Stayed here on a Monday evening for a business trip to Columbus and had a nice experience. The two people working the desk (Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning) were both very friendly and helpful. The wifi was fast and all of the channels on the TV worked. The room was very clean, and the continental breakfast had some variety and was decent. The […] location was on the edge of a skeezy neighborhood, but just a block over was a fantastic natural foods supermarket with a deli that was delicious. Not too impressed with this hotel. Spent 89.99 per night for two nights. Swimming pool was not open and dirty, asked housekeeper why we did not have a microwave and she stated that she did not know, every other room had one. Not, I will check on that for you or let me get you one. Corners of the room had drywall dust which housekeeping vacuumed up. […] Breakfast was good. Ironing board was broke, which also told the housekeeper. Thought she would have showed initiative and got a different one, but thought wrong. Overall not what I expected for the price. This was a one night stay and it worked out fine. The breakfast buffet was supposed to have hot items on it but it always seemed to be empty when I got there. Good coffee. Maybe I always caught it after a rush but I tried several different times and have the same coming up empty result. Good intent on their part ... lacking execution.

Golf buddy and I needed a place to stay near Dublin for the Memorial Tournament. Location off I-270 was ideal, and plenty of restaurants and other things close by at Polaris. Room served our needs for a one-night stay. Room was a bit dated, but services were fine and desk staff was courteous and helpful. Would stay again.

Location was great. 10 minutes from the zoo at 1/2 the cost. Clean, Breakfast was eggs and bacon, water for showers was hot and the beds were comfortable. Would stay here again.

An ok room at first, helpful staff, but they advertised really nice bedding I did not get. Had to ask for a blanket. And the last night (I stayed 3), a roach jumped on my head while I was in bed.

There was pot smoke throughout the whole hotel. There was a big drinking party going on above the lobby in the conference rooms. Loud music playing people running and stomping. Ended up leaving about ten pm without any kind of refund and went somewhere else so we could get some sleep. They didn't seem to care at all that we weren't happy. Not bad for $59. The bed was comfortable, and the room was fairly clean... However, the TV stations were not HD, which was too bad because they had the flat screens. I had a non smoking room, but my room had a VERY strong smoke smell that seemed like it was being pumped into my room somehow. The "free internet" did not work very well. This hotel was pretty nice-I thought our room was over all clean for my standards. It had a fridge(which was quite noisy when it was running),microwave and coffee maker in the room which was nice. It also had an iron and ironing board which I used and a hairdryer. I had booked a room with 2 queen beds and when I arrived around 4pm I was told by the […] girl at the front desk that they were having "issues" and wasn't sure if she had a room for me so I wasn't too happy about that but she "found" another room with a King bed which worked for me since it was just me and my daughter traveling so we shared the bed. It looked like the cleaning crew were still hard at work trying to clean rooms-we could barely get through the hallway to our room because there was trash bags and dirty towels/laundry laying everywhere! Other than those 2 issues I would recommend this hotel. It was in a quiet pretty safe location and they did have an excellent breakfast buffet with everything....waffles, bacon, sausage gravy & biscuits, eggs, bagels, etc which was a plus. The hotel was in a great area. The breakfast was as expected for a free breakfast. The front desk service was extremely poor. After leaving at 10:30 am and then asking for room service, We returned for a change of clothes around 7 and the room wasnt touched. Asked again during our second trip out, and the desk clerk said, "Well, I can give towels if […] you need them, okay? " We then returned around 11, and of course, the room hadnt been touched. I will keep it short and sweet the hotel was nice the only issue I had was a very smoky smell throughout the hotel. Our actual room did not smell smoke but the hallways and the entryway did. The rooms were clean and the free breakfast was good

The hotel staff was very helpful with a situation in the room and immediately got me a new room. The hotel was perfect for a 4 night business stay. The breakfast had a large selection with bagesl, pastries, waffles, eggs and even bacon, and several drink and fruit/yogurt choices and even cereal. I would stay here again for business. The cleaning lady did not bring the wash clothes. We called the front desk to remind them, still did not get them. The free wifi did not work with the iPhone, which was problem for us because we didn't bring the laptop. Called the front desk, didn't know how to solve the Wifi issue. The breakfast was very decent. I didn't like how the scrambled eggs […] and bacon were combined, not good for vegetarians. The blankets were very thin and didn't keep us warm through out the night. This was my second time at this hotel. Our room's door would not close completely unless locked from the inside, we had to leave, so I asked the manager to fix it because the door was open, so anybody could come in, it was never fixed. Light bulbs in the bathroom were out but one. The bed were so uncomfortable that we could not sleep at all.

We enjoyed our stay here and the cleanliness of the hotel was just about what you would expect from a hotel of this price. The only part of our stay that was extremely disappointing was the very poor food choices for breakfast. Very few (if any) nutritious options, most were high fat, high processed, sugar loaded items like butter saturated pastries, […] sausage gravy, sugary cereals, etc. I am not sure there was a vegetable to be seen the whole time we were there! We are in Columbus each October for a few days and this is the best of the hotels we have stayed at. Although it is a bit off the path, once you locate it the stay was perfect for us. The staff was wonderful, the beds were quite comfortable, the morning breakfast was excellent as well.
