we had a non-smoking room; the bathroom STANK!! of cigarette smoke....the towels in particular...so don't know if someone recently smoked IN the bathroom, or whomever was doing the laundry was in a confined space with it smoking.....very difficult to breathe in there....otherwise an acceptable stay

"this is not what a "quality" inn should be"
This is not typical of the chain. Don't trust the name brand - the vibe is somewhere between a truck stop and what I would expect to find at a no-tell motel. Yuck!

"Good value, fair hotel"
The staff were cheerful and helpful. Overall the place is a bit rundown, but the rooms, although dated, were clean and well-kept. One of the ice machines was "out of order" and had clearly been in a fight, plus the vending machines were in locked venues that required your pass key. That, and the unmarked (an manned) police cruiser out in front contributed […] to a slight feeling of unease. I was pleasantly surprised by both a microwave and a fridge in my room, neither of which was listed on-line as "amenities." "Quailty Inn"
My stay at the Quailty Inn has to been the worse stay at hotel in a while. I had book this hotel to stay because I was attending howard universty homecoming. It was not to far away the universty but the major part of why did like my stay was because the heaters in the two rooms that I book for didn't not work. I called room serives about 20 times and […] this didn't fix the problem. So finally they guy at the front desk told me that he would write a report on explain how the room heater wasn't working. The next day I went down to the lobby to see what can I do about the heater and finally I was able to get a maintance guy to come and fix it. At the end of the stay we suppose to check out at 12 and I just ask to stay an extra hour because I woke up late and they wasn't able to work out a deal with me although I wasn't able to utilize one of the rooms for a night because of the broken heater. "You get what you pay for"
I chose this hotel because I had a last minute need to be in Silver Spring and wanted to spend as little as possible. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean, but they had a few small holes in them. The carpet had not been vacuumed, at least not very well, and the tub had a dingy-looking rubber mat in it that I wasn't convinced had ever been […] removed during cleaning. The iron is tethered to the ironing board with a short security cable, making it impossible to reach the tip of the board with the iron. "Uou get what you pay for"
For the going rates in the area, it's ok. The neighborhood seems a little shady in places. If you like IHOP, you will love the location.
The hotel staff (front desk clerk) was not friendly or helpful. The phone didnt work a few times in the room. Not a good experience.
Small bathroom. The bathroom door could not be opened all the way. Then to close the door you had to stand in the bath tub. Excessive noise from other guests.
"Quality Inn Tacoma Park"
Could not check in at 2:00PM which was inconvenient because we needed to get dressed for a funeral (check in is 3:00PM). We were told we could use the single rest room in the lobby/breakfast area. When we checked in at 10:00PM the process was very slow. Room was adequate and quiet and the location was perfect for our needs.

The Quality Inn Takoma Park was great for the budget-conscious visitor to Washington DC. The room was comfortable and clean, everything worked fine and there were even about 40-50 cable channels. It was conveniently located next to an IHOP.

"Tacoma Park Quality Inn in DC"
I was very satisfied with the room until we left and found that we had left a very expensive flatiron in the refrigerator to cool. I called the motel the following day and they said it wasn't there. One of the cleaning people must have taken it. I'm disappointed that there are dishonest people in the world who would take something like this rather than […] turning it in to lost and found. I'm very disappointed in the motel management. I overheard a similar conversation at the front desk of a Motel in NY and someone had left something there, I heard the desk clerk say "yes, they had found it and it could be picked up". "Where to stay on a budget"
The staff is nice and friendly. However the surrounding neighborhood is not so great. The busline is close by

Based on location and price, the Quality Inn in Tacoma Park was basically what we expected. However, even a "budget" inn needs to provide quality customer service, and this hotel does not. When we checked in, they were still cleaning our room, and it was well over 3 PM. "Quality Inn in Takoma Park, MD"
It was a nightmarish stay, almost unbearable...I have had another in the area, I will have left the same night....just a mere failure. Please and please never recommend any person to this hotel, no exagerations...it is just a real horror. Truly a nightmare on New Hampshire Avenue.
"Horrible"
We showed up at midnight and there was no one there behind the bullet proof glass. Bums were outside of the hotel harrassing us and finally after the police pulled in they helped us locate another hotel. This place is a complete dump and in a VERY dangerous area. DO NOT STAY HERE.

地下鉄とバスを乗り継いで１時間かかります。少し歩けば店がたくさんありますが、駅からバスで行った方向と逆の方面だったので気づきませんでした。 部屋はいい感じです。最初の日の受付の対応がぶしつけだったので心配になりましたが、他は申し分ありませんでした。

"Hotell Quality Inn Takoma Park"
På det stora hela så tycker jag att hotellet är prisvärt. Hotellet har några år på nacken vilket syns men det är absolut inte sunkigt på något sätt. Jag sov in stort sett bara på hotellet och för detta så funkar hotellet perfekt. Det är rent och städat med fräscha sängar, sängkläder, handdukar etc. Rummen städas varje dag och frukost ingår. På rummen […] finns tv, kaffebryggare, strykjärn med strykbräda. Jag kan klart rekommendera hotellet för det syfte som jag hade med det, dvs någonstans att sova och förbereda sig inför dagen. Precis bredvid hotellet ligger restaurangen IHOP som är öppet dygnet runt. Där serveras allt från frukost till middag och personalen är väldigt trevliga. Värt att veta innan är att man enligt lag är tvungen att ge dricks på restauranger där man får en servitör/servitris till bordet. Hotellet ligger en bit utanför centrala Washington och tar lite tid att ta sig till och från (ca 45 minuter). Har man bara tålamodet så tycker jag absolut att det är värt det. Närmaste t-banestation är Takoma och sen går det buss (nr 16) till hotellet vilket tar ca tio minuter. Området Silver Spring/Takoma tillhör de mer säkra områdena i Washingtons förorter och själv kände jag mig aldrig otrygg i området eller när jag reste med buss och t-bana. Takoma ligger längs den röda t-banelinjen vilket gör att du kan åka med t-banan direkt till Chinatowns t-banestation. Därifrån kan man lätt ta sig till alla större sevärdheter i Washington.
