beautiful hotel, spacious room, great price, clean and great location. The only problem i faced was that the air conditioning in the room was poor and ineffective (i don't know if it's a problem in every room but it was in mine).

Service was lovely, staff speaks good English. Location was very good, within walkable distance to Tiannamen Square, Qianmen shopping street and wangfujing district. Bed was hard however, but I was told this is the standard in China. Room was a bit old, but I can see they made the effort to modernise it with new wall paper and granite benchtops in the […] room. Bathroom was small but comfortable. As it was cold when I was staying, the aircon only works with the heating option. I rang and asked the reception, they told me to just open the window. Hard beds. Our particular room had poor airconditioning! Had to open windows instead! Not too many restaurants open in the early morning around the neighborhood. Front desk staff very very helpful and speak English well. Hotel, in general, looks old and outdated. Quite a bit of a walk from the nearest train stations. Breakfast and internet are extra, but reasonable. A cup of coffee or tea costs US$ 9.00 in the lobby or coffee shop.

Capital Hotel has a convenient location about one kilometer east of Tianmen square. At arrival the check-in was efficient and we got good service and attention by the personnel, they also had good english language skills. The hotel and and its rooms were neat and clean. In general, nice experience, good price for room and F&B, Fitness incomplete the equitment, the pool was out of order, staff at front desk donot speak English well. Great Room Hostess called Allen, She was very helpfull. I reserved a Twin bed room and they gave me a Jr. suite with one extra bed, even the room was nice did not comply our needs. Checking is was tipycal chinese so its ok, not problem with that but was changed from room once from a Club room to a smaller room which had many problems!!!! Checking out was the worst nightmare I've ever had in China bare in mind I've been around this country in many many cities and been here for more than 25 times and it took me over 2 hours to […] check out, no one was helpful at all, had to make several international calls to solve the problem and so on so I would never recomend this hotel. An excellent hotel in Beijing at a great price. The rooms are quite large with nice bathrooms. The beds are quite hard as is typical of China. We stayed twice over two weeks once for 5 nights and then for 4 nights in two different rooms. Both were very good. Great breakast buffet each moring with a chef making eggs to order. The location does not have a lot of outside options for dining etc. immediately nearby, but it is an easy walking distance to Forbidden City and shopping areas. The hotel is in a nice area and I never felt unsafe either inside or outside the hotel on the streets surrounding it. My email contacts with the hotel prior to our arrival were always responded to promptly. The front desk staff were always helpful and courteous, with more than adequate English to meet our needs. I would stay again and would recommend it to anyone coming to Beijing. My only disappointment was the need to pay for internet access, but I knew that when I booked the hotel. Great Hotel at reasonable rates. Very nice hotel with excellent staff. Check in was smooth with no surprises. The hotel actually upgraded me to a Deluxe Room upon check in. I strongly recommend you negotiate or book your reservation to include the breakfast voucher and if possible, internet access. Breakfast buffet is $16USD per person, with a good selection of western and local cuisine. As with most hotels in China, they charge for internet access, 20 yuan per hour, with a max rate of 100 yuan per day. It adds up quick. Trust me. Beds are typical of nearly all hotels in China. HARD! 20 minute walk to Forbidden City / Tienanmen Square. 15 minute walk to Wangfujing Street. 10 to 15 minute Taxi rides to all other attractions. Plan your taxi rides to avoid the morning / evening rush hour commutes. There is a convenience store directly across the street from the hotel for minor needs (i.e. drinks, snacks etc.). Also, there's a laundry shop next to this store that is 80% cheaper then the hotel service :) I was in Beijing during the National Day holiday. This holiday is the first 6 days of October. I strongly recommend you avoid Beijing during this week as the Chinese swarm to Beijing. Over 400,000 people visited Forbidden City during this 6 day period. You've been warned. Great stay, big clean rooms, comfortable beds, HBO on TV, wonderful staff that is fluent in English and Chinese who were also extremely helpful. I stayed in Beijing for 3 days, traveling by myself and did not make prior arrangements for touring the city, the hotel can arrange for tour guides at great rates! My boyfriend and I were very satisfied with our stay a the Capital Hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were very attentive and efficient. Check in was a breeze and they even upgraded us. The Hotel is central to most of the tourist hot spots and with in 15-20mins walking distance to each. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Wang fu jing Street, […] and Temple of Heaven. The Capital Hotel comprises two towers and common lobby. It is within walking distance of Tianenmen Square and The Forbidden City. Temple of Heaven park is a short taxi ride away. The hotel was excellent. The hotel staff spoke a good amount of english and could easily help with directions. The helped us book a acrobatic show and wrote us out directions for our cab drivers. The bellmen at the door even took the time to explain the directions further to the cab drivers. It was a great experience. Would recommend it to anyone and […] would stay there again. Service was excellent and the location was perfect. Several very good restaurants within walking distance.

Overall it's a very nice hotel, clean and convenient. Negatives are no free internet service (not even at the lobby), restaurant on site was too expensive (158 RMB for dinner) compared to surrounding area. BTW, to use the swimming pool, you'll need to wear a swim cap. You can buy one there for 20 RMB.

We took a Taxi from the airport to the hotel at a cost of around 90RMB which included the toll for the expressway. Our room which was a king bed with a view of the Forbidden City was very nice. Air condition worked great. The beds are a bit firm but not too bad. This is a great location for sight seeing for the square,Forbidden City,Mao's tomb and the […] Great Wall We rented a Taxi for the day for around 600 RMB and we went to the Great Wall to where not many tourists goes. so the experience is great ! I recomend the the front desk set this up for you. They know who the best taxi drivers are. Dont use the Mini bar. Right across the street there is a convience store to where you can buy snacks, water and soft drinks at less than 1/5 the price. Also in the evening next to the convience store are some local restaurants to where you can try some local food which is great. I recomend the skewers of meat for around 2RMB eack and the chowmein for around 12 RMB. and in between the buildings there is a local street market you might want to check out. The hotel was convenient to Tianamen Square, subway station, Wangfujing shopping, main bus station (to Great Walll) restaurants were too expensive.. None of the cab drivers seemed to know where this hotel was. None of the locals knew where it was either. Make sure you have adress and phone # of hotel written in Chinese at all times. the hotel was nice and rooms are surprising bigger than average size. Beds on hard size but comfortable. The major problem is communication, majority of staff do not understand basic english and make communication difficult, and also not very helpful.

We found the Capitol , very satisfactory , conveniently located , breakfast buffet very special , staff very helpful , and pleasant , yes i would recommend this Hotel to anyone i knew visiting Beijing Thank you

Vicinissimo a Piazza Tienanmen e alle aree di shopping più importanti. La pulizia della camera non era il massimo ma nel complesso oltre la sufficienza.

Vi havde det rigtig fint på hotellet, det er meget imponerende udsmykket og særligt receptionen er flot. Resten af hotellet er også lækkert, men der er nogle små skønhedspletter som fx døde fluer i badekaret. Ikke noget der forstyrrede helhedsindtrykket, men alligevel lidt ridser i lakken. Personalet var ikke supergode til engelsk, de kunne svare på […] basis spørgsmål, men blev hurtigt forvirret, hvis man spurgte mere ind til tingene. Det lå rigtig fint og meget nær en metrostation, man kan også gå hen til fx den himmelske freds plads og den forbudte by. Vi var rigtig glade for hotellet og det var en dejlig base på vores tur. Bra hotell med trevlig personal med hög servicekänsla. Något dyr frukost men prisvärd om man vill testa kinesiska rätter. Sammantaget mycket nöjd med vistelsen på hotellet.

家族3人で三連泊しました。歴史のあるホテルで政府関係者にも利用されているようですのでセキュリティー面では安心出来ると思います。古さが目立つ。部屋の壁紙の貼り直しが汚い、床カーペットの汚れなど。一番ショックだったのは2 日目、3日目にシャワールームの排水口からゴキブリが出て来たことです。後、部屋の空調が悪い。朝起きると喉が痛くなりました。ホテル内レストランは店舗も多く充実しておりホテル内で済ませられます。周りに何も無いだけに助かるのではと思います。サービス面は平均レベルと言った所でしょうか。悪くは無いがこれと言って突出した良さもないと言ったところでしょうか。4星の割には価格が安いので利用価値はあるかもしれません。

它位置在故宮／王府井／天壇的中間， 蠻適合第1次去北京的人。 而且價位是搜尋到的最低價位， 其它五星級真的太貴＠＠ 房型（1大雙人床或2單人床）其實並不大， 但還不錯！ ps：記得住宿當天辦一下免費的會員卡，上網可以免費，否則1小時要20rmb太貴了！！

유명 호텔이지만 서비스의 질이 낮은거 같다. 객실 디자인은 아주 비슷한 곳이 많지만 다른 곳에 비해서 기타 재반 서비스가 낮은편이다. 서비스 비용을 추가했는데 어떤 서비스 비용인지 모르겠다. 내가 받은 서비스는 방청소 밖에 없다. 서비스 비를 받는만큼 그만큼의 서비스를 받고싶다.

Dette er en lille ting, men under hotellets fakta skrives der: Mod et gebyr har gæsterne adgang til en lufthavnsbus tur retur. Det er der ikke, men udenfor står der personale der sørger for taxi og at chaufføren forstår hvad fly terminal vi skal til. Biver og datter ;-)

Ett utmärkt hotell, hög standard både på hotellet och servicen. Läget mycket bra, 10 min promenad från Himmelska Fridens Torg. Frukosten för 80 Yuan var mycket bra, med kinesisk och västerländsk mat. Stort rum, breda och bekväma sängar. Ett hotell vi gärna återvänder till.

Jag och min hustru kan starkt rekomendera detta hotellet. Hotellet har några år på nacken, och stjärnorna har väl bleknat något. Men trots det så fanns det eg inget att anmärka på. Väligt bra läge, med promenadavstånd till många sevärdheter och shopping. Taxi chaufförerna hittade alltid till hotellet. Restauranger finns överallt. Maten på hotellet är […] dyrare än ute på stan. Hotellet ligger godt placeret og lobbyen er flot. Meget få af de ansatte kan kommunikere på engelsk. Rengørring på værelset omfatter ikke støvsugning af det flere cm tykke gulvtæppe der ligger i rummet. Ej heller aftørring af støv. Møbler er gamle og slidte, og sengen er hård. Vælg et andet hotel i samme område.

El hotel es al menos de 4 estrellas de España, si no más. El único inconveniente es que los alrededores no son demasiado luminosos ni tiene mucho ambiente. Tiannamen esta relativamente cerca andando, unos quince minutos.

Stort opersonligt hotell. Saknade en terass eller uteplats. det var rent och fint och vi fick bra hjalp att boka biljetter och dylikt. Laget ar toppen med promenadavstand till himmelska fridens torg.
