The reservations were made for a family of 5 and there was enough place only for four. I was expecting queen size beds, and a flat screen TV but the room was not at that level. The staff was super friendly. Pool was great the rooms where big compare to most hotels. I would recommended it theres just one girl that works at front desk that has a bit of an attitude but didn't really bother me much I would defiantly come again

I found it over priced for what you get, and they need to clarify on the room descriptions when your purchasing online

The breakfast buffet was great, a good variety

Nice room, plenty of space. Fridge micro and coffee maker. Short walk to attractions. Friendly staff

The staff was great and my wife and daughter loved the pool and slide. The parking was a bit of a pain and I'll need to take a second job to pay for room service my daughter wanted to experience, but otherwise a great hotel and excellent staff.

very handy location to view around the city and great building

The service was excellent and everyone was pleasant. I was quite pleased with the hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again on my next trip to Ottawa.

Unfortunately, my husband suffered a heart attack in the middle of the night during our stay at the Delta in Ottawa. The hotel staff couldn't have been more kind and responsive to our needs. Hotel was easy to find and very nice but parking costs are a complete rip-off. Think ur getting a deal on the room and they charge $20+ for parking there for 10 hours...nice!

Room was clean, food excellent at the buffet, was not able to use the underground parking at 5 ' 9" with our pick up so had to pay for city parking which was expensive and they did not offer to reimburse us any of the cost so not happy about that, they need new tvs ie. flat screen so it was good but wont be there again due to the lack of parking

The suite in which we stayed had a beautiful view from the balcony - the Parliment, the river, the War Museum, the Museum of Civilization, etc. Also, this type of suite was perfect for a family - having the separate bedroom, eating and living areas as well and the counter with sink and fridge made is so easy to travel with a baby and a very active four […] year old. The two nights spent in your hotel were very comfortable, food good, staff good we did have all we needed and wish to Thank You.

This hotel has seen better days. It definitely needs a reno. The "air conditioning" system is antiquated and sounds like a 747 at take-off. Not easy to sleep through. The linens are a bit pilly. Reception on the TV (not a flat screen) was not good. Still, it was spacious and came with a mini kitchen which worked OK.

Downtown, close to everything, clean room and staff very helpful.

We were very happy with our hotel room--we requested a room with a view and got one which provided TWO great views, that of the Parliament Hill Tower and a view to the west over the Ottawa River. The room was large, the bed comfortable, the room service quick and the food good. Any questions were answered pleasantly and detailed maps and instructions […] were provided for locations of places in the city. The room was quiet at night although we could see fireworks from across the river and hear an outdoor concert when the door was open. Altogether a very nice spot! ottawa is a great jem of a city to visit.our stay at the delta was quite pleasant it is right near all the attractions.the hotel staff and its services are quite pleasant an not overly priced . i would go back.

very disappointing: This hotel is in the city in which I live. This was a one night get-away. This hotel was not terrible, but not great either. I recommend choosing another hotel, as there are better hotels, at better prices, nearby. Biggest problem is the bathroom. It is out of date, too small for the size of the suite, and worst of all, the shower […] head is much too low for most adults. Anyone 5'4" or taller has to crouch in order to get their head under the water stream.(no exaggeration.) They don't seem to pay enough attention to details. Our suite had been cleaned & set as one would usually expect, but the kitchen garbage, which was in a cabinet under the sink, had not been emptied from the previous guest's stay. There was no paper or cloth towels provided in the kitchen area, nor can you watch TV from the desk, as the doors to the TV cabinet only swing open, but do not recess out of the way, which blocks the view fro the desk. Service in the lounge was vitually non-existant, mainstream items were out of stock and dinks were over-priced. (remember this is my home-town, I know what the going rate is locally.) Physical fitness room,Pool And waterslide were great and above average.Parking was quite expensive.

The hotel room was good and the location relatively good. The bed was comfortable and the room was quite, so you can get a good night's sleep.Parking at the hotel is expensive compared to other places and they let you keep the car in the garage only until 2 pm.

My first impressions of the room I was in was not good. The bathrooms are from the 70's with old tub, sink and faucets. The furnature was old and needed updating and the TV's are small tube tv's with terrible cable. My first reaction was "I wanted to cancel and go somewhere else". Upon check-in I was greated couteously and promptly. When reviewing the number of guests in our party, I was asked if we had stayed at the Delta before which we have on many occassions. I was then pleasantly surprised that he was going to upgrade us to a two bedroom suite at no extra charge. This meant no cot for my daughter and my mother would have […] her own room. Service was poor start to finish. No parking for full sizes truck, told to leave it on the street. Then no one to help me carry my bags from the street to the hotel, both at check in and out. Given the wrong room, again no help to move my stuff. Rooms are dated. Washrooms are small. House keeping was knocking then opening my door at nine am, check out […] isn't till eleven. The staff has no respect for their paying customers. I will never go back to this hotel again. Event staff, front desk staff, and Hotel management most of all are very very rude and inconsiderate.

Not to be confused with the Delta across the road, which was causing a lot of confusion for guests. Watch out for the newspaper left at your door , you get charged for it at the end!. Also there was very limited wi fi access in the hotel, we could only access it on one chair in the lobby. Great access to all dowtown shops and Parliament Hill. Very pleasant […] staff except for one lady in the Sparks bar who greeted our request for drinks with horror and the next time made us wait 25 minutes for a repeat order. Pull-out couch/bed was not comfortable and slanted towards the back. The main bed in the bedroom was quite comfy. Good kitchen area with a cold fridge! Water slide was enjoyable. THE MAIN REASON FOR STAY WAS WINTERLUDE, THE PULL OUT BED FOR THE CHILDREN AGE 8 AND 11 COULD NOT SLEEP WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE NOBODY GOT SLEEP WITH 4 IN A BED (ARE BED FOR THEY COULD SLEEP.) Although the hotel is conveniently located to all major attractions including the government buildings, the staff were not friendly and the rooms were not cleaned between nights. I stayed at the hotel due to it's downtown location close to shopping malls and whatnot. The parking structure was sort of hard to find (being that it was underneath the hotel) but once you find the garage its actually a nice, secure facility. After getting to the hotel, they allowed me to check in a few hours early and I was given keys and friendly […] service by the hotel staff. When I went to my room, the internet was the modem and ethernet cable which was fine for my laptop however I also had a handheld internet device I couldnt use in my room (however, a starbucks around the corner did allow me to connect during coffee). My room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. My room didnt have a remote to go with the TV but after contacting the front desk, I had one in minutes. The pool is very large and the spa tub was very comforting after a long day out in Ottawa. This hotel is close to all the major bus stops to take you around Ottawa, and it was very close to Rideau Centre for shopping and close to Parliament.
