Checked in at midnight. Found that the toilet did not flush and there was no hair dryer. Called the front desk and was immediately moved to a different room. In the second room we did not have a remote to the TV.

Manager was the rudest hotel manager we have ever encountered. Our business group frequently stay at hotels about 20 nights a month. This was by far our worst hotel that we have ever visited. Stained carpets, rooms that smelt of smoke, and again the most obnoxious manager in the industry. Do not stay at this hotel!

The decor of the room was clean and modern, and the memory foam beds were wonderful. Everything about the experience was great except for one problem: we had reserved a crib, but when we got there the only one they had was broken. They said someone stole one recently, but this was one thing we really needed. Our baby had to sleep in the bed with us, […] which meant our older child wasn't happy in her bed and wanted to be in bed with everyone else. So we were all squeezed into one bed. "The Wingate in Macon was very nice."
A very comfortable place to stay. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast was just what we needed before heading out on the last leg of our journey.

Everything about the hotel and our room was good except the service--that seemed bare bones. Perhaps a bad day, and a of couple employees didn't make it in. For example, the breakfast was skimpy, coffee out, spoons out, the food scattered-- and it was early. Probably a bad day. Still avery nice hotel.

What a nice place. Outlets everywhere for phones etc. Flat screen. Tempurpedic beds great water pressure and hot water. Very modern and very well priced much less than others and better in quality. Breakfast was good. Receptionist was great. Staying in Macon GA? This is the only place in Macon GA I will stay at.

The mattress was wonderful - memory foam. The only negative was that I called to see if I could get an extra pillow and the desk clerk said "probably not". Nice breakfast.

The Wingate is a very nice hotel and the staff was very friendly and courteous. I will continue to book my reservation at the Wingate in Macon because I know that the rooms are comfortable, faucility is clean, and maintain at all times. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

In an area where there were pleanty of places to eat, as well as having a 'room service' provision from local eatery. "Good Night sleep"
This hotel was beautiful. The bed was a foam bed and was so VERY comfy! The breakfast was also a nice surprise. It was also the perfect location. So glad we picked the chain for our stays.
Everything was excellent but breakfast. It was too meager. Not enough choices, like sugar-free cereal, appealing fruit, whole wheat breads, etc. (I had stayed at the Crystal Inn in Salt Lake City where their free breakfast was a gourmet buffet, loaded with all the usual delicious food possible, including eggs, waffles, and much more. ) Your bed was […] REALLY comfortable, including nice sheets and pillows and covers. ok for the money. room had a soft ball size dust bunny hanging from the ceiling by a web.and a square foot size stain on the floor as you walked into the room. (didnt know what it was and didnt want to find out) my only other complaint was the employee taking care of the breakfast. very rude and not friendly at all....the breakfast was good though

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Lead us to a great place to eat, close to the hotel. Will stay there again on our next drive to Fla.
"Great Bed, but noisy room and poor breakfast menu"
The matress was made of memory foam and it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. However, we could hear the traffic all night. When we checked in, we asked about the breakfast menu for the next day and were told eggs were on the menu. The next morning we didn't find eggs. "The Wingate in Macon is the perfect spot"
This hotel is in a great location close to shopping, eating and easy access to a major interstate. The room was clean hotel staff was friendly. Only problem I had was the mini fridge needed to be defrosted so much Ice build up my drink got stuck. Other then that I had a great experience and would stay again.

Staff was super nice, hotel was clean. chairs in room hard. Bed must have been extra firm, they were hard. No box springs under mattress. Room was clean & nice. Free internet worked fine

"Very clean & comfortable"
Very clean and the room was new, bright and comfortable. The breakfast had bacon, scambled eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit and pastries. Also you could make fresh waffles. There is a Cheddar's restaurant within walking didtance. The service was excellent.

Only overnite stay w/my daughter. I looked for hotel close to the location she had to be early next a.m...chose Wingate...completely satisfied and would high recmmend!

Upon arrival the exterior was very clean. When I went into my room, I notice that the sheet on one of the beds was not clean and the pipes leaked under the sink. The front desk was notified regarding the room. She apologized.

The interior does not match the exterior. Looks very new outside. But a little dated in the rooms. Not the funiture. But the wall paper and the bathroom looks old. The bed was nice. But I tendto like a stiffer bed. But overall a nice place. Have to remember that I am in Macon. And no knock on Macon. But nor a lot of 4-5 star options. I always check […] the bathrooms. And as usual I find hair on the floor. But the bathroom did have a scent of clorax or bleach. That was actuall a nice smell. To me it meant they at least clean the bathroom. The room was in pristine condition. The beds were new , memory foam mattresses. The breakfast included was great (they even had a waffle maker). I was in on business and will stay again when I return in a month. Thanks.

everything was great. loved the soft pillow mattress/f;at screen t.v and was very clean for my newborn to stay in.
"What a Night's Sleep"
The only hotel on our trip to have a Tempur-Pedic bed. We slept so good. The room was a little dated in decor but that was offset by the overall staff friendliness. The Free Breakfast was very good. The surrounding neighborhood was very nice.
"Front desk phone"
We stayed on the 2nd floor in the center of the hotel. Our only complaint is that the front desk phone is set to ring at an unusually high volume - loud enough to be heard inside our room with the television on! Please turn that thing down :-) otherwise, it was a comfortable spot to stay while making the drive to Disney World from Tennessee.

"Bad shower"
The only negative thing I have to complain about happens to be a biggie. The shower was unusable. It was a cold trickle at best. I was staying there for a cosmetology conference so thiswas unforgivable.

The hotel was a little run down and the rooms were not as clean as I would have liked. The doors were extremely hard to open and close.
We were passing through GA on our way to FL and this was a very nice stopover hotel. The room was very clean with great AC. The continental breakfast provided a good selection, including a make-your-own waffle station, cereal, muffins, juice, coffee, etc. My only complaint would be the carpet next to the room's fridge was wet and we unknowingly put […] one of our bags down on that spot, only to realize it later.
