The hotel property was beautiful. The food at the pool bars and the Palms Restaurant was good. You might want to avoid Japengo -- I found the setting is a little depressing. Also, ask for help from a beach attendant when selecting a hut at the beach - there is a lot of confusion surrounding the reservations, etc. I saw several arguments between guests […] trying to claim their spots. Ask the front desk for advice on this when you check in. Anyway, the beach and the hotel has a luxurious feel and look. The staff was very nice and friendly. Went for rest and relaxation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was good, even room service. Enjoyed the casino, very friendly and fun dealers. We'll be back only next time the family will go with us

Wonderful property and great service. Has everything from a juice bar to complimentary gym to casino. They just opened a spa. I would recommend getting the breakfast buffet as part of your package--a large variety and good hours....open until 11:30am for those who want to sleep in! Seems like a great place for a family vacation. ***ONLY DRAWBACK (AND […] A MAJOR TIP): In order to reserve a beach hut or umbrella seats by the pool, you have to wake up EARLY. They start at 6:30AM, and these fill up fast. You can reserve and then return to your room. And they don't enforce a policy in which people have to return by a certain hour to keep their seats. Someone can reserve a beach hut or poolside umbrella/seats and then never show up!! Extremely frustrating!! But make a note if you are willing to wake up early! "The Hyatt in Aruba-fabulous service!!"
The most compelling aspect of this hotel, besides the beautiful grounds, great breakfast buffet lovely new spa,or terrific location on Palm Beach, was the friendly, helpful, and gracious staff. They went out of their way to make sure every need was met, and did so with smiles and care. The only difficulty encountered was not being able to have a shade […] umbrella available unless I woke up at 5 AM on vacation to wait on line for a chair in the shade. However, as I walked along the path lining the strip behind the hotels and along the beach, it was apparant that this is the norm for the "high-rise" hotel section. In any case, a lounge under a palm tree did the trick, and the staff at the towel hut made sure to accomodate. A special thanks to Diana and the guys for their special efforts. Edna and Corry were great at the buffet, as were the staff in the "coffee shop". Thanks to Michaela for a speedy and efficient welcome and check-in on our arrival. "Aruba Hyatt"
I was very happy with the Hyatt and if I go to Aruba again this is where I would stay. Beautiful hotel right on the beach. They have tiki huts on the beach and rafts available at no charge. On busy days you can reserve them. I had breakfast incl and it was great. Only downside is food/drinks are very $$$$ but all the hotels are.

"Hyatt in beautiful Aruba"
This, in our opinion, is the best hotel in Aruba. The breakfast buffet is the best, Palms restaurant is the best for lunch or dinner. The casino and it's employees are the greatest and so helpful. We've been there before and we certainly will go there again. B & B
"Great Hotel and Location"
My wife and I took our 22 month-old to this hotel for a week. We enjoyed the various pools and location to restaurants, which made the trip with our little one easier. Would highly recommend this hotel. If you're from NY (we're not), you'll love it even more as it seemed like most guests were from the state of NY.

The accommodations were excellent. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well maintained. I usually hate breakfast buffets, but the buffet was very good. It had an omlet station and a waffle station. "Wonderful Hotel"
Had a business meeting at this hotel and everything was first class. The rooms were very clean, the service at the pool and beach were exceptional and there were a lot of restaurants to choose from. I sampled at least four of their restaurants and enjoyed all of them. Would highly recommend.

"Great Hotel and Location, but Service needs improvement"
I recently stayed at the Hyatt in Aruba for five days. This was my third trip to the island, and I've always heard amazing things about the Hyatt and had been to their casino, so my expectations were high. The property was stunning and the room was comfortable. We were a bit disappointed with the service however - I would have expected more from a 4-star […] hotel. They don't have a full-service spa and some of the facilities were not working properly. We had difficulty finding someone to assist and typically the concierge had only one person on duty who was either overwhelmed or not at their station. Secondly, the process for getting a cabana on the beach is a bit absurd if you're on vacation. They expect guests to start lining up before 7:00 am to reserve one without paying an additional fee. Most of them are reserved by 7:30 am, so if you are a late sleeper, you may want to consider paying the fee. Even so, make reservations before you arrive, because they were already taking them for January 2010! On a more positive note, the area of the island where the resort is located is ideal. You're on a strip with varied restaurant choices all within walking distance and there's a nice little shopping center with a movie theatre nearby so there's plenty to do in the evenings if you don't gamble. The Hyatt has a few restaurants on property that are particularly good,and be sure to ask if your room comes with the complimentary breakfast buffet - the food is great and it's a beautiful setting. It's a much better way to start the day than standing on line at the towel shack. One last note - if you're going into Oranjestad, consider taking the bus on the strip instead of a cab each time. It's a quick 20-minute ride and the service takes you right to the center of town. I would highly recommend this hotel, but until they improve some of the service issues, would think of it more as a 3 or 3 1/2 star destination. Przeczytaj więcej

Excelentes instalaciones, todo cerca, muy cómodo, limpio, ubicado cerca a los nuevos centros comerciales. Podrían mejorar el servicio y la atención en la playa.
"Hyatt Aruba"
Rommene var veldig fine, og en flott uteplass. Stranda (Palm Beach) er ei fin strand, og man får håndkle og solseng hver dag av Hyatt. Uteområdene har både Black Swans, fisker og pappegøyer. God mat på de forskjellige spiseplassene, og hyggelig service av de som jobber.

"En la playa, mesas y sillas"
En Lo unico que puedo quejarme es que en la playa no tienes mesa ni sillas nunca, segun ellos siempre estan reservadas; cosa que me parece muy mal y ademas para tener opcion a un sitio donde instalarte en la playa tienes que pagar. Esto indudablemente le esta restando categoria a este Hotel.

La verdad que este hotel es mantenido muy bien por su personal que no se cansa de atenderte y hacen todo lo posible porque te sientas bien, aunque las playas donde esta ubicado este hotel no es muy buena muy cerca de el existen playas que si lo son. Si tuviese que hacerles algunas criticas podria ser justamente en el area de la playa ya que las chozas […] o bohios estan un poco deteriorados, asi como las colchonetas que dan para flotar en la playa muchas de ellas estan rotas.Deberian hacer reparaciones a estas chozas porque la vista del atardecer sentados alli es espectacular y las cenas o reuniones a la orilla de la playa.Es un excelente hotel para el descanso. En cuanto a Aruba en si, se que esta concebida para el placer y descanso le hace falta mas variedad de tiendas casi que se limitan a la perfumeria y joyas.
