A neighbourhood gem of Portland with a magnificent lobby and amenities. Very dog-friendly and overall was a great stay. Only nuance was the older windows which permit street sounds to carry into the room, even when closed. Overall we did enjoy the Benson, got a last minute deal through Hotel.com. It is an old hotel, but a classic one, reminds me of an old New York grandiose hotel. The location is excellent and the staff are super friendly. We had a room without a view, so noise was not a problem. The rooms are kind of small but we managed to fit our 2 bikes in the room […] and really how much time are you spending in the room. "very petfriendly"
