. Can't ask for better.

The convenience of this hotel to the centre of the CBD was a huge help to someone currently reliant on walking sticks. Hotel staff were very helpful and the restaurant on the adjoining ground floor was very good. Hardware Lane is only a short distance away with fantastic atmosphere for evening dining. I would definitely return here.

the cleanest hotel i have ever stayed in and i have been in a lot ,bed uncomfortable to hard, overall a fantastic place to stay hope to see you next year

Enjoyable stay during a busy time in Melbourne. Staff were friendly and efficient adding to the experience. Close proximity to lots of Mebourne's attractions.

Great location = easy walking to China Town, shopping and many sights.

Location is great, very central to everything and you can even walk to Southbank comfortably. The appartment was well equipped and very comfortable and we were very happy with it.

Great location, friendly and informative staff, good restaurant. Quiet room (didn't face Queen st but one of the side streets). Can't wait to good back!

The facilities were nice, but the water went everywhere in the shower. Some times the security card didnt work in the lift so had to take the stairs - that was a pain.

My wife and I spent 9 nights in a one bedroom apt. High floor - great view. Room was spacious and stylish, housekeeping was perfect, reception staff knowledgable and very helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect and we were able to walk everywhere or hop on and off the trams. Tons of restaurants close by. Only ate-in one night and ordered room-service […] meal from restaurant downstairs - perfect. One of the few times for us that the website description and photos totally matched reality. Great stay. Fabulous service and magnificant city view from the 16th floor. Loved it and would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay there very much. Coming from the Outback and a few weeks of staying at regular hotels the kitchen and laundry were a nice welcome! We were able to take home 2 suitcases full of clean clothes and we saved a lot of money by buying food at the local Woolworths and cooking for ourselves most nights and breakfasts. The furniture was modern […] but the bed slightly hard. Its a few blocks walk to the center of town so bring good walking shoes. The only complaint was maybe that the pool was quite small and the floor it was on had a lot of meeting rooms so it was somewhat embarrassing to be wandering around in a towel on that level. Whilst basic and comfortable does not live up to it's name. Street noise quite audible as were voices of other guests. Packaged breakfast in room was ok, but prefer to dine in a restaurant when on holiday. Overall the stay had advantages of being central and convenient, but otherwise just ok. Disappointed when we entered the apartment as we had booked an apartment with twin beds ( I had rung three times to ensure this was covered), upon arriving I asked the reception assistant if we had twin beds she assured us we had, when we entered the room it was a king bed arrangement. I called down to reception and she said that housekeeping must have […] missed it on their instruction sheet. She arranged for it to be changed. Housekeeping had also missed finding a childs toy when we pulled the curtain back there it was. We would have to question the vacuuming along with dirty white( like yogurt) smeared finger marks all over the glass coffee table. Would suggest a review of house keeping. Przeczytaj więcej

Spent two nights in this hotel in a studio room. It is very well located and close to all the attractions Melbourne has to offer. We booked with breakfast included but this was only a breakfast basket which was delivered to your room. So would suggest don't do the breakfast package. Staff were very helpful and rooms very good.

This was our families first stay and we were all very impressed. The room was great - really spacious and beautifully presented. We also enjoyed a great breakfast in the cafe downstairs the next morning.We will definately be back.

Great location. Studio room quite small but I suppose this is the norm for hotels in the middle of the city. Very courteous and friendly staff. Not a grand hotel but comfortable.

The one bedroom apartment was very comfortable and clean. Only complaint was that although there was a TV in the bedroom, we couldn't access in-house movies from this TV so had to watch movies in the lounge area. It would also have been nice if there were weekend packages that included breakfast. However, staff were friendly and accommodating.

good location for accessing markets, cbd, museum - studio room compact but with everything needed for a weekend stay. Some staff seemed unfamiliar with local knowledge.

Very friendly staff, comfy room and well serviced. The only downside was that the pillows were not very comfortable and there were no bath robes so nothing really to complain about . Location is great for that part of Melbourne and we would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment right in the heart of Melbourne. The room was well appointed including a kitchenette, comfortable lounge and large plasma TV. With a full day tram pass you can travel anywhere in the Melbourne CBD very easily. From Docklands and Harbourside to the Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne has it all.

The hotel was great! I would recommend it to anyone. All of the Travelodge/Vibe/Medina hotels in Australia are reasonably priced, centrally located, clean, and nice. I would recommend them to anyone. If you are traveling to Australia check out any of the the Toga Group hotels.

Staff were professional and friendly. Would stay here again as the rooms are spacious, well cleaned and in a great convenient location. Every day our beds were made, new towels provided and our used kitchenware washed in the dishwasher. it was more service than I expected for an apartment hotel. Very close to transport (trams). If you're looking for something close to the main city centre that's not too far away from the station which takes you to the airport, or to the casino, I'd recommend staying here.
