County Inn is close to 101 freeway, but if you don't have car, the closest bus stop is 0.5 mile away. My room was spacious and comfy, had all the necessary equipment and parking space right behind the door. Since it's close to the freeway you can actually hear traffic while you're inside but it's not like if you're on airport runway ;-) Between Inn buildings there's a swimming pool and garden with blooming trees, so window view is rather pleasant. If I'm in Mountain View again it's likely that I'll choose County Inn again.

Miły motel - wszystkie pokoje mają wejście od zewnątrz, piętrowy, trzeba bagaże dźwigać po schodach. Pokoje duże, czyste, klimatyzacja i możliwość otwarcia okna. Jedyny hotel w którym prysznic nie był przytwierdzony do ściany. Spokojna okolica, hotel bezpośrednio przy ulicy,ale cichy. OK na jedną dwie noce.

Everything was great, currently going thru a remodel, so rooms are very clean and fresh. Very convenient for San Jose, and only 1 hr drive to parking garage across from Pier 39 in S.F. We had a 2 bedroom on the second floor, overlooking the pool, and the room was very quiet, never heard anyone next to us or above, and never heard any slammed doors or […] people in the hall way. What really makes this place stand-out though is the staff - everyone from the check-in desk, to housekeeping, to those that set up breakfast. Absolutely everyone we saw had a big smile and a hello for you, and always asked if they could do anything for you. This was especially true of the breakfast crew, they were unbelievable, so friendly and helpful. Other hotels should send thier staff and workers here to see how a motel should be run. My husband & I plus our four grown children took our annual family vacation in the Bay Area. Stayed in a 2 bdrm suite and it was the best overall place! Just a 45-60 min drive into San Francisco. Close to San Jose, Oakland, Muir Woods, Stanford Univ.(our alma mater!), the Great Mall, etc. It was unanimous: this hotel was by far the best and we've stayed […] in many hotels! Very clean, AWESOME breakfasts and dinners, very quiet, laundry rooms, fitness center, business center, friendly/nelpful staff,comfortable beds, a flat screen in every room...great deal! Our family stayed at the Marriott Resident's Inn near the Great America Amusement Park. We rented 4 rooms to accomodate our large family. It was the perfect location, near the venue and we had the convenience of being able to prepare our own meals. The rooms were comfortable. The price was good and it included a hot breakfast. "Nice stay, almost like home"
I've always liked the home comfort of Residence Inn stays. Lots of room to relax and even enjoy a small meal with all amenities included. Bed is very comfortable, and accessability of various features is easy. They are more expensive than the average motel room, but you are afforded a much more home like environment.
