Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco - Union Square - San Francisco

I was very impressed with the staff and how professional everyone was. The hotel manager Daniel J. was extremely kind and made sure my stay was comfortable. The hotel is very clean, and modern. The beds are very comfortable, and the coffee maker in the room is a very nice touch. There is coffee and continental breakfast in the lobby.

Highly recommend!

Having read some of the negative reviews about the service and friendliness of the staff, I was pleasantly surprised to find that both qualities were up to par for a hotel of this caliber. Extremely friendly staff. Our room was a nice size and comfortable - overlooking the city. It was a corner unit away from the noise of the hall. Unfortunately the room shared a pass through door with the next room. I believe the three rooms in our corner all shared pass through doors. The 55 Parc Windham San Francisco Union Square hotel was conveniently located, just a block from BART, the Powell Street cable cars, and bus lines. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean, and we had a wonderful stay there.

I never actually stayed at the Parc 55 before, but I visted there quite often as it was the layover hotel for visiting flight crewmembers that I knew. a clean room is #1 to me; and our room was super clean. the location is great - it is right by union square without being right in the mix of the craziness.

I arrived in the afternoon around 2:15 to find there were no rooms ready - I was directed to go to the hotel restaurant to wait until they called me (hopefully around 3:00) The restaurant wasn't serving their lunch menu anymore and when asked why they told me they were in the transition time between lunch and dinner......very frustrating start to the […] hotel stay. It did get better and the room they finally got me in was a corner room with windows everywhere....comfy bed - nice size bathroom. We spent three nights at the Parc 55, and we were very satisfied with the room and the service. The only surprise was the price to park the car at the hotel. Parking in San Francisco is expensive, but this was more than expected. I guess it's the price you pay for the great location.

I stayed at the Parc55 San Francisco on two separate occasions, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I had a Club Level King room both times, on the 28th and 29th floors. Fabulous views from both rooms, especially the City view. Breakfast was included too!

Don't give many perfect scores but this place is great. Much more affordable on the weekends than the week days due to the amount of business travel they do during the week. The parking at $48 is ridiculous but I usually can get away without a car because there is a BART station right outside the door.

Its a beautiful hotel but very expensive. THe location is convenient but not great having so many homeless around. I was surprised by how many people would come up to you asking for money or just harrassing you. Our room was nice and the view was beautiful but not sure it was worth the price.

The hotel and staff were great. Close to shopping and dining. Operator that took reservation assured us that parking was complimentary if not full. Hotel staff advised that this was not the case and that they could not waive fee but upgraded our room which was nice. Well located. Hotel is very modern and classy. Great service. Would definitely stay again.

I reserved a shuttle to the Oakland Airport and I was assured to get to the airport by a certain time with no other pick ups. There were actually three pick ups and I was literally three minutes from missing my flight.

The hotel was walking distance to everything. The mall (westfield), bars and restaurants. There's also a burger king right across the street that closes pretty late, i think midnight. The only thing I would say that I didnt like about the room was the walls were a little thin. I could hear the neighbors talking and their shower. But overall the room […] was clean. Great Hotel was very satisfied, Great People, Great Bar. Great weekend!

Bed was horrible,pillows were flat, ordered room service and while the food was fine we wanted a pot of hot water for tea . Which we had brought with us .. the tea tasted funny and when we opened the pot it smelled like a crap .. My husband and I were visiting SF for an impromtu weekend away. We were very pleased with the quality of this property! And, the lovely front desk clerk upgraded us to a room on the 31st floor with a breathtaking view of the city and the bay. Location is wonderful. The Parc 55 Wyndam is a lovely modern hotel which is centrally located just off Market Street and across the street from a fantastic mall (several anchor stores). I always stay here for one night just before Christmas because I can shop and easily return to my room with my packages, I can have a cocktail and enjoy a good meal at the on-site restaurant, […] and the rooms are large and comfortable. The only drawback for this hotel is its location. Although it is very near Union Square, the cable cars, and many other venues, it is also located in the Tenderloin District, and personal safety, especially for women and the elderly, might be compromised, if these folks decide to walk from the hotel to the cable cars or to Union Square, However, even with this one particular drawback, the Parc 55 usually offers great rooms at a very competitive price. I love staying at this hotel. The location is fantastic, walking distance to all shops and restaurants. The only problem I have is the price goes up every time I book this hotel. It started out at a fantastic price for location and hotel but it has gone up $20 a night each time I book a new reservation.

Hotel was very nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only draw back was the valet parking was very expensive for the hotel guest.

soom smells have bad odor many floors have bad odor unchanged light bulbs damaged bathroom door - intefgeres with floor disgustingly dirty lamp shades. unclean tables - water marks still shown. need i say more...? My first visit was a "4-star" experience. The next 3 were 3-star then 2 star. I would not rate this hotel beyond 3 stars.

Great location to all the downtown shopping and restaurants. Easy walking distance from the Downtown Mall on Market (Nordstrom, etc.). Stayed here a couple of weekends before xmas and had a great time shopping, dining, lookie-looing, and walking around. Got us in the holiday spirit. Very nice.

Stayed here a week ago and had a good stay. Everyone is very helpful, and the restaruant is very good, both for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast service was a bit slow, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time if you're having a full breakfast and you're not getting the buffet. I found the bed a bit firm and pillows a bit soft (down pillows), but overall […] the room was very comfortable, and I'm sure they'd give you more supportive pillows if you request, or if you are allergic. Nice hotel very modern look. Horrible valet! Lost my luggage and Ruben the attendant glared at me the whole time because they had no idea where my bags were. So if you like to feel harassed every time you enter/leave the hotel- enjoy!

The staff was amazing, and the view from my room was beautiful. Next time I'm visiting SF, I will stay at the Parc 55.

Very nice hotel. Close to everything in Union Square. Can't wait to go back!

What can I say? Prestigious building, beautiful view of Union Square from large windows, everything is in proper order, staff is wonderful and accommodating, prices are reasonable, nestled in the heart of SF. Only one issue which can be avoided: The location is mighty tricky so either know how to drive in SF or make sure you have some sort of navigation […] system. Nice hotel, but not memorable. Cons; there is no mini bar in the room, the sheets are not great, the furnishing are not the most practical. Pros; good rate, very convenient location to BART, Union Square and shopping. I was great for an overnight stay in the City

I love this hotel, I truly do. I've stayed here on many occasions. Decided to upgrade to the Club Floors figuring less noise and bigger room. The room was tinier than the normal rooms and actually seemed a bit older in terms of furnishings/bathroom and had poor lighting. Also, the noise for the sportsbar down the street was less than magically as it […] reached the 27th floor. The bathrobes were a nice touch. Overall I love this hotel, but would highly recommend just taking a normal room in the future. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The location second to none. And the concierge is impeccable. Shampoo and conditioner were awful; my daughter and I couldn't do anything with our hair after using them. The pizza we ordered through room service tasted horrible and was extremely overpriced. It had some weird pieces of cheese on the top that seemed to be uncooked and we had to scrape it off and just eat the crust. Almost $40- for some crust and […] two sodas! The window had not been cleaned and the people who stayed in our room before we did had written their names on the window. It visibly said ROSIE. I felt the room was unclean. Not worth the money. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Disappointed that we paid so much for it! Ambulances could be heard all night. Had to use the earplugs they provided (should've been a clue!) both nights! No fan in bathroom, so mirrors were foggy FOREVER after showering. Had to request toilet paper because we didn't have any. We had an amazing time as we always do. The staff and the room itself are always amazing.

They charged us twice for two bottles of water $9.77... when actually my cousin had only brought one bottle of water which he paid for at the time, but they charged again on my credit card not for one bottle but two..and their parking is $55.00 a night and the beds are not comfortable at all.. very hard!!

Very comfortable room and a great location for Union Square.

Everything kosted at the hotel. You had to pay even to look at the TV. They didn´t even have free WFI..
