I lived in Alpharetta for 6 years and we go back because my 13 year old daughter was born at Northside Hospital. We stayed here before in 2008. I don't think they have updated it since then! The door looked like somebody tried to break it in, the beds where hard as rocks and the room was dirty. Their obviously having crime issues. The location of the hotel allowed me to walk to my conference in the Cobb Galleria Centre and was also close to many dining and shopping options. Parking was easily accessible. I stayed here for 5 nights while attending a show at the nearby Cobb Galleria Center. The staff was great, and my room was in good shape. It was nice to be able to shut off the bedroom from the living room because that eliminated hearing any hallway noise at night. Overall one of the nicer hotels I've stayed in for the price. The service was excellent the entire weekend. The hotel was clean however the hallway smelled. There was a guest on my floor with a dog and you could tell when he had been in the hallway. when we got to the hotel, there was only one person working at the desk, and it took us a long time to check in. it was hard to figure out the way to get the elevator moving. I was holding my son and had to run back to the desk twice and the staff were indifferent. when we got into our room, the coffee machine was broken. I tried to call guest service, […] and waited for literally 20 minutes for someone to answer. i made 2 phone calls using the phone in our room to my husband who were getting food from PF Chang's near by, the next day they charged me 20 dollars for altogether less than 10 minutes call. "Perfect Place to Stay"
From the time of my arrival until my checkout; I was treated as an important and valued customer. The hotel was very nice; very clean and I felt safer than I've felt at a hotel in years. "horrible stay"
I was staying in October, so overnight it got unbearably hot in the upper level room - so bad that I was sweating and unable to sleep - the staff had no solution for me other than moving my room at 3AM! They couldn't even get me a fan since "they were locked up and maintenance was home". It was awful and I won't stay there again.
