The hotel in Durham just what we needed because of the breakfast, which saved us time in the morning.Ice machine did not work on the third floor.that wood take a trip to the first floor.It was a good stay.

"Medical Center Easy"
This motel has large medical clientele. We were there on some cold days and room was warm and comfortable. Staff is very attentive to maintenance. The front desk staff is professional and friendly. They are very welcoming of people with disabilities. It is a great place for anyone coming to Duke or VA Medical Center.

"Quiet and safe, but a little pricey"
I picked this hotel for a quick stayover while on a road trip; came in late night and left early morning. I was looking for a place that was quiet and safe, and it met both of those requirements. My only complaint was that it was a little pricey for what you get; it was clean but the building is very old and needs some refurbing. Close to Duke Hospital with a Cracker Barrel next door for reasonably priced meals. Decent continental breakfast included, as well as WiFi and a small refrigerator to keep the wine chilled. Everything a patient's family could need.
"stay away at all costs"
this is the worst hotel ever. the staff is rude, the rooms look like a pay by the hour hotel, it is in a high crime area, they demand you leave a credit card on file because they are worried you might steal their alarm clock. the rooms are disgusting. stay away at all cost.
"convenient location"
We needed a hotel close to Cameron Indoor.Stadium after the Duke basketball game. It was convenient for our needs. The night staff was very nice. Could use some updating. Our non smoking room smelled like smoke.

"Quality on Hillsbourgh rd Durham"
We enjoyed our stay here . rooms were clean and fresh. close to most of Durham. when I asked about nearby places to see and resturants the staff were helpful with internet directions,maps ect. "Good Location - Good Hotel"
Keep in mind the class of hotel this is - it isn't the Hilton you know? This was a pretty well maintained older hotel. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. They are pet friendly which was important to me. Sometimes pet friendly casues some hotels to not be as well maintained. This one was VERY good. We reserved 2 rooms. When we arrived, the temp outside was over 100 and the air conditioning was not working in one room. When we asked to be moved to another, we were told that there were none available (?) and that it would be fixed the next day. It was not. On the third day we were moved to another room, but to make 2 trips downstairs to get the […] key cards to work. On 2 of the days we were there, the rooms were cleaned in the morning, but there were no towels until almost dinnertime..they ran out. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating The room was clean and comfortable. It is less than ten minutes to the Durham Bulls stadium.

"good bed and linens but"
noisy room, terrible breakfast (all food very processed except the milk and Raisin Bran, no fresh fruit). Cheap construction showing big time, towel rack fell off wall.

"Quality Inn and Suites 8 min from downtown Durham"
It was very nice and I loved the atmosphere in the lobby. I had trouble with the wi-fi working in my room, and the only place I could get on the internet was directly in front of the window. Other than that it was a good "one-night-stay" kind of place.

The room had a light bulb burned out; I informed the desk clerk who said they'd change it. I came back later in day and it was not changed. I didn't bother asking again. Also the sink stopper had no handle at top of plunger handle and could not be stopped (to fill sink with water). "Great location...average stay"
I always stay in this hotel when I visit Duke University. It is located within a mile or less of the Stadium-and the neighborhood is decent. Overall stay is not bad. If you are vacationing, you might want to go elsewhere, but for a quick night or two stay, it's not too bad. "A little sketchy"
its not in a bad area, but there were some cleanliness issues - our room was dank and musty, and the AC did not seem to improve it much. There were cigarette butts surrounding the pool area, and our room had not been scrubbed for a while - we skipped the showers and tried to get out of there as quickly as possible. it was pretty icky.

Rooms are clean and nice. Only issue was the first room had a do not disturb sign on the door and the TV was on. Hotel staff promptly gave me a new room.

"Overall good trip"
The pool was open late, which is great for road warriors caught bt construction! The only concern is that they still take full imprints (for 'incidentals') of credit cards and leave the cards on file. Who knows what happens after you leave. As a victim of identity theft / credit card fraud I voiced my concern for the practice. I was told this is a company […] policy, but don't know if that's this hotel only or Quality Inns overall. I don't know because the "Manager on Duty" was not there at all during my stay. Fore-warned is fore-armed. Take cash. If someone from Quality Inns is reading this, Please review this policy! "Convenient and adequate"
not a five star resort, but it's right off the highway, so it was perfect for us as we passed through town. they had a decent continental breakfast in the morning as well.

"A good one night stay...."
We reached the hotel before check in time and they were more than accommodating and found us a room right away. When we first opened the door to our room, there was a slight must smell, but nothing unbearable. The room was a little unclean (again if you are a germ freak...not for you. The pool area was nice,there were two groups of people at the pool […] that were not hotel guest and in one case...they were very rude to the surrounding guests.
