We stayed in Sunnyvale due to a softball tournament at Twin Creeks and would stay here again. Perfect location to the complex (about 1/2 mile away) and very accomodating. The staff was very friendly and we didn't have any problems. Again, I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Good hotel with excellent facilities and rooms in Silicon Valley.

For the money I didn't think it was worth it. I have stayed in Holiday Inn Expresses which were comparable or even better and didn't pay as much. It was just plain and kind of boring, not many nice touches.

The place was hard to find at night. Conceierge could not help over the phone. Room was spacious and clean. Hallway and the room smelled like old cigarette smoke. Breakfast was great.

Nice ambience, complimentary breakfast was cold most days, restaurant and bar closed Friday and Saturday and the nearest walking distance shop is limited - not ideal if you want to stay in!

Great price, clean and well maintained. The full complementary breakfast is a huge plus!

Convenient location for hoping on the freeways. Great breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Terrific desk/chair/internet for working. They excelled in these areas that matter to me. Costs fluctuate by weekday but could not beat the average price over a week for what you got.

The only thing that sucked was the in room fridge didnt work, other then that and the fan In the bathroom the hotel was perfect. I will be staying there everytime i visit the bay area. The breakfast was awesome, the only thing is you need a meal ticket, and they wanted one for my 1 yr old daughter and the front desk didnt give us enough tickets upon […] check in. We booked a weekend here so we could spend New Year's in San Francisco. Most of the hotels closer to the city were speedy so this price was just perfect. The drive was a little far but we didn't mind too much for the quality of the hotel. There was an awesome full breakfast in the morning complete with waffle maker, bacon, eggs, juice, and my favorite […] part--fresh salsa. You had your regular coffees and teas. The room was spic and span and roomy for the two of us. I was happy there was a refrigerator as well because we kept out leftovers in there. It's been totally remodeled and is basically totally new. Great place to stay

We selected this hotel because it's close to our son's house. We were pleased with the service and the room. There was a problem initially with the room but when I brought it to the attention of the manager, he took care of the problem.

Upon first checking in, I asked to change from a queen to a king room and was given a room that had leftover food and trash from a previous guest. I called the front desk and was immediately brought up a key for a different room which was clean and presentable. Staff was very apologetic about the condition of the first room. Everything was great except for the nice looking but very low quality breakfast and being far from SF.

I travel a lot, and this is one of the best places I've stayed... and one of the best prices too. Very large rooms (larger than most suites), quiet, very friendly staff, free breakfast in the morning and free pizza in the evening (a trial offer, so it might not still be happening), free internet, free parking... what's not to like? We found our room large and comfortable for our family of 3. There was enough space for our many bags. The decoration was fine. Bed was comfortable. Staff friendly. The location (in a business park) was within close walking distance of a large natural park, and this was great for our young daughter. Breakfast buffet was copious and good. On the downside […] - the room was lacking in some amenities - bedside table only on one side. A fridge (good), but no minibar in it (bummer). Condensation on the double windows - I guess due to an uninsulated aluminum window frame. The one real problem was the bathroom. Small shower and toilet room, with no window and no fan?? What were they thinking? Evident mold problems on the ceiling had been bleached, but stains remained. Chrome fixtures, door hinges, etc were actually visibly rusting? The smiles of staff made it lovely!! The location could be better, then again its san jose, not Hawaii. I have absolutely no complaints! Hotel and bedroom is clean. Staff takes pride here! Free parking and many stalls. Safe. Well secured. Close to freeway access. The breakfast buffet was simply the best! The buffet meats changed daily, which made us […] very happy. We requested an upgraded King room and it was really nice. The room was fairly spacious rather than crammed like most rooms at this price. I would say the only negative to the actual hotel was the outdated carpet in the hallways that make it smell a little musty. This hotel is well hidden, but not lack of quality. The front desk service is excellent, the room is clean and spacious with plasma tv, bed is comfortable, the only thing make me disappointed is the pillows, they are so flat when laid my head on it, may need to upgrade to a better, firmer ones. One of the main reasons we picked this hotel was it's free breakfast., and a restaurant in hotel. When traveling, I don't want to have to spend extra time, money on finding somewhere else to eat. We were told breakfast went to 10:30 a.m. when we checked in. So, we were up, but went down for breakfast at 10. Then, we were told breakfast ended at 10:30 […] on WEEKENDS. Not only that, but the restaurant was closed on December 22nd... the week BEFORE Christmas. We would have never chosen to stay there if we had known. The hotel staff was pleasant but didn't offer to compensate us for having to shell out extra money (and time) to find food. I was appalled that they didn't offer to reduce our rate for the inconvenience. They did offer to let us have some crackers from their store (really???) the room was pretty and appeared clean. However, the beds were UNCOMFORTABLY soft. We both woke up aching all over. In addition, I noticed little red dots that looked like little bloodspecks on my neck, chest, arms... close together in little lines. Started itching a few days later. Conveniently located with good sized rooms and friendly staff.

In general, we were very satisfied with almost everything about the hotel. The front desk was quick. The room was roomy and very new looking. My only complaint about the room was that for 3 adults, there were only 3 tiny drawers for our non-hangable clothes. The buffet breakfast was an amazing surprise, with multiple choices that changed each day. Servers […] went around the dining room to refill juice glasses and take away the dirty dishes. This hotel was pretty comfortable and close to freeways 237 and 101. The breakfast was awesome.

I have stayed here several times and have been very happy each time. The breakfast is tasty and varied. The pool is heated. The business center is convenient. The staff is friendly. Rooms facing the highway can be noisy, so I recommend getting rooms facing the courtyard.

I selected this Sunnyvale hotel as it is adjacent to my business client. With original skepticism I am now a fan of the hotel. Why? Service. The staff is incredible and they go out of their way to accommodate you. Service plus great attitudes. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is incredible! A real surprise. The hotel is in an office park and caters to business customers. I thought this would be a good quite location for our over night stay after attending a wedding Saturday afternoon. WRONG! After 9 pm, teenagers began tromping up and down the hallways and a group of adults set up in the the courtyard with their BBQ grill and ice chest and loudly talked […] and guffawed until after midnight. I complained to the front desk about the teenagers and that stopped, but even after complaining to the front desk twice, the party in the courtyard continued even though we saw staff approach the group twice. They seemed unable to make the group be quite. The primary purpose of staying at a motel for me is to sleep. If the staff can not provide conditions appropriate for sleep they have failed their primary mission and therefore I can not recommend this motel. It is pretty nice and has a very good comp breakfast, but if you want to take a chance staying here, get a room facing the outside because the staff can't keep the stop noisy guests from disturbing others. Room cleanliness and completeness (fridge and microwave) were excellent. However, the staff had a strange lack of concern for maintenance. After reporting that the sink was clogged with water draining to the floor, and hot water handle broken, nothing was done in 24 hours. Housekeeping had to have noticed that, as well.

Let me clarify what I believe is appropriate for rating a hotel stay on, and what is not. All the questions asked by Hotels.com are appropriate, because they apply to the hotel. If the breakfast is good and free, that is a plus, but people shouldn't ding the hotel because they expected a $10 breakfast for free, and the eggs didn't meet their desires […] (just go out to eat!). Also, if you expect a coffee shop or Macy's within walking distance, check this in advance, prior to making the reservation. Blaming the hotel for their location doesn't make much sense, because you chose the hotel. Country Inn gets high marks from me in all the areas typically looked at. However, I gave it a lower overall score because of one important aspect which potential customers need to be aware of. The hotel is located next to a sports complex and, especially on weekends, many of the customers are athletes there for an event. So if you are staying on a Friday or Saturday night, expect those athletes to party late and loud. Just standing in the lobby, waiting to check in, I saw 3 or 4 groups coming back from their games, young guys with that "we won!" look on their faces, talking excitedly. Asked the clerk to put me in a quiet area of the hotel because I needed to be up early, but it didn't help, and I heard door slams and talking 'til 2am. Our weekend stay was surprisingly pleasant at this hotel. It was clean, nice, and quiet. Kids loved the pool which was heated and clean. Breakfast buffet was welcoming and has the standards that you'd expect. Only thing that was interesting was the hotel is situated around tech companies (instead of shopping centers/restaurants) but I actually like […] this better. Staff was courteous and friendly. Internet was superb (there are like 10 free access points you can connect to). This is the best internet experience I've ever had. I recently stayed at a higher chain hotel, paid double the price, and internet sux big time (what's life w/o internet? lol) Only minor negative thing I would say is the TV can be upgraded to LCD but this was not important. this was a nice location in a very quiet business park. there is free hot breakfast, which was a nice plus. rooms were comfortable and clean albeit noisy (hallway noise is pretty loud). we were also in a room next to the pool, so it was noisy. however it was a holiday weekend, so that was a given. 280 freeway very close. service was excellent, staff […] friendly. we are definitely returning to this location in the future when we visit. This hotel had very comfortable beds and room was very nice and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was great, eggs, sausage, potatoes, fruit, oatmeal and waffles. A lot to choose from and very good.

My family and I spent a couple of days here to visit California's Great America. I'm very pleased to say that the room was clean & comfortable, the swimming pool well maintained and the staff was pleasant. What we were very happy with was the free internet access and breakfast buffet. It is rare to have a full breakfast buffet included in the room […] package for an extremely reasonable price, especially in the Bay Area. I really felt like the staff was willing to go the extra mile for us. We had early morning meetings on the weekend and they made sure breakfast was ready to go a little earlier than thier normal weekend time. They were all so frindly.
