I was VERY unhappy with the room it looked like someone kicked in the bathroom door an was never fixed. The hot water was not working in my room. The wals were cracked and paint was chipped or faded. The bathroom looked like there was serious water damage to the walls around the toilet but they sloppily painted over it and didn't fix it. I don't know where to start, it was terrible! The room smelled funny when we entered it and my wife noticed the floor was very stained. I needed to use the restroom and the smell of sulfur was so bad I thought someone just used it. Then while on the toilet, I notice the floor it busted up, the door was breaking and the tub had a giant hole in the side! […] The worst part was the shower. There was no hot or cold, just burning or freezing with no pressure! We complained and were told that's how all the rooms are! We will never stay at a ramada again! Przeczytaj więcej

When I told the GM the room was dirty he tried to make excuses and cover it up. It was nasty the wall was like falling it needs electrical work the bed spreads especially the foot boards were moldy it was just over all disgusting

This property needs to be torn down. The motel is poorly maintained. Our room was being fumigated when we checked in but still had a terrible odor. Would have checked out but couldn't find other accommodations. There appeared to be people living in several of the rooms.

Two couples, two rooms. Hotel and amenities left alot to be desired!!! Hallway door to room not working properly, bugs in one room, exterminator had to be called in. No milk available at continential breakfast. (No reason offered for unavailability of food stuffs).

I made the reservation for 5 people, the room had just 2 double beds, the guy at the front desk was not helpful at all, we ended using the dirty floor of this hotel, I have travelled all over the world and by far this has been the worst hotel ever!!!

Staff was great. Hotel was just OK. Good location.

If you don't want to spend much money staying in St. Augustine, this hotel is a good option. Not too far from the town at a good price. Breakfast is good. Internet service does not reach all the rooms but personnel take care of you.

slept with my dog's blanket instead! + Broken bed springs, burn/freeze water, no cable

Room door didn't work right. Room rug not clean. Dull and dingy -- lighting poor. Was surprised that this hotel was recommended by hotels.com!

Rate was fine however condition of room was unpleasant. When entering the room for first time it had a very bad mildewey smell yet the overall look of room was clean. The toilet seat was loose & fell off :( NOT COOL! Coffee was avail in room just the first night-had to ask for coffee refills at front desk. TV service awful-old TV and channel receptions […] had lots of static-unable to hear clearly. However, the following day maid service sprayed making room much more pleasant. It's not far from historic downtown. But, the pillows, sheets, and bed were uncomfortable. Service was nice and it dirty, just seems old. If you want to be in St. Augustine for cheap, it's really not bad, but $10 more will go far in St. Augustine. Try another.

Have a new bed and its was hard as a rock other then that it was a good stay

Everyone very nice, especial the lady who works in your dining area....but your bathroom was to small toilet was to the floor and really small..check in was easy check out was very pleasent everything but you restroom need improving...thank you

IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT IS WAS AN OLDER HOTEL BUT DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY AND LOCATION. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND I WOULD CONSIDER STAYING IN THE SAME HOTEL AGAIN

THE BATHROOM WAS SMELLY AND VERY SMALL THE TUB WAS SLIPPERY AND NO SAFTY BARS IN THE TUB,WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS FOR OLDER PEOPLE WHICH I HAD MY MOTHER WITH US,,I TOLD THEM ABOUT THE SLIPPERY TUB AND NOTHING WAS DONE,I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.........

Being Labor Day weekend, it was very hectic. Unfortunately we were not able to check in until well after 5 when check in time is 3. This was inconvenient but we did some shopping and returned. The staff was exceptional - from a very overwhelmend check-in staff to housekeeping to maintenance. All had great attitudes and were very accomodating. Breakfast […] staff very nice and met all needs. A second waffle iron was added when the line got long. We would return here primarily due to the staff. Rooms older but sufficient. Very deplorable condition inside and outside of the hotel. Needs a better maintenance all the way around. Good location, just a few minutes from the historic site.

The ac didn't work in our first room and the door handle was broken on our second room. The location was convenient to I 95.

Do not go to this hotel. The water pressure was extremely low. It was really bad. The sheets were dirty or stained, all of them. Even the towels. The room smelled bad. All arond crap hotel. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else.

This hotel SUCKED! The floor was soaked because the AC leaked we told them, but they would not move our room, instead they bring a fan to our room to try and dry the carpet. That did not work. The bathroom had mold in it and was not even big enough to turn around in. The tv would cut on and off by its self. we would have to push really hard to open […] and close the door. hotel has potential, but needs work. carpets need to be steam cleaned. House keeping used ripped sheets on the bed, and would not change them. I have to go to the front desk to get sheets. I asked for additional pillows and towels, staff removed them every day. Bathroom door needed repair. Pool was nice, but lighting needed repair, and chlorine balance […] was off. The first room the gave us was so dab I ask to be move the 2nd room wasn't much better. Th eshower had no flow the room smelled like a sewer eveytime you used the plumbing. We both came away with sore throats and runny noses. The sewer in the parking lot overflowed the morning we left. This place is a health hazar. The Manager on Duty when we checked […] in was very the others spent most of their time outside smoking. I rented a roll away bed for a friend that didn't show and whithin 2 hours returned it for credit. 2 guys working at night said they'd credit me. They never did. i spoke with the Manager on duty and he said they were aware of the credit and no one has yet to make the adjustment. At first I was told the bed would be free & then was charged 10.00 for it. then I would get credit for nit using it. All I got was a $10.00 charge and nothing for it. When I reserved the room we requested a room with a microwave and refrigerator. We did not have one in the room, when we asked the front desk clerk she said the main. man would be back that afternoon and he would bring it to us. We had food that spoiled and could not even use the food we brought to put in the frig. Will never stay there again!!!

It was a ok hotel, for the price we paid. The maid staff was unfriendly!!! The first person we meet at check in was very rude. She had long dreads and glasses!! I had asked for a room down stairs facing the pool. She gave us an upstairs away from the pool. When questioned why she did this. She said there was nothing else available. So when we left and […] went to the room we noticed several down stairs facing the pool. I called her and told her what we saw she stated, " Those rooms are already reserved!". WHAT!! I reserved mine online as well. Needless to say we DID not get the room we wanted, as for the room we did get, at the bottom of the stairs for TWO days sat TWO huge bags of trash!! We said something to a couple of maids that were in the vacinty of the bags and none of them moved them. In the meantime do to the hot sun and the food that was obviaoulsy in the bags flies began to swarm the bag. We played dodge the bugs everytime we left or entered our room. I only had one issue, I was from out of town and would like to cook my own meals, and save some money, but no microwave, and no fridge, to keep any extra food, so all meals were out, which cost me as much as the stay at the hotel. But there were great selection of great eatery’s close by.

Staff was great Older hotel and it shows, but for the price its ok. Would not be my first choice next time.

I read all the reviews before picking this hotel, but I assumed that the people must have been over exaggerating (it couldn't really be that dirty...could it). I was wrong. They really need to invest in a carpet cleaner. We had to make sure we had our shoes on anytime we walked around in the room. I spilled a little water out of out cooler and used […] a towel to dry it up; the towel turned black from absorbing the water out of the carpet. (And it is now, probably, the cleanest spot in that room.) Also, we found old tobacco and beer cans under the bed. The TV and shelf area were covered in dust. One night, they had some type of party (club) in the back room of the main building. The parking lot was packed, which gave us no where to park near our room when we returned for the evening. Also, the music was so loud that we could hear it inside our room. Also, on the day we arrived, I asked about a room with a refrigerator. I was told that if our room didn't have one to call the front desk, and they would have maintenance bring us one. Needless to say, our room didn't have one, nor did it have a phone for me to be able to call the front desk. The maintenance guy did bring us a phone and said he was working on getting us the frige. To make a long story short, they said that they were out of them and all the ones that they had were being used...however, I noticed a few rooms on the first floor that were vacant and had refrigerators in them. I'm just guessing they didn't want to have to move one to the second floor. So, staying here was a mistake. The only thing about this place that we enjoyed was their continental breakfast...it wasn't the best selection, but definitely wasn't the worst. The shower had a colapsing ceiling there were areas in the walls that looked like they were falling apart.

We walked into our room and it smelled. The water heater broke and never got that call about it. The room had bugs of all kinds. It was gross. Won't stay there again.

we arrived in the rain not much help finding the room bed had not been changed -- filthy floor so dirty our white socks got black changed rooms bed very soggy sank in the middle still dirty floor STAFF was very nice very helpful would not recommend this hotel very old and not well maintained.

We stayed for 3 days. The hotel was a big disappointment. The pillows covers were dirty when we arrived. The trash outside of the rooms never got picked up. Our rooms never got serviced. The internet was down 2 out of 3 days. The pool was closed 1 out of 3 days. My kids were disaapointed.
