This is a really sweet hotel with plenty of charm and the location is fabulous for The Latin Quarter, Louvre and everything on the river. The only problems we had were the shower (the head didn't stay still and we had to hold it in the end) and the noise level (it's a vibrant part of town and we could hear people having fun... and windows smashing late […] into the night). The hotel is perfect to a couple, but for three is bad. The localization is perfect, near to the Louvre, cafes, metro, neighborhood is good. Everthing was wonderfull. The room is clean but we can not walk inside it. In the bathroom you can not move, if you are more chubby,you could not into it, had not bathtub, there is a square less than half meter […] square, and if you drop the soap,you had to leave to catch it. I asked at reception if all rooms were the same he said that mine was bigger, but the bathroom was smaller. Near the hotel has several places for you to take breakfast, lunch or dinner. Pictures and description on Hotel.com is incorrect. This is nothing else then a standard french hotel in very nice surroundings. High level of service. Nothing for the traveler who wants a "normal" sized room and sound profing. No bottle opener, no coffee and no cabel tv.

The service was great, people could speak English and were very helpful and nice. Our room was small, but very quaint and comfortable and clean. The shower pressure is amazing, nothing I can complain about in regards to the bathroom. The beds are a bit stiff, but I like firm mattresses so this was okay for me. The windows can open to let fresh air into […] the room. Not only was the room comfortable and a place I enjoyed coming back to each night, but the location of the hotel was very convenient! You are within a few minutes walking distance of both the Louvre and Notre Dame. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, including lots of vegetarian/vegan places (which is great for us because we're vegans). I would DEFINITELY stay here again the next time I come to Paris! Nice hotel for Paris, I guess. But, like everywhere in Paris, rooms seems pretty small.

The individual rooms, albeit rather small, are perfectly well equipped. Except for its small size, the hotel meets many 4 star requirements.

Dauphine Ste Germain Hotel is located in the heart of the Left Bank with all of the action, galleries, restaurants, jazz clubs, and the like. The hotel is withing walking distance of the Louvre, Notre Dame, L'Orangerie, and the Metro. The concierge at the hotel was most helpful and assisted in getting us a mirror for our room. Excellent hotel in a bustling area of Paris in walking distance to Louvre,Notre Dame,Musee d'Orsay etc. Fantastic staff. Hotel breakfast was the best in the area. Highly recommended.

This three star hotel is distinguished by it scharm, helpful staff and proximity to great restaurants and Latin Quarter/St. Germain des Pres sites. We greatly enjoyed our three nights there.

This was a lovely little hotel in the heart of the 6th arrondissement. The location couldn't have been better - fabulous cafes and shops just around the corner, a short stroll to the Seine and Notre Dame - fantastic. So close in fact we could see Notre Dame from our window and were awakened by its bells. We loved the location of the hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating for all aspects of our stay. The room was cozy and bright. It was easy access to the Metro.

Stayed at the Dauphine St. Germain for five days and returned a week later. Staff was courteous and helpful. They speak English. The sleeping rooms were small but the bathrooms were large. The rooms were very clean. The location is great, just a couple short blocks off the Seine River. I would consider it again.

This hotel was in an amazing part of town. There were places to eat everywhere and was walking distance to all the major attractions. Neighborhood was always bustling with people which made it feel like a safe neighborhood to walk to late at night. The receptionist was friendly and accomodating. She checked in with us each time we passed by to make […] sure that our room was comfortable and if we needed anything else. The only down-side of the hotel was that our room was extremely small. Trying to fit to large suitcases on the floor to rummage through them was impossible which made getting ready difficult. Other than that, this hotel was amazing and definitely worth booking. The location in the Latin quarter on the left bank of the sane was excellent. The hotel room was very small along with the bed. The room was facing the road and didn't have double glazing which led to a major noise problem particulary around midnight. But paris is a wonderful city with a lot to offer travellers from around the world.

i asked if they had an updated room I could move to because my bed was very old and worn. They indictaed I was in the updtaed room already. i would hate to see the old ones.

Dauphine Saint Germain Hotel / Paris This hotel was a great experience! Rooms are not big but very clean, comfortable bed. I stayed there for 3 nights and it was always very quiet and even though its in the very city center you cannot hear any traffic noise. Its right by the "Seine" and the famous brigde "Pont neuf". Within 5-10 min. walking distance […] you can reach the "Notre Dame" and "Hotel de Ville"! Very pretty at nighttime! Metro station is just around the corner. The staff was always very friendly. One of the best hotels experiences I have ever had. The Hotel Dauphine is a delight. The rooms were charming, the bathrooms spacious, the staff extra nice and very helpful and the location could not be better. Just a lovely place and a lovely memory. It made our trip to Paris romantic and memorable.

The staff is wonderful and the hotel couldn't be more well located. The rooms although small are quite comfortable. Be careful to ask for a quiet room as the Irish pub 2 doors down is very noisy. I was awakened more than once at 4:30 in the morning with yelling in the street as people left the pub. It is a very young boisterous crowd.

The Hotel Dauphine is a great value for the best location for a tourist (in my opinion). The concierge was very friendly and helpful (made several dinner reservations suggestions/reservations for us, helped us with transport to airport, friendly, etc) and the cleaning staff never bothered us in the morning and our room was always spotless by the time […] we came back in the afternoon. The room was a bit small, but we expected that for the price. In any case, we weren't spending much time in the room. Beds are comfortable, windows open for fresh air. Building is 400 years old...cool. Rewired and relatively modern, but sized by yester-year standards. A good value for France. 45 min brisk walk to Eiffel. Cheaper Left Bank and would return here again with lesser expectations. We stayed in this hotel for three nights and cannot speak highly enough of the place. A lot of the praise should go to the female concierge who was very helpful and made the stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are relatively small, but as to be expected in Paris. The rooms were quite, even on the first floor where we were staying, there was free […] wifi in the rooms. We didn't get breakfast in the hotel, as there are tons of really nice cafe's, restaurants and bread shops close by. The hotel is just a short walk from notre dame RER station and St Michele Metro. The location for Dauphine St. Germain is just perfect as you are just across the river in the left bank and in the middle of a neighborhood with tons of restaurants, shops and nightlife. The hotel itself was great - our room was well air-conditioned (we went in late August), clean and nice. Not a ton of space but I didn't expect much. The hotel is a […] boutique so it never felt crowded and the concierge always had time to help you figure out restaurants or plan an itinerary. Jean, in particular, was very nice. They also have a computer with internet you can use for free that can be very helpful to book reservations for different parts of your trip (museum tickets, train tickets, etc). Close to everything you want. Restaurants, museums, churches, metro, the Seine, etc. Also free computer access.

We went to paris with friends, our room was in the attic, no view, dirty ceiling and broken loo, their room was much better!, We were moved, once someone else had checked out. Staff very nice but wouldn't go back

Have visited Paris a number of times. This is the best value I have found. The people at the desk were excellent.They directed me to a nearby agency to get a TGV ticket to Burgundy,stored my extra bag while I was gone and greeted me warmly when I returned a week later. For me there is no better location in Paris--the Louvre is just across the river […] and the livliest part of the Boulevard St.Germaine is two blocks in the other direction. The rooms are small(Paris,remember?)and there is only a small bar,but I found the nearby Cafe Maubillon to be a fitting substitute. We loved the neighborhood and the location of the hotel in reference to shops, cafes, sites and public transportation.

We used this hotel whilst on a 3 day break to Paris. As we didn't have a lot of time we wanted somewhere with go access to all the attractions. This hotel does exaclty this, everywhere is within walking distance. We didn't have to use the metro at all. On top of this the room although very small was spotless and the staff extremely friendly. Decor […] is stightly dated and there was no tea/coffe making facilities in our room which we would have preferred over the minibar. geweldig locatie. Wat ongeinteresseerde ontvangst, zoals dat hoort in Parijs. Slecht werkend internet. Grote lekkage op kamer. Ronduit onbeschofte bediening bij duur, maar overigens zeer matig ontbijt: neem geen ontbijt in dit hotel

além de bastante aconchegante, o hotel está muito bem situado!

Lyhyen matkan yöpymishotelliksi hyvä. Sijainti erinomainen. Huone oli juuri siivottu, kun saavuimme, joten huoneessa haisi voimakas pesuaineen haju. Ei tuntunut mukavalta mutta onneksi hälveni nopeasti. Aamupala olematon mutta muualla syödessä ei saanut sen parempaakaan.

Fantastiskt läge, hela innerstaden inom promenadavstånd. Mysiga kvarter med mycket uteserveringar även på kvällen. Vänlig personal. Små rum.
