"Steady ,consistent"
I have stayed at this motel several times. It is always consistently acceptable. Budget conscience and an adequate breakfast . Pets accepted! Pleasant
The Days Inn in Ridgeland, SC has the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. One of their staff tried to walk into my room before check out time and the manager did nothing about it and basically told me I was a liar and dreamt the whole thing!
"get what you pay for"
the room was what I thought is was going to be considering the deal I got. Nothing struck me as horrible but nothing was great . However, the walls were the brightness shade of yellow i have ever seen in a room. It almost glowed in the dark. it was withing walking distance to several restaurants which was a plus.

"DO NOT STAY HERE"
This hotel was disgusting! After traveling for over 7 hours, we checked in only to discover lots of pet hair and dried blood between the sheets at the head of the bed and on the pillow. Out of courtesy, we changed rooms but asked to view the room before taking up our bags. Same result, except there were many long human hairs between the sheets. We refused […] to stay and decided to continue driving until we reached another larger chain hotel. Did I mention it was after midnight before we checked in to Days Inn? "Second room was good."
The motel was convenient for a stopover on our way north on I-95. One of the people in our group is an entomologist and checked our room for bed bugs as soon as we got there. He found several under each bed. The workers in the office seemed surprised (whether they actually were or not, I don't know) and gave us a different room. This one checked out […] bug-free and we were generally satisfied with the place for the price we paid. The breakfast was adequate and the make-your-own waffles were a plus. I would consider staying here again but would definitely check under the mattresses. Very comfortable for the one night passing through to Florida.
The hotel was clean, but in very poor shape. The furniture was old and beat-up. The carpet coming apart from the floor board. The linens very sparce and thin, and the pillows old and without shape. The continental breakfast was the worst we have ever experienced and we left to go eat someplace else. "Not worth the lower price."
We had to have our room key recharged every time we returned to our room. It was not because we had it in with our credit cards. The hot water could only be turned on to a certain amount. The showers were not cold but it was not very great not being able to take a nice hot shower and be able to control how hot I wanted it to be. The second morning we […] had new coffee for the coffee pot but no cups to drink out of. We had to be up at 4 in the morning for our destination and it would have been nice but the water seemed to have an orangish tinge to it and made the coffee taste bad anyway. Maybe they have very old pipes or something. "Nice place"
Comfortable beds & pillows. Friendly staff, great location at a great price. Only problem was the heater was as loud as a 747; we had to turn it off.
"Ridgeland, SC Days Inn - Address Incorrect"
The address on the site is incorrect, there couldn't possibly be a hotel at that address. We looked for it based on Google directions and then turned and drove a few miles in the opposite direction. We found a Days Inn but assumed the town had 2, only to be told that the hotel had changed locations. Be prepared - the water (drinking water, too) for […] the TOWN is BROWN. We thought it was just the hotel but the restaurant next door served us brown water over brown ice...I thought it might have been ginger ale at first! Hotel was not very clean.. we stay 3 nights and each night night we had go the office and get our room key reactived because it would not work. When you stay more than one night they have to rekey the card very inconvient. I would not stay there again.
Hotel room room had a small odor. Bed's were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was small, but more than just bread products.

"Comfortable bed, decent breakfast, shabby and dirty room"
In booking this hotel, all we wanted was a clean, comfortable place to shower and sleep with some kind of breakfast in the morning. This Days Inn provided two out of three. We slept well and the breakfast bar was adequately stocked for us to fill our bellies before finishing our long drive home. If it wasn't for how dirty the room was, we would stay […] here again. For the price, we weren't put out by the shabbiness. The broken towel bar and toilet paper holder, the missing sink stopper, the corroded and mismatched sink faucets, and the chipped, scratched and stained mirror, sink and counter top weren't deal breakers. What was a deal breaker for us was the grimy hair dryer cord, the strange black stuff on the covers of the disposable cups, the build up of dust in the corner of the vanity where the cups were sitting, the stained bedding, the black mold around the door in the bathroom, and the lack of starchy cleanness of the bed linens that usually indicated freshly laundered sheets. The topper was the oily phone receiver and the grease and crease on the notepad by the phone. We were too tired and too cheap to go somewhere else and fortunately we didn't wind up with any rashes or infestations as a result of using the facilities at this hotel.
