Clean and quiet. Only complaint was no luggage carts and WiFi signal was very poor. Nice pool for kids.

The bed was SO UNCOMFORTABLE. The bottom sheet and mattress pad kept slipping off the corners at the head of the bed. Horrible night's rest!! Reported it to the desk clerk. Someone else we met in the breakfast nook reported the same occurrence. Won't stay there again.

The stay was nice. Beds are VERY comfortable. Room was clean. It was out pit stop driving from MKE to Rapid City. Breakfast could have had more selections especially for teens. We ended up eating on the road.

We were in town to visit relatives...relatives joined us at the hotel and wanted to swim...but we could only get 2 more swim passes for our room. We were the only ones in the pool. This rule was not useful....we only needed 2 more passes but couldn't get them. This rule needs to be changed. We were more than willing to pay for them.

I wasn't very happy about our stay. First, the beds feel like they are 20 years old plus. There was absolutely no support in either bed. My spouse and I kept rolling into one another in the center of the bed. Secondly, the air conditioning. This isn't even the hottest time of the year, and we couldn't get the room too cool down! The room was always […] stuffy. Lastly, the breakfast. We were downstairs by 7am. It was perfect timing - or was it? By 7 am, we shouldn't have to be running after staff because there is no OJ left in the machine and no milk for cereal. When my husband tracked someone down for milk, the attendant reached into the refrigerator and poured enough milk in the milk cannister for a bowl of cereal only. We didn't bother about OJ, and opted for apple juice instead. Sugar water... it tasted like sugar water. You have the potential to have a great with your water feature. When we arrived and wanted to check in we waited at least 15 to 20 minutes and no one came so we rang the bell,we heard a flush of the toilet and then finally someone came to check us in. She explained everything well but we were surprised at the FEE to take our grandchildren swimming!! I understand that it is not a public swimming pool but we have […] never been charged before at any other motels!! Your waterslide and pool is NOT that spectacular to charge a fee for a few xtra people who are with the guests who paid to stay there! Unless you really love your carbohydrates, your breakfast really did not impress me. We were told that the exit door we would be using was tricky and she was right, during the freezing and windy weather we had to fight this door to open!! If you know it is broke, please fix it! And finally we really didn't appreciate the fact that our room was NEVER cleaned, beds were not made, coffee & etc, was not restocked when we left during the day during our stay there! Several items need painting and redoing in the hotel. All of the doors were full of screw holes and just looked run down. Towels were cheap and two different colors???? Hot tub out of order and paint peeling off of steps to waterslide..Time to put some money back into the business, so you don't loose business.....

Very clean room. Easy access to the interstate and other main roads. Room was very nice, they could update their pillows.

Exceeded what I would have expected from a basic hotel. Very quiet and clean. Friendly staff. The window opened, which is always a plus with me. This was a perfect hotel for our business needs.

This was a great stay. We had been working all day long in my mother in laws house and were pulling a U-Haul to our residence in Western South Dakota. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were wonderful. We would definitely stay there again.

The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definately recommend this Hotel to family and friends! Our room was very clean and comfortable. We plan on staying there again when we go thru Mitchell.

We stayed here for a night during a cross-country drive. The only bummer was that the big water slide was only open at night. When I checked in, she gave me the pool hours, but didn't specify that that slide was only open from 5-10pm. The room was comfy enough, although I was only there for about 10 hours each night. The breakfast room was a little small, but the continental breakfast was a little better than other Days Inn I have stayed at.

The hotel was great for our purpose - a quick overnight stay before continuing on to Spearfish the next day. Even though we had a late check-in, close to midnight, we got service at the front desk quickly. The rooms were in decent condition, although ours smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The room was very quiet which was nice.

My daughter loved the various pools. At 2 1/2, she's fearless so she had no problem going between the 2 pools - the kiddie with a small slide and the adult with the 150' waterslide. We went down the waterslide 3 times, but she could have gone down 300 times if I let her. It was a good respite during our road trip to Rapid City.

Great place to stay with a great water slide, good breakfast-not great-but very good. It is an older hotel but very nice. However...no elevator. So be prepared to carry stuff to the second floor.

the room was great. the beds were soft and plenty of room in the room. the fridge was big for a hotel room which is great for travelers. the whole experience was great and would reccommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly and informative. The room was sparkling clean, quiet, and we were located near an exit for easy access to our car. The continental breakfast was great, and was replenished often, right up till closing time. It was a great stay!

Although pool are is great. It was filled with about 30 children with 1 adult supervisor. The noise was deafening and certainly kept any other adults from taking advantage of the pool and hot tub.

Comfortable beds. Helpful staff. Kids loved the pool. Adults enjoyed the hottub. Chlorine burned eyes in pool area, but was very clean.

We stopped at the Days Inn Mitchell on our way from the Twin Cities to the Black Hills. It was very convenient and family friendly. The waterslide was fun and a nice break from the car. Breakfast isn't fancy, but was good and got us going. The rooms, we stayed twice coming and going, were clean and comfortable.

We stopped in Mitchell on our way from Minneapolis to Mount Rushmore. Nice hotel for the price. Our 7 year old loved the swimming pool and water slide. I admit that I went down the slide a few times and enjoyed the pool. Nice location off the interstate, close to lots of food and Cabelas. Good value for the money.

Hotel was average interstate hotel. They have a water slide, nice size hot tub. The only complaint that we had was that it was so hot in the pool area, along with the chlorine smell, it was pretty uncomfortable for the kids and adults having to watch them, there is a life guard on duty. The building is on the older side but it is well maintained. Everything that one really cares about is there. They even have a waterslide.

The waterpark area was great for our family with 3 little boys, ages 1-5. We loved the waterslide! Room was clean. The breakfast was crowded with not a very good selection. It wasn't being checked on by staff so things would go empty and not get refilled. Other than breakfast I was very satisfied.

It was a very nice stay the pool area was nice, pool gear toward the kids. It was nice to have a life gaurd on duty so you could send the older kids down if the parents didn't want to go. There was a large selection restaunts to choose from.

The beds were not comfortable, the tub and toilet were plugged. The temp on the heater didn't work had to crank it to 80 just to warm the room up. The chain was broken on the door. For the same money could have done better.
