What a welcome change after staying many years at crowded Chinatown Hilton for the Chinese NY Parade. This hotel was clean, personable, and centrally located. Most employee's were friendly and helpful, especially door men. The beds/sheets/pillows were of good quality. We stayed in back of hotel which was quiet. We also had opportunity to see 2 other […] rooms which were also nice. My two complaints would be that our room had no bathtub and no dresser to up pack... had to live out of suitcase. Our friends did have a tub and dresser in their rooms so request if desired. The lobby was cozy with nice fireplace. Would have been nice to have simple breakfast items in lobby for breakfast along with vending machines in hotel. Did have morning coffee and quality wine tasting in early evening. We also found this hotel to be kid friendly. Overall, we loved this hotel and would stay at Executive Vintage Court again. Do check out local cafe on corner of Bush and Powell for a great breakfast! Botique hotel recently remodeled. Had read mixed reviews on this hotel, but I found it to be clean, superb staff very willing to help, and quiet room on the 8th floor. The location is great for union square shopping, close to starbucks for an early morning tea or coffee. Rates were competitive for area hotels. Each room is named after a napa valley […] wine, and decorated with that theme in mind. Coffee free in the morning and wine function around 5ish. This is not a hotel boutique like others. The maid didn't clean our room correctly. She dind'nt gave us shampoo, soap, lotion dialy. The used towls stayed in the bathrrom after she cleaned it.

Good location. Older hotel with poor plumbing but other than that, well worth it. Will definitely recommend to friends and stay there again when we return to beautiful San francisco!!!

Both me and my girlfriend liked staying here. I understand this is not for everyone. For e.g., if you need a parking spot, don't stay here. Parking anywhere downtown SF is very expensive, around $30/night. Good service. My girlfriend asked for an extra pillow and they brought it up in about 5min. Clean room, nothing super fancy. "You get what you pay for" -- but it is cheap! It even charges for travel size toothpaste/toothbrush combo (given gree at any dental office) on the mimi-bar! Never again unless I'm totally desperate or broke!

The Executive Hotel was comfortable, in a good location for public transportation and the staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our 1 night stay.

Convenient to Union Square, Nob Hill, Chinatown. Room is basic. Older building like most SF boutique hotels. Great place if you are just looking for a clean place to sleep. We asked for and got a quiet room with no street noise.

The hotel and its staff were fine. The single queen room is small, but it's cozy. It will fit a couple fine. The hotel is situated very close to major modes of public transportations including the BART, and MUNI systems. You're 2 or 3 blocks away from the Grant Street - Chinatown (as opposed to the Inner Richmond, "new Chinatown"). My problem with […] the hotel is that at least for Room 816 and I assume all rooms in the same area of the hotel, every day or every other day, you will hear the garbage truck come at 5:00 in the morning. The room was nice and parking was convient but you do have to pay 35-40 dollars. We only stayed one night and got back to the hotel late but the room suited us well. The only thing was our room was against the street so you could hear traffic, but not that big of a deal.

This is an older hotel but in very good shape. Room was clean and in good repair. Staff was excelent. Very helpful with directions and places to dine and site see. Close to street car service and downtown area with a shoet taxi ride. Will stay at this hotel the next time i am in San Francisco on businees or pleasure.

i decided to stay at this hotel because a the rate and the location,i booked 3 differents hotel before this one and cancel them. i happy than i did it. the room are comfortable even if they are not that big.the service is good and the reception is good. i stay there 3 night and will go back there when i will comeback to SF

We came up from l.a.after work on Friday night, therefore it was a late check in. I called at 6p to confirm a midnight check in. the woman on three other end seemed irritated that we would deign yup arrive overnight. Then at check in, the overnight employees were very unhelpful. My Husband arrived late and wanted to get a good night sleep, when something bit him. A bed bug!!! He was moved immediately to a new room, right across from the elevator. Not a great experience.

Delighted overall with the hotel; excellent value. Very courteous and helpful staff. Richard (?) at the desk knows all about the blues and jazz scene in SF - big plus for me! So the hotel is somewhat updated, I mean new bed & TV.. Hotel is old, bathroom had mold around the bathtub and was just old and outdated. Hotel sits at Powell & Bush, top of the hill from Market, Pretty good walk up a hill... Nice area.. Nob Hill area, If your somewhat fit the climb is not too bad.. We have stayed at this hotel many times and always on christmas Day. The staff is very friendly. This is an old in city hotel and our expectations are for just that. If you want a lot of fancy amenities, go to one of the better known chains. Our evening started with a friendly free wine tasting in the lobby and then we walked to Chinatown for dinner. […] Next day we were up and walked a half block and jumped on the cable car for a ride down to Fisherman's wharf for breakfast. When I approached the hotel there was a staff member to assist me with my luggage and ask if he could help in any other way. Quite impressed with the staff overall.

Cheap and perfect location

With a cable car stop, bus stop and union square all within 3 mins walk you can't go wrong with the Vintage Court. The staff were very helpful with helping us to plan an enjoyable visit to San Francisco. I would definitely stay here again, as it was a perfect mix of cleanliness, location, value and service.

Stayed a night with my boyfriend.... When we woke up in the morning we noticed one of our pillows had dried blood stains from a prior guest. We were disgusted, I brought it to the front desks attention and all he said was "eeewww". The front desk staff was busy with their own conversations I felt like I was interrupting them when I needed anything. […] Overall staff was not helpful and the room was not sanitary. This room was horrible. Not clean. Hair in the bath tub, the floor wasnt vacuumed and the trash bin not cleaned. I was completely grossed out and felt embarrassed that I had picked this hotel for my colleagues. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I should have known better when I called and asked that my fiancée's name be added to the reservation so that if she arrived prior to me, that she would be able to check in, head upstairs to relax and unwind from her travels. They absolutely refused to accomodate the request. I asked to speak with the manager, and this rude individual "Nathan" who claimed […] to be the "guest services manager" said it was for my own identity protection. What a crock. Once i arrived, the lobby was full of strange guest all over drinking on the complimentary wine service the hotel provide each evening. When I asked for a glass of red, the bell hop looked at me and said, "sorry, you snooze...you loose." Wow. At this point it was almost laughable. The rooms are tiny, the smell like smoke, the elevator is unsafe, and the staff is almost impossible to feel at all comfortable. I frequently visit SF two-three times per month and this is bar far the most offensive and uncomfortable stay I have ever had. STAY AWAY from this over priced underwhelming experience. This was our first trip to San Francisco and the lcoation of this hotel was pretty good. It was really close to Union Square & Chinatown. We did walk to the pier but it was certaily a hike. The staff were very nice and helped with any directions we needed. The room was a little dated and the bathroom was very old and tired. But clean!! This hotel is in an excellent location. Close to Chinatown, Nob Hill, North Beach. We did a lot of walking at night and felt very safe. This is an older hotel that has not been recently updated. We were on a deep courtyard and the trash pick up at 5 AM reverberated loudly, waking us up.

I highly recommend this hotel... You will not be disappointed. Booked it at the last minute from SFO and when I arrived I was impressed.

Everything was old and smelled old; the pillows sucked for sleeping.

This hotel was just what we needed to visit our 2 daughters. It's central location was convenient (i.e. chinatown, SOMA, Union square, Civic Center) and accommodations were fine. Parking is always a nightmare but that's San Francisco. All in all it was a good experience.

This was a lovely little hotel, definitely vintage in feel with the bathroom covered in little octagonal tiles from teh 1930s I would guess. But clean, friendly staff and an easy walk to Union Square area. Though not as easy coming home as it is up hill. Would certainly stay again. I had an interview in the city and was looking for a place within walking distance. This hotel solved that purpose well. The staff and service were good too. But as far as the condition of the hotel (especially the rooms) it could use a face lift to be frank. Well it's SF so i dont expect big rooms or anything,.. The hotel was uphill from Union Square and although it seemed clean the room smelled of stale smoke or old carpet and the air conditioning did not work. The alley behind was noisy during the night. It was fine for one night and we did not spend much time in the room but the odor was certainly a turn off.,

In my view, This hotel is a dive. The pictures online are misleading. Woken up at 4am by what sounded like bricks being thrown down a chute. View out of my window was the window of the person in the next door building, which was 5 feet away. Window unit air conditioner. Bathroom like an old aparment. Stay away.

The name Executive Hotel Vintage Court is quite misleading. "Executives" would not be caught dead here. "Hotel" is kind of a stretch -- multi-floor motel is more appropriate. Vintage probably fits. And, there were no "Courts" to speak of, be they areas open to the sky, stately dwellings, halls of justice, or otherwise. If we are to be precise, this […] hotel would have to be renamed the Entry Level Noisy Multi-Floor Motel with Rock Hard Beds and No Services at All. Supposedly, there was some sort of wine happy hour, but I never saw it and never even saw evidence of it. In the morning, they put out some coffee, and there were a few green apples during the day, but that's all I saw. Oh, and the valet parking is a total rip-off. I paid roughly $50/night for your car to be parked at a public lot one block away. Then, when I wanted my car back (so I could go catch my flight) it took the valet nearly 40 minutes to bring it to me. Oh, and speaking of slow, the elevator (there is only one) routinely took 10 minutes or more to get from wherever it was to the ground floor. I would recommend taking the stairs. On the positive side, at least I didn't see any bed bugs. So, if you are truly an "Executive" or you have the ability to stay elsewhere, I would recommend that you do so. Przeczytaj więcej
