The room is a bit small. The location is close to the Great Portland tube station which is convenient but not close to any attraction. The hotel amenities are ok but you can ask for things that you forgot. The only negative experience with them is the after service. We forgot a pair of glasses and called to see if they found it for three days in the […] roll. They said they would return the call whether it has been found, but they never called back. We called again and again and they told us the same thing. They said to leave the matter with them and they would find out, but never. We didn't expect that we would get the glasses back but if they didn't have it, they could just tell us. We were overall happy with the price/location of this hotel. The staff were helpful. If we had to mark it down a little it would be for the size of the room, as it was quite small, but that really wasn't a concern for us as we didn't spend a lot of time in our room anyway. Great location for this hotel. The first room was located close to the service lift on the 6th floor. By 10pm we'd had enough of the sound and requested a room change. The person who came to investigate first tried to convince me that there was no lift close, but unfortunately for him the door to the service lift was left open so I knew this wasn't […] true. I don't know how anyone could sleep through the sound of the lift. The new room was better even though it was only a few doors down. Rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were helpful and friendly. We Have stayed in this hotel twice previously the last time was around 12 years ago. It is ideally located a short distance from Market Square and has a colourful history. The rooms are well appointed and the staff are friendly and helpful.The breakfasts are excellent, however, there are no evening dining facilities except for groups and by special […] arrangement. Nonetheless, the centre boasts hundreds of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets and we ate/drank very well for what we consider to be reasonable prices. Overall, Brugges is a fantastic destination with lots to see and do. This excellent hotel places you in the hub of the city with easy access to all there is to see. PS. Was staying over NYE and the bedside lights didn't work, no fan in the bathroom so the room got very muggy when in the shower and the price for wifi and breakfast is just silly! We got a special rate but I would not pay what they usually ask a night! Great location however being walking distance to Oxford st and some good restaurants!

Hotel was easy to find, the room was comfortable and the staff friendly. It's a great location for stations/tube with local pubs and cafes nearby and nice walk to London zoo! Despite being near a busy road it was actually quite quiet. Perfect for a London break!

Great location-5 minute walk to Oxford St. Tube station 5 mins away by foot. Standard holiday inn type accommodation. Clean and reasonable layout and size. Only negative- cost of internet access, over the top

Great location. Helpful staff, with Cris on concierge desk quietly efficient and able to give good directions. Small room but adequate for the time we actually spent in the room. Clean and comfortable. Would stay here again although not what I would call 4 star.

At dicounted price paid the room was OK. The 'Award winning breakfas't was a little disappointing as they kept running out of items. the hotel was clean and well kept, although the rooms were a little small. If I had paid the full room rate I would have been disappointed

Whilst the Hotel is nothing to look at from the outside, I find the staff are on the whole very good indeed. Check in is always very efficient and staff at all levels are friendly. The rooms are not large but are well maintained and comfortable. The air conditioning is good and allows you to maintain a pleasant room temperature, the beds were very good […] and there is a choice of pillows. TV, Minibar etc are all available. The Bathrooms are not huge, but have everything you need and ours was spotlessly clean. I like the location - it's an easy walk to Oxford St - Regents Park, Tottenham Court Road, Great Portland St - there is good tube and Bus access and there are plenty of restaurants, bars, cafe's locally so you don't have to go far if you prefer to stay close. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to Regents Park. It uis easy to reach Oxford St., and Regent St by local buses. It is also a short walk to Great Portland St. Underground station for easy access to St.Pancras International and other mainline stations. The hotel facilities are very good, and the surrounding area is pleasant.

Quiet location near Regent Park. The room was clean and up to date, and included a mini bar fridge with reasonable prices. Downside for me, was no workout facility on-site. We found a nice restaurant close by. A little pricey, but decent value compared to nearby hotels. Air conditioning worked great!

The reception staff were more miserable than me after my delayed journey into London, but the hotel and room were very clean and comfortable.

Clean hotel in a quiet neighborhood about 3/4 mile from Oxford Circus. The rooms were smallish, but we were most disappointed that internet access cost £5-/hr, even with an "executive" room. I can understand that at a discount hotel but these are not discount prices. First room smelled of cigarette smoke, so we were moved, second room was noisy but […] clean. Very brief stay but had all the basic amenities one would need. No free WiFi was disappointing and processing my reservation appeared to be problematic. They kept trying to charge me and I had to remind them my room was already paid for.

Compared to some I've stayed in, in London, this was a great hotel. Clean and quiet which is most important to me! Yes, there are scuffs on the skirting boards, but everything else was great!

Hotel very welcoming & staff courteous at breakfast & dinner. Room clean & quiet. Met all the expectations for a Holiday Inn, excellent value & good location for bus routes to Trafalgar Square etc. Breakfast quite expensive but provided a wide variety of choice.

Not a bad hotel. At first I thought the location was the best, however it was located close to charlotte street, which had a lot of nice restaurants and it wasn't far from Oxford street if you didn't mind a little walk. If you catch the underground or like walking, I would recommend this hotel.

Overall, we had a nice stay. Everything was clean and comfortable, and while the room was small, it was still more spacious than I'd expected for London. The location was near a tube stop, and within a short distance of some great restaurants. Some of the staff were super helpful and nice, some were not so much (trying to talk us into letting them order […] us a 43 GBP cab, rather than taking the tube for 5 GPB didn't go over so well with me). But no one was rude and we were overall quite pleased. Our only complaint, and I'm sure this would be true of many London hotels, was that there were none of the extras we'd experienced elsewhere in the UK... you pay for internet, there is no complimentary tea, and expect that breakfast there will be 4X the cost that it would be at a restaurant a few yards away.
