Spędziłem w tym hotelu trzy noce i byłem bardzo zadowolony. Oddalony od centrum, ale oferujący kilkakrotnie w ciągu dnia bezpłatny dojazd własnym busem do głównej ulicy miasta. Niedaleko dostęp do komunikacji publicznej. Położenie tuż przy jeziorze z przyjemnym widokiem na wodę. Czysty pokój (gorzej na korytarzach), dobrze wypozażona łazienka, klimatyzacja, uprzejma obsługa w recepcji, dostatecznie wyposażony pokój biznesowy (komputer, drukarka) ogólny bezpłatny dostęp WiFi do Internetu, basen, w pokojach ekspres do kawy i lodówka, co dzień nowa porcja kawy i herbaty do samodzielnego przyrządzania, telewizor (choć nie najlepszej jakości i z małą liczbą programów, ale to nie było dla mnie najważniejsze), na korytarzu maszyna do lodu i automaty z napojami. Jedno co mi nie odpowiadało to posiłki w restauracji hotelowej, zwłaszcza oferowane podczas śniadań (jajecznica, chyba z proszku, dziwne jakieś mazie, dziwne w smaku kiełbaski itp), ale to zapewne typowo amerykańskie potrawy, a wyczucie smaku to oczywiście rzecz indywidualnego gustu. W każdym razie były dość urozmaicone i zawsze uzupełnione o świeże owoce. Raz w tygodniu w rozsądnej cenie ( 20 dol.) kolacja typu - bufet, z zadziwiająco dużym wyborem dań (część nawet mi smakowała, a jestem przyzwyczajony do dobrej kuchni - zwłaszcza ryby, których oferowano kilka rodzajów w różnej postaci) towarzyszyła temu muzyka na żywo i sprawna obsługa kelnerska. W sumie OK.
Za dodatkową osobę może być wymagana dopłata, której wysokość zależy od obiektu.
Przy zameldowaniu wymaga się przedstawienia ważnego, oficjalnego dowodu tożsamości z fotografią oraz wpłacenia kaucji kartą kredytową na wypadek nieprzewidzianych kosztów.
Spełnienie specjalnych wymagań zależy od możliwości ich realizacji w dniu przybycia klienta i może podlegać dodatkowej opłacie. Realizacja specjalnych wymagań nie jest zapewniona.

"Could be great"
Wonderful location but took it off the list for a return visit. No breakfast available until 7 AM (am I the only guest who goes to work before that?); they forgot to make up room one of three days; persistent sewer smell from bathroom vent (reported, unaddressed); no control of heat available, ever. Really a shame, great location.

"overpriced for what is offered"
It's in a great location and the rooms were fairly comfortable. However, the heater in the room did not work. The shower is designed very poorly and thus gets water all over the bathroom floor. The walls are very thin, so you hear pretty much anything going on in the surrounding rooms and hallway and street. For the price I was expecting more. Wifi internet only at the lob which is a very small place , and the internet at the rooms is charged and as my room was at the end of the corridor, it only worked at the room, not at the bedroom.Excellent localization and acomodatios is good for the price.Very helpfull stafe.

We have stayed here a number of times. We booked a room for Monday - Wednesday and received a free room upgrade. Staff is very pleasant and the hotelis located a block east of Michigan ave. "Even Better Than I thought it would be!"
I booked the Raffaello Hotel based on the good review it has received, so I expected it to be nice, but frankly it's even nicer than I thought it would be.The hotel is decorated very nicely, from the lobby to your actual room, really very pretty. We got the king size room, and it was a nice size room and I love the little dressing table/kitchen area […] between the room and the bathroom. The whole place looks new or recently redone. It's right by the Hancock building so very convenient to Michigan Ave, but it isn't noisy. The staff is very friendly and tries to help you in any way. The room was nice, but small. The bathroom was large, but only 1 person could use the bathroom and sinks at once making it time consuming for everyone to get ready.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for our 10th wedding anniversary. When we told them at check in why we were there they immediately upgraded our room at no charge! The room and hotel are beautiful and staff was wonderful! I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely return!! Very satisfied! !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was highly convenient to everything we wanted to do in Chicago, from sightseeing to shopping. We will most certainly stay here again on our next visit. The price for the room sweetened the deal.

"Convenient"

"Raffaello-superb, convenient location"
The 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teens) were quite comfortable in the large suite. Free WiFi only in lobby area was a bit of a pain. Recommend you take your own breakfast.

Nice hotel! This was our second stay at the Raffaello. It is in a great location! Only draw back that we experienced was that valet parking was $53 per night!! Self parking near by was more like $28.

Out of all the hotels that I have stayed in, this is the best night sleep I have ever gotten, my husband and daughter both agree. The hotel was comfortable and surprisingly it was very quiet.

One of the best hotels stays I've ever had. Everything was available that I needed. Staff was helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the view and although there was some hallway noise, not more than any other hotel I've been to. Decor was relaxing and inviting. Loved the dressing mirror area. Always like having a place to put out all the eye shadows and hairsprays […] to find easily in the AM. Enjoyed the rain type shower, nice touch to start the day and plenty of towels. The cost of in-room internet was really the only thing that was a little frustrating, but in the end didn't need it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know. Hope to get to visit city again and Raffaello will be my first choice of where to stay. "In the heart of Chicago"
Loved the hotel. Loved the situation. The elevators were way too small to cope with number of guests and staff. We loved the suite but we had supposedly been upgraded. This was not the case in my opinion as it meant that I had to sleep on a sofa bad. Have you ever slept on one of those things, you can feel every spring and the mattress is so thin it […] gives no support. I booked a double room for the purpose of 4 of us having comfortable beds. A suite is fine for 3 because of the single bed but not 4. I will refuse upgrade if there is a next time. Attention to detail is required i.e squeeky doors and grouting that needs fixing. "Rafaello was perfect for enjoying Chicago"
We enjoyed our room and will consider staying again. There was a problem with the heat in the room but it was serviced immediately. We were charged $32 for parking and it was located a block from the hotel.

Never having stayed here before, I didn't know what to expect. The hotel is located by the Hancock Tower and there are some very good restaurants nearby. The room was adequately sized, clean, and comfortable. The lobby bar is tiny and so is the restaurant but when in Chicago it's best to try the restaurants anyway. The hotel is very nice. Good location and quality of service. Problems exist. The photos of the rooms are not really representative of the size. The two pillows are not even a standard size which affected my quality of sleep. Two very small elevators for 14 floors cause some waiting. We enjoyed our five day stay at the Raffaello. The room was nice and everyone there was friendly and professional. Our air conditioner had a little trouble keeping up with the record high temps in March, but we were never uncomfortable enough to bring it to the attention of the staff. "Too Small"
Small room. Internet / Wifi does not work with Apple products (ipad / iphone). Friend paid same and got larger room. Called engineer to fix internet and phone (which was also unplugged) and the guy never came. Plenty of low cost options in Chicago, this is not one.
