Super-clean, which is a first in Goldsboro. I come every month to visit family, and have stayed everywhere else without satisfaction. This was my first visit to this Hampton, and I was very happy with EVERYTHING. The only disappointment was that hotels listed a bar and cafe, and there is neither. Applebees is literally across the parking lot, but being […] a female by herself, the comfort level is much higher with in house services. I am staying there again this coming weekend, and am truly looking forward to it! Everyone is a pleasure there, from the front desk, to maintenance, and housekeeping staff was a joy! Pros: Clean rooms and common areas good service updated decor. Cons: the carpet in the room looked a little dingy

The room walls were thin. Heard a dog barking either next door or across the hall. Rooms were ok, but I have had more comfortable beds, bigger pillows, and nicer bathrooms. The staff was friendly and the area was a good area. I don't know what else is available in Goldsboro, but there was an Applebee's directly in front of the hotel and an ABC store […] behind the hotel. A couple of other restaurants nearby.
