"Breakfast"
I think the hotel should have something available for purchase when the buffet closes. There could be a small coffee/tea table with a small bagel/ muffin.

I travel all over for my job, and have very few request. I need a clean room and a working remote. It had those + the manager on duty was very friendly and helpful... it made it more fun to check in.

Lady on the phone not so great.... Hotels.com was the preferred way to book, since the lady was a pain.

The room was very clean. Love the breakfast which is ready at 4 a.m. Everyone was so helpful. They have shuttle service to and from Dayton Airport and they were very prompt. We have stayed there twice now and will stay again.

"Stay at top floors"
never stayed at any "motel" with such noisy floor structure- outdated construction. Otherwise others within Fairfield standards.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was outstanding. We were greeted very well when we entered and they were very accomodating. The breakfast was very nice and the staff was excellent.

Our stay was short but it works for a hotel and shuttle service. The continental breakfast was good and convenient before our early flight. The shuttle came within 15 minutes of our call.
Price was good, but the smell was bad when entering into the room. There were 2 double beds instead of 2 queen beds, nor good
Only negetaive was,.......my daughter was in a softball tournament. The past hotels we stayed at this summer,we had them wash her uniform. That way we don't have to haul detergent etc.....well, I dropped her uniform at the front desk and they said they would have it cleaned for us. We left the hotel at 8:00 returning that night around 9:30 to find a […] dirty uniform that my daughter had to wear Sunday. The hotel said they were sorry, the laundry was closed on Saturdays. "Great Staff/ Hotel needs work."
My room was very clean, Thanks to your housekeeping staff. The bed was so uncomfortable, though. Our backs were hurting in the morning. The hotel was under renovations which you desperately needed but could have informed us. Your breakfast was fabulous and your entire staff is amazingly kind and helpful. One of the things I saw and appreciated was at […] the breakfast. Your employee was so helpful, cheerful and clean. He wore gloves and changed them regularly. As a food handler I am keenly aware of these things and appreciate seeing this. One thing you need to take care of is signage. Your elevators are on the outside of your building. How would you know. The signs on the inside have arrows pointing down halls but nowhere does it say to go outside the doors to find it. I walked for 15 min in a circle looking for the elevator. I finally took the stairs (with my arms full.) Also so signs as to how to get to the front desk would be helpful. As much as I was aggrevated, I would and will stay there again. This hotel is a decent place to stay while traveling from the Dayton airport. The shuttle to the airport was easy to schedule, there are many typical, chain restaurants nearby, and the area is walkable. The room was small and clean, but not a treat. This hotel is not memorable, but it's safe, clean, and convenient.

I was stranded for three nights at this hotel during a major ice storm. I was impressed that the hotel maintained very high standards despite being short staffed when employees couldn't make it in through the storm. My room was clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shuttle driver gave me a lift to a nearby restaurant and […] then picked me up as the sidewalks and parking lots were coated in an inch of ice. There was a microwave and fridge in the room, so I got a take out for my supper at lunch. When my 6:30 AM flight was cancelled and no flights were going out to my destination that day, hotel.com phoned the hotel and they put me in a room right away (9:00 AM) so I didn't have to wait until check in time. There were a number of restaurants within easy walking distance, and the hotel had five menus from local restaurants that deliver sitting on the front desk when i arrived. Breakfast included waffles, (make your own), oatmeal, assorted yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bagels etc. It's no fun to be stranded for days and unable to fly home, but this hotel made the experience a good one none the less. Room smelled musty there were roof leaks, water damage and numerous reports from other guests about room conditions The bed was broken Concerning the staff, they did try to attend to our requests and eventually did refund one nights lodging.

"needs improvement"
The aircondition was not working. Room was very warm. We had prepaid for two rooms and when we got there the rooms was not even close to each other. Bed was broke in one of the rooms. There was a bug in the sheets on one of the beds. We did not get the bed choices that we reserved also.

"Needs improvement"
Wasn't obvious on the booking site that this was an outdoor hotel. Room was very small. Air conditioner could barely keep the room cool. Woke up sweating.

Hotel seemed like a motel with outside doors and old fixtures. They should of spent money on upgrading and skipped the flat screen TV's.
