I love this hotel. I have a special son who has multiple impairments. He has his own apartment but, also has 24/7 caretakers who have a small son. They live in one section of his apartment. When I visit him, I stay at the Wingate near University Mall and everyone is always ssssooooo accommodating. I get a room with 2 queen beds and I can read to him, […] watch movies, go for walks, shop, have a great, free, hot breakfast and just enjoy being there without inconveniencing other patrons. "Looks nice from outsite"
I was moved into 3 different non-smoking rooms trying to find a room that didn't smell like a pool hall. After the 3rd room, I just gave up. Mold and mildew in the shower. Glad I was only staying 1 night.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wingate Hotel. The breakfast was great, staff very attentive. The room was comfortable and very clean. Staff very helpful and informed about local events. Will recommend to our friends.

Stayed for a week at this hotel. The staff was helpful and courteous, the room was clean and comfortable, the hot breakfast buffet was very good, better than most free buffets, and the surrounding area was great with the mall and many restaurants. "Good place for a couple of nights stay"
Service was great. Hotel a tad old but clean. Bed was comfortable and room large. Only concern is walls are paper thin and if your neighbors are noisy the walls provide no buffer. Overall had a great stay.

This hotel was well worth the money. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I was in a non smoking room and the there was no smokey smell like I sometimes encounter. I didn't stay long enough to interact with any hotel staff so I can't say how they are but my check in was quick and efficient and the clerk was polite. "Easy stay"
Nice and comfortable room. Nearby shops (Walgreen, Fresh market) and eating places (zaxby's, arby's etc). The only thing I didn't like was the plug in the bathtub, that wouldn't keep open while showering. Not a big problem, I just put a cloth under it to keep it open. Very nice welcome by one of the staff, very helpful and kind.
