"very good and respetive service"
the hotel is under renovation so the room we had was no yet done. it was very clean and tired but the hotel staff did everything to make our stay great. The spa has a great,,,, great massage therapist.., the pool and gym are great and the location is fabulous.

Was just ok in our opinion. They did have many postings advertising renovations spring 2012 so hopefully that helps. Kind of had an odd smell to the room. Not a good view. Fine if you just need somewhere to stay.

"The Delta Hotel in Montreal in convient location"
This hotel will be much better when the rooms are renovated. Although the room is spacious it is very run down. The beds are comfortable. The pool area is good. Convient location to walk to St Catherine.

The furniture in our room was not fit for a cottage. It was badly beaten up as was the carpet. We were told that the hotel was being renovated so I called to make sure the reno was not going to affect our stay and they assured me it was only certain rooms being renovated. "The message keeping in confidence"
I think it could be called as a certain excellent work what the hotel has done. Actually, when I was in Montreal and when I tried to avoid to let some "troublesome friends" to find me, the staff of Delta Montreal kept my message for staying very well, which helped me to have a such good holidays.

"affordable, accessible & clean"
this is pretty much my go-to hotel for a night in Montreal. The rooms could use a little updating, sure, but the beds are comfortable, the rooms are very big, it's close to a ton of shopping, restaurants & music venues, and right near the Metro should you care to venture farther out. I stayed 3 nights at the Delta Downtown Montreal. The hotel is nice and well kept. The lobby area is very nice and inviting. The rooms are in good shape, clean, spacious and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and made for a good night sleep. The washrooms are outdated and in need of an upgrade but were still clean and did the job. The hotel […] is in a great location with access to food, coffee, shopping and nightlife within a 2-5 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in downtown Montreal without spending too much money. Parking was expensive but does allow in and out privileges. I believe the hotel should offer free wireless internet, and it needs new flat TVs.

Good friendly service; provided good advice and follow-up. Hotel condition adequate but needs renovation. Room OK but curtains let night lights in - no way to close entirely. Room temperature difficult to control

Excellent location in downtown, close to Mall, Beer/ wine store, subway and a 10 minute indoor walk from the train station. This is a comfortable and clean hotel and if you can get a good deal should be recommended for location and convienience. "Delta Montreal offers all we look for when away"
This is the third time we have stayed at Delta Montreal. It is close to the areas in Montreal we enjoy visting on these get aways. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We look forward to returning in the spring when renovations are completed and will have a fresh new look.

The hotel was centrally located and in walking distance to all of the sites we wanted to see. However, the hotel rooms definitely are in need of some renovations. There are signs posted throughout the hotel, albeit in French, that I believe to suggest that all rooms will be renovated in 2012. The hotel is promising a complete reno by 2012 so this review may not apply for much longer. Good location downtown, but the hotel is tired. Carpet in the room was stained from years of use and the decor etc...are dated. However, the overall cleanliness was acceptable. The spaces in the parking garage are tight; and there is an odour of exhaust fumes […] that greet you in the lobby area of the parking elevators. On a positive note, my wife scheduled a hair cut in the hotel salon and was very happy with the results ( she is very particular, so this is a big deal ) I would not go out of my way to stay there, but it was the best price for a big downtown hotel, and if you intend on seeing the city and just need a place to sleep; this hotel would be fine. My recent stay at the Delta Montreal was fantastic. They were so accomodating and flexible at a great price, i was definately impressed. An early check-in and a last minute late check-out (at no extra charge), the view from our balcony was amazing and the food was great (try the nachos). The pool, sauna, hot tub and 24 hr gym.....yea.
