as with most hotels that i have stayed in over the last 20 years or so, I come to expect the bottled water in the room is for the coffe in the morning in yor room. was charged 6.98 for two bottles of water, that was clearly necessary for the coffe maker in the room. It was a very pleasant hotel. The staff was very nice and took really good care of me. I like the fact that their pool was indoor, even though it wasn't too big. The water was pretty warm and relaxing. I like the fact the parking lot was free and that luckily they didn't have that many guest over the weekend I stayed in so I park right in front of the […] entance. Chose this since my daughter had a flight arriving at midnight and they had a late shuttle service. Her flight was so late she had to get a cab anyway. It was $20. Staff was great. Bed was comfortable and we both have back issues so it was nice to have a great bed. Surprisingly we didn't hear the traffic at all. The room darkening shades kept the room […] dark as we slept in til 9. Mentioned at check out that we had a little trouble with the key in the morning so they didn't charge us for the bottled water we drank. I think we had the problem because we had our keys made separately and my earlier made key didn't work. It had worked before my daughter had her key made. It was nice that they responded so nicely. Stayed at the hotel due to close proximity to airport. They run shuttles every half-an-hour to the airport so it was easy to get to. Internet was free, wireless, and fairly quick.

This was a great hotel, although an older property, it has been completely remodeled with the new Courtyard look and looks great! The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The Bed was very comfortable. One of the best first nights sleep i have had on the road in a while. It is a great value. I would reccomend it to anyone.

The check in clerk was very helpful and nice, an asset to her job. The room was very comfortable and I would stay again.

We received this hotel stay from our Maid of Honor on our wedding night. She selected a hotel near the car rental return and this was perfect, even at the end of a very long day, our check out was quick and easy. Our room was ready for us to sleep and get some rest. She arranged for us to have breakfast and we did, delicious fruits and breakfast breads […] were just what we needed. The room, service and staff were all top notch. About 1/3rd of the rooms back to a freeway. My room backed to a freeway but it did not keep me up at night. A good value.

We stayed at this hotel as we needed to catch an early flight out of Chicago. This hotel was so nice...very modern and comfy at the same time. The hotel was quite a distance from the Convention Center and the Hyatt. I had to take a taxi there most of the time, which was quite expensive. I am employed by a public school district and do not have an expense account as do corporate travelers. Don't get the room by the highway. Too noisy.

The hotel was very nice and a great suprise to be next to the cosino. There was good shopping near by. The stay was great and the staff wonderfull. The spa and pool were nice and well keep. The hotel was easy to find, in extremely clean and well cared for and appeared to have been fairly recently update. The room was very comfortable. This would be a great place and very convenient if you are going to be utilizing the airport or the Rivers Casino. However, we were here to visit our son, his wife and our grandson who live in Wrigleyville […] and this location was not very convenient to that part of Chicago or to downtown. Since there were not any hotels (except for 1 for $500/night or flop houses) in their neighborhood, this was a great and affordable alternative to downtown. There was no additional fee for parking here as there is downtown. Our son picked us up at the Courtyard and we left our vehicle safely parked in the lot. Our room was on the backside of the hotel, adjacent to a major highway, but we were not disturbed by the traffic noise at all. The hotel was in a great location for our visit to Chicago. There are several nice and Chicago-isk restaraunts within walking distance, less than or about a mile. The room was tidy & the hotel everything i have come to accept from a Courtyard. The only execption was the pillows. There were four pillows none of which were comfy. 2 were super flat, another […] slightly firm with the last somewhere in between but not good on its own. Stacking the pillows together was the only to get mildly comfortable. My neck was stiff post my two night visit. Only disappointment. The room was nice and clean, but the water when taking a shower would not drain correctly so the tub would fill up while showering - room 129. The bed was nice and comfortable and I enjoyed my two day stay and would go back

Stayed over Fathers Day weekend to visit families. Hotel is in a good hub for air, car and rail traffic into/out of Chicago and suburbs. Liked: Forest preserve across the street; lots of green. Dislike: Contruction on main road into/out of hotel, but this multi-year project is almost complete. Will stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay. Everyone was extremely nice. All was clean and quiet!

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. It was a bit away from where were going but very drivable and if we had flown it would have been fairly close to the airport for a great price. After a late late night at the airport, arriving to a clean room and comfortable bed at the Marriott was perfect.

We chose this hotel for it's proximity to our son's home in Park Ridge, Illinois. We were visiting him for a long weekend. Although this was not their fault, the road (River Rd.) in front of the hotel was unbelievably torn up! Huge machinery surrounded the front road, with just a small gravely spot to enter and exit the facility. I would've appreciated […] being alerted to this mess. The hotel itself is quite nice. We used the separate building which housed the indoor pool and exercise room. The lobby is very modern, decorated sparsely, but professionally. In the lobby is a small restaurant with a few tables. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room, and we felt the food was overpriced to buy separately, so we went into Park Ridge for breakfast. The room was largish and nicely appointed with a small balcony. We thought it was fine. However, the maid forgot to leave us coffee for the coffee pot in the room. I had to get dressed to go to the front desk to get some packages of coffee on a Sunday morning. The front desk woman immediately helped me, also pointing out there was a free coffee bar behind a bulletin wall. The courtyard was well done, with nice outdoor sofas and chairs and lots of sunshine and trees. Although we were initially put off by the road construction, and discounting the coffee incident, my husband and I would most definitely stay again in the future. All the staff we encountered (excluding the maid) were extremely helpful from check-in to check-out. Most of the clients of this hotel I am sure are business people wanting to stay close to the airport (O'hare). The hotel would be most convenient for this. Przeczytaj więcej

Close to OHARE. Close to Giordano's. Near the freeways. Comfortable, clean. Beds are not that comfortable but good enough. Front desk is very nice. There is a gym at this hotel. Cheaper than Hyatt or Marriott and this hotel has FREE PARKING. Definitely a bonus! I would stay here again!

Staff was terrific and very helpful. One of the cleaner Courtyards I have stayed in. Lots of computers in the lobby to print off boarding passes, etc. Airline information board in the lobby was nice. Only bad thing was the constant noisy from the roadway right next to the hotel. had a birthday pool party for our son and it turned out very well. Pool employee was very helpful, continuously mopping the floor, supplying clean towels to the guests and garbage bags for easy cleanup at the party. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet.

Very pleasant weekend experience. Room was clean and bed slept nicely. Everyone was pleasant. Bistro breakfast was tasty. Would use this hotel again.

Hotel was nice and well kept. It was close to the airport which is what I needed with a late arrival and an early departure. No complaints.

The Courtyard is consistent. It was just as I expected it would be, and then some. Great for the business traveler.

This hotel was very clean and modern. My husband much more impressed with this property than the $200 a night hotel he stayed at just the week before. Unlike that hotel this one had free wifi, a nice pool area and a very comfortable bed. We will be keeping this on our list for the next time we need a hotel in Chicago.

Check-in was smooth. The room was as described. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was below average, but was expensive. A day before checking out, neither one of the hotel keys would work to get into our rooms. Had to get new keys. Then, we got locked out of the hotel and pool (on different occasions) because when the keys were reprogrammed it only […] programmed them to go into our room, not anywhere else like the previous keys. The pool is scheduled to be open til 11pm, but when I tried to visit (with my key that now wouldn't work) at 9:30pm, it was locked and all of the lights were off. Did not appear that staff did much to make our stay more comfortable or accommodating. After having to get the key reprogrammed and getting locked out of the pool and the exterior doors, not any one of the 3 staff members that I spoke to apologized for the inconvenience. Also, the highway and planes nearby can make sleeping difficult. One positive was the housekeeping crew who did a good job and even cleaned our room late in the day when we left to go sightsee after 3pm. Decent value for the cost. Przeczytaj więcej

The staff was courteous and helpful with directions.

Hotel was very modern and very clean. Staff pleasant during check in and check out. Only problem was both wake up calls were 20-25 minutes later than requested. But would stay here again!

We were very comfortable for one night stay with four adults. Any more nights we would of stayed in two rooms. Cost efficient for us. Beds were comfortable. Quiet room. Staff was very helpfull. Only complaint is that the bar was closed at 10:30 pm on a Friday night. We couldn't get a nightcap to relax after our long day of driving.

This hotel was good for its purpose for us. We were just in for the night and flying out in the morning. We did really enjoy the food in the "Bistro", and it was really cool that they had flatscreen TV's in the booths. The room was basic but clean. Actually the only problem I had with the hotel was the smell. Our room and the hallway surrounding it […] had an odor of chlorine from the pool...and like mildew or something. This is the first of the Marriott Courtyard makeovers that have been launched system wide. Only the lobby has been done yet, but it is clearly a step into the 21st century -- and generally well done and inviting.

Mycket nära och bra när man kommer fram till Chicago och har stått nära 3 timmar i kö vid imigrations. Efter 20 minuter kom bussen från hotellet och det var sen nära. Mycket vänlig personal och utmärkt rum. Rekommenderas. Sen lite väl långt från centrum om man vill se sig om lite i staden - därför bytte jag hotell till ett mer centralt.
