"Overall good, with minor suggestions to improve"
First off, the location was great. I stayed here overnight with some friends to attend a celebration in the Uptown area. All of the staff we interacted with was nice & friendly. There wasn't a luggage rack in our room which was weird? We ate dinner at one of the restaurants (It was the sports bar) and although I didn't have any troubles with my food, […] my friend's dinner included chicken with a bunch of skin still on it. Yuck! Upon returning, I personally found it hard to sleep. The bed just wasn't right for me for whatever reason. Overall, it was a great stay. Hassle-free check in/check out. One thing to remember though: When you check out, TAKE YOUR ROOM KEY WITH YOU! You will need it to swipe out of the parking garage lest you pay double for your parking and even paying it once isn't cheap! "Sheraton Dallas"
Friendly service, helpful staff. Overall room was nice and clean but shower pressure was bad. Room A/C was not up to par, and wouldn't go below 68 on the thermostat. This made it somewhat hot in the room the entire night. Two of the three elevators to our floor were down during our stay which made wait times 5-10 minutes.

"Sheraton Hotel Dallas, Texas"
This was a nice hotel. It would be nice if you would offer a free refrigerator & microwave in the rooms. Also, some type of free breakfast would be nice for those mornings you are running short on time.
"Great Downtown location"
I was very disappointed with the fact that I had to change my keys out 4 times throughout my stay, no ice in ice-machines, and they forgot to stock my bathroom with tolietries everyday. Of course they comp my hotel fee for parking for the inconvience but getting to your room at night the the keys not working was untolerable

This is definitely a business/conference oriented hotel; not geared towards leisure stay. There was no hot tub, and in December the pool was too cold. Also, went over Christmas holiday so downtown was shut down but still had to pay $21 a night for parking. No breakfast and inside club had limited food items. The thermastat in our room read 68 degrees […] but never got under 78 and was hot at night to sleep. Would not stay here again for leisure. "Bad Sheraton!!!"
Was there with family for the Red River Game!! Horrible check-in staff, extremely rude! my sisters' room was so small and the bathroom was almost 1/4 of my bathroom. They nearly had to brush their teeth over the toilet not a sink!! Parking man was rude too. He told us we should not leave once we had a parking spot...um...INTERESTING!!!
"Disapointing stay at the Sheraton"
I rarely write reviews but felt I had to share. This was a really bad experience for me. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the room so this is a poor choice if you have children. I didn't have my son with me though. Both cups for the coffee pot were used. I had to call tech support 3 times to use the wi fi. They did credit me back the charge […] but it was really frustrating not being able to use the internet. Probably the worst was my room was near the elevator and it sounded like a train. When I first checked into my room and heard it, I thought there was a low flying plane and looked out the window, it was so loud. I didn't get much sleep because of the noise of the elevators. The location is convenient to the highways and the neighborhood was nice. I walked a few blocks to main street to eat. I wouldn't stay there again. "Great access to downtown and the State Fair"
This is well-positioned hotel in downtown Dallas with easy access to the state fair. The trains are located directly out the front door of the hotel. The room was comfortable. The front desk service was very good. The hotel parking was entirely sold out so we found a parking spot on the street.

Great location! Right next to the DART stop that can take you almost anywhere around the city!

Was a little expensive, needed a small refrigerator and could use more towels in the double queen bed room (only had 3), but other than that this hotel was fantastic and will be back next year!
"Red River Rivalry Suite"
Hotel was great! Only a few miles away from the Cotton bowl. The Dart was right outside the building. Perfect for traveling around the city! Recommend this hotel to anyone catching a game!

WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR ROOMS AND THE AMENITIES THAT CAME WITH THEM. THE HOTEL HAD ALOT TO OFFER WITH A SPORTS BAR AND NICE GIFT SHOP ETC. I WAS SUPRISED THE HOTEL DIDNT HAVE A SHUTTLE TO TAKE GUESTS TO THEIR DESTINATIONS. THAT WOULD BE MY ONLY DISSAPOINTMENT. "Sheraton - Dallas"
Disappointed in the condition of the room and the room size. The closet doors were off the tracks and the air conditioning would not adjust. When we arrived they did not have any guest parking available and we had to park in a lot a block away from the hotel.

"Rude Staff"
The service at this hotel was a nightmare. We were sent in circles trying to park, and then told that we could not park in the Sheraton Parking Lot. I understand that they were busy, but they should have been helpful in assisting us in finding a parking space (instead of sarcastically-- you'll just have to find someplace else). Then, when we finally […] did park, I called the hotel desk and requested the charge for parking be deducted from my bill (since we ended up in a public parking lot that was paid for separately). I was told -- again sarcastically -- it was not on my bill. And of course, the morning receipt showed the parking charge on my bill. At the front desk, when I told the clerk I had been overcharged, she schooled me on the use of my phrase "overcharged" -- telling me it was a billing error not an "overcharge". My definition of overcharge is having items added to my bill that I did not receive. Anyway, the hotel was clean although the rooms were very small, and due to the staff, I would never recommend. Very nice staff. Only complaint was the immature group staying in the room next to us that had a party until 3:30am. It would had even gone on longer had we not called hotel security to which they thankfully shut it down immediately.

Enjoyed this hotel and it has a great location right by a DART rail station. We also had a car and the parking garage was fine - never crowded - but it was annoying to get in and out of, because the key card swiper never worked and we always had to call to be let out. Sometimes they would not answer for 20+ rings and you had to sit there and wait, while […] holding up a line of cars since there was only one exit lane. For $22/day parking this was a disappointment. I checked into the hotel and they had a very nice, guest services staff. I didn't have to wait in line very long, on the other hand, when I got to my suite, there was No microwave nor mini fridge. I was floored, then it had taken the maids all day to clean my room. I had left things scattered about just to see if they would put them in place and they […] didn't. One day they didn't clean my room until almost 3:oo PM that's horrible. "Lack of attention to detail"
Bed and duvet were very comfortable and lovely but sheets although well pressed were torn. Shower although tile was pretty new had mildew in the corners. Closet door was off of the track but fixed immediately when I pointed it out. The staff was nice but the rooms displayed a lack of attention to detail for a fine hotel.

Spent the long weekend here and really enjoyed ourselves. Great outdoor rooftop pool. Most amazing fitness center I've seen in any hotel. People took really good care of us.

This is a nice facility but it I very difficult to navigate through the complex layout of the facility. When I wanted help finding where to go the staff were not helpful. The concierge gave unclear directions and a group of workers in the lobby bar/ restaurant were more interested in conversations with their co-workers. If you don't care about service […] this is the place for you. Even when we checked in and out, the lady at the desk provided minimal information and was not friendly at all. This hotel was simply amazing. Great city views, central location. Stayed in an executive suite which had a huge sitting area with sectional sofa, dining table, & flat screen. The bedroom was seperate and equally as big in size with 2 queen beds. Stayed on the 34th floor with city views. I would recomend the Shearaton Dallas to anyone looking for a […] great place to stay in the downtown Dallas area. We were very disappointed in our stay. Room was very small, almost cramped. We tried to adjust the temperature in the room with no success. Unable to reach anyone by phone at concierge desk or express check out. Concierge desk was poorly staffed, very disorganized, and staff did not seem knowledgable of the local area.

"Melting outside and inside"
Everything about the hotel was good until we stayed an hour into our room and realized it was hot and tried to fix the AC, but that did not help. We called the front desk to ask them to fix it and they took about 30 minutes after 2 phone calls for someone to come up. The guy did not even fix it he pretty much just took the top of the vent off the AC. "Nice and comfortable"
Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. Hotel is nice, rooms look newly renovated, flat screen, new beds, very clean....Neat sports bar and great pool area. Would stay there again
The AC did not work. We were given the room right next to the elevator. The keys did not work initially after waiting in line for 20 minutes to check in and after ascending 20 floors.

Great hotel, great service and very comfortable stay. we had an amazing view of the city from our room. the only thing we disliked was that there was no hot tub with the pool.

My stay there was awful. The bedding and towels smelled disgusting. The shower did not drain well. I ordered room service twice and it never showed up. I was afraid to leave the hotel at night because it is in a terrible neighborhood. Do not stay here.

"Sheraton Downtown Dallas- broken AC"
Our air condition was broken in our room. We didn't realize this until about 1:00 a.m. when the room just would not cool down. They sent a technician up to fix it at about 2:00 a.m. He was very rude and from what we saw basically "pretended" to work on it. At around 2:45 he said it was fixed and to leave the vent up. He did not fix it and after much […] complaining it was still not working when we checked out. We also booked a room with two beds being that we were business associates and staying together. No surprise in this hotel. Regular Sheraton. BUT, do not stay in this hotel if you have a car ! Self parking was 21$ overnight and is NOT in and out. So you end up paying 40-50 dollars per day which is VERY annoying. Hello, this is Texas, not New York city ! Besides that, the first night the closest one was full and had to walk 10 minutes with my bag […] to reach the hotel. So very unhappy about that and will not come back to this hotel because of that.
