if you are or you are able to get familiar with metro service the locale is great.

To give this hope a 3 stars, its a shame! A maid's room on the 5th floor, called a deluxe room, its not right. I am french originally and yes in France hotel rooms are smaller! this is unacceptable to rate this hotel as a 3stars. When 2 people open their suitcases, they cannot move in the room, we literally left the room once we checked in, came back […] to sleep and checked out. We stayed at this hotel last week and it was comfortable and a few minutes walk from the metro station. The room is very small and the hotel is out dated, but it seems like in Paris most hotels have small rooms. The hotel offered free Wi-Fi but it did not work most of the time we were there, and when it did it was very slow. The bathroom and shower […] are remodeled but the room itself is way old. Overall, my stay was good. It's a nice boutique hotel near Notre Dame. It also has amazingly good wi-fi which is surprising given its boutique nature. Overall, the service is very good. However, there was one gentleman that works on Sunday who I found unhelpful and unresponsive. Loved the location. Room was very very small. Breakfast was good. staff was helpful. would recommend this hotel

Loved it. It was convenient, lovely and very French. Very small shower, but that's quite standard for Paris. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

This hotel offered much more that we expected. It's an easy walk to the Louvre & Notre Dame & an easy metro ride to everything else. With the low price, we were expecting a very basic place, but this was really quite elegant. It had everything we needed, even airconditioning (not standard in Europe). Tourist hotel, clean and convenient. We paid for a room for 3 people and were given a room for 2 people with a cot squished in. When we asked about a room suited for 3 people we were told that this is Paris and we should not expect that. This being the case I don't think they should advertise rooms for 3 people and charge extra! Elevator only suited […] to 1 person with luggage. Breakfast overpriced - better to get something around the corner for better quality and experience. Fridge in room was a nice touch but there are no cups or kettle provided in the room. Location is convenient if you want to stay in the St.Germain area. The attitude of staff and hotel are that they are there for tourists and we should be grateful and pay whatever they ask (note that this was the only time I encountered the famed arrogance of the French in my 2.5 week stay in France!). If you accept the hotel for what it is as a clean place to sleep conveniently located then no issues. If you want more then look elsewhere (recommend booking an apartment if you stay over 4 nights). This is a small hotel... small rooms, and even smaller bathrooms. We were told to expect that in Paris, but the configuration of the bathroom was such that a bigger person could easily get stuck on the toilet!! I almost did! We had booked a room with king size bed & an extra bed for 2 adults & a teen. We were given a queen bed & an extra bed only long […] enough for a child. There was only enough space to walk sideways around the bed. I did ask to look at a larger room but the extra cost did not seem worthwhile given that we spent very little time in the room. The cleaning left a lot to be desired. A few curtain hooks had come off & it remained like that for the 3 nights we were there! I didnt bother to make a big fuss because I just couldn't be bothered with any unpleasantness. we were in paris to have a good time. On the plus side, the bathroom was almost brand new & had a lovely jacuzzi tub. The lack of a soap dish was, however, surprising! The location is amazing. The road is quiet & opposite the medical university. Walking distance from the Latin quarter, Notre Dame, Saint Chappelle, Louvre, coffee shops, restaurants, supermarket, an amazing deli (l'epicerie), the fancy shopping street Blvd St Germaine, as well as the more high-street shops on Rue de Rennes, as well as 2 of the major metro lines that connect to the shopping areas & 2 stations - Gare de l'est & Gare St Lazare. The main lady at reception and the male night receptionist were very helpful and kind. The assisstants, however, did not bother to check their facts - when asked if the Laduree shop was open that day, they blithely said no, without checking, when in fact, it was open. The Academie Hotel couldn't better for nearness to the Lourve and the Musee Dorsay and river side walks. The staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere restful, and a walk around the block reveals several nice restaraunts.

Mycket trevligt och genuint hotell med bra standard. När vi checkade in fick vi reda på att vi blivit uppgraderade till deluxe, så jag vet inte hur standardrummen ser ut men vårt var supermysigt! Inte lyx men bjälkar i taket, riktigt duntäcke vilket inte alls är givet i frankrike, badkar och fransk balkong. Trevlig personal och jättebra läge mitt i […] eleganta Saint Germain, med bra shopping och trevliga restauranger. hotel with great location. but rooms were extremelly small - when paying this kind of money i expect to have a chair and a desk.

Minimala rum men bra läge.

Små men mycket trevliga & mysiga rum, jättesköna sänger o kuddar, kalasläge, mycket trevlig personal. Mycket prisvärt!

Das Academie Saint Germain ist empfehlenswert. Zimmer neu gestaltet incl. Bad. Doppelfenster verhindern Straßenlärm. Frühstück und Service gut. Lage optimal für Shopping und Restaurantbesuche u.s.w. Metro in unmittelbarer Nähe.Bei meinem nächsten Paris Besuch werde ich das Hotel wieder buchen. Guter Tipp von Pariser Freunden.

veldig koselig hotell som lå veldig bra til, med gangavstand til louvre. veldig trange rom.. og dusjen var så liten at man nesten ikke snu seg i den engang (og jeg er ikke stor engang!). veldig lytt, men vi hadde heldigvis rolige naboer. Men jeg ville bodd der igjen. man skal ikke være så mye på rommet uansett =) koselig og behjelpelig betjening.

Ett litet hotell med atmosfär och omtanke lokaliserat i attraktiva kvarter med stort high class utbud. Gångavstånd (inom 30 minuter) till mycket av centrala Paris

Vi havde to overnatninger. Efter første nat havde vi ikke koldt vand i bruser/badekar. Det lykkedes ikke hotellet at bringe det i orden, mens vi var der. Vi var sammen med to andre familier og den ene familie havde heller ingen koldt vand. De blev tilbudt suiten, da de skulle være der i flere dage. Vi opnåede en discount for manglende komfort.

Store, svale rom med nyoppussede bad - perfekt for rekreasjon mellom utfluktene i Paris.
