"Not a good experience"
People working there must learn little bit more about how to welcome and hospitable. I got my key after arrival to a room already occupied and the clerk at the desk never even say I am sorry or my fault etc.I am NOT planning to stay there again
"Best Motel Ever"
Room exceeded all expectations. Convenience is outstanding. We ordered dinner online from Carrabba's and drove 1 minute to the restaurant where they delivered the meal to our car. We'll be back!
"Very impressed"
I was very impressed with how nice the accommodation were compared with the price paid. The rooms were very spacious and we'll kept with comfortable furnishings. Large desk space makes working easy. Other than the road construction currently going on, it is easy to get to from the interstate. Will definitely stay again.

from the minute we walked into the gorgeous lobby we could sense the quality of this Inn in Macon. The staff was friendly, our dog was happy and the room was very inviting and the bed so comfortable. Loved the lay out of the room. Quiet and private. Spent time sitting by the fireplace in the lobby and sat out by the pool lounging and enjoying some early […] spring weather. we are at a resort in Jekyll Island and It pales by comparison.......what a shock! "Another great stay"
This was our 2nd stay at this hotel and we will return to again when we are in Macon. The room and bathroom are both nicely sized and very clean. The breakfast is excellent and my son loves the waffle maker! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Macon or central Georgia!

"Unfriendly staff"
Stayed at this hotel on the way from Chicago to Orlando. When we checked in the man at the front desk was less than friendly. Upon getting to the room we were assigned, the door wouldn't open. We went down to report the issue and were issued a new key to a different room. His reasoning was that the door must be stuck. We got to our new room and when […] the kids tried to turn on the TV with the remote it didn't work. Turned the TV on manually but the remote still didn't work to change channels. We called the front desk to request a remote that works and the same guy told us we could come down to get one. "LaQuita Macon, Ga"
I would stay here again in heartbeat! It was clean and looked like it had recently been updated. We were travling with 2 sml dogs & I was surprised how nice it was.

Beds were very comfortable. Building is getting a little worn in places. Bathtub was in poor condition but beds were very comfortable otherwise room was in good shape.

My extended family has used this hotel several times as a meeting place for family from out of town. It has a great meeting room that we congregate in well into late in the evening. It's very convenient to where we need to go and the staff is always helpful.

Very nice La Quinta, looked to be renovated. There were good restaurants within easy walking distance and was less than a quarter mile from I75 so was ver convenient. USA Today available to us. Being we lost our A/C this was a unplanned stay in our own town. only complaint i have is we had been told there was WIFI in the hotel but after checking in found out only one cabled i-net. and no wireless. with 3 of us 2 where not able to use the net. all in all a nice stay. if and when we have ppl come to town we will sue them for them to stay

Rooms were OK. The sheets were a little rough. The pool was nice and the boys enjoyed the time swimming. Breakfast was very good.

This hotel is very new, so it had nice amenities in the room and throughout the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Easy access off the highway with a few restaurants and fast food places nearby.
Only one little complaint - sides of pool were a little dirty. Other than that everything was good. Nice friendly staff. Good breakfast with eggs (boiled). Husband is diabetic so he needs protein with the carbs. Clean, spacious room.

"Dog friendly, but not dog overwhelming"
Excellent front desk staff especially given the number of travelers when we were there -- April 1 is major travel date for snowbirds to head north. "Another great stay~at LaQuinta in Macon"
This is I believe my 3rd time using this hotel in Macon. Everything was just fine - only little inconvenience was that the side entry door was not working with my "swipe card" so I had to walk around to the front to access my room. Other than that, it was another great stay.

I was very pleased with the accomodations at La Quinta in Macon. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. My room and bath were spotless and clean. I was traveling with my 90 lb. German Shepherd for the first time, and we both were welcomed. Their assigned wings for travelers with pets works well. We came and left from a card access side- wing […] door. Room maintenance is efficient. I did not care for the climate control system which is set for energy savings not customer comfort. All in all, a very pleasant 4 day stay. Highly recommend. overall all, the hotel was nice. For the price it seemed at first that it was worth the money.. however, on closer inspection, I found out that the cleaning crew was not doing a good job. I dropped a pill on the floor and it went under the bed... well, I went looking for it, and it was very nasty under the foot and sides of the bed. Since I got in kinda […] late, I did not have time to speak with the manager, as I had to wake up really early and go to an important even the following day. I did take pictures of the place and the trash under the beds, and although i've been to worst hotels, for the price and overall look of the hotel I was expecting more than that. Average hotel, a little pricey after taxes and fees, advertised at 75 finished at 97. Breakfast a little tired, needed a little tlc. Reserved two beds, room with a king was all that was available. Staff was nice. Pillows too fluffy for me. Not a bad place, not a great place. Clean. Fairly marked at 2.5 stars.

HOTEL SERVICE: I got there at 6am and was expecting to have a late check out. They said NO!!. I don't know why since the hotel looked like it only had 30% occupancy. This location was wonderful. I always thought of La Quinta as a budget motel. This room and property were immaculate! Smelled great, looked great, felt great... I was extremely impressed and would recommend this location to anyone!!! The surrounding area is filled with eateries and entertainment! Perfect for family or business travel!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this particular La Quinta Inn. Both times were great! I love the fact that this is a dog friendly hotel; even though I don't have a dog; it's great to see them. I would definitely stay again in the future.

I have stayed at this hotel before and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean room and friendly staff. This trip only reinforced my confidence in this hotel and their staff. My six year old decided it was a "good idea" to explore the hotel after I fell asleep.(I'm told that there was a group of young adults gathered in the lobby celebrating […] something) As my daughter mingled with group completely at 11 p.m., the woman working behind the counter immediately noticed and took action. She made contact with my daughter and discovered that she unattended. She brought my daughter back to our room and woke me up. I was so shocked and horrified that my daughter left the room that I forgot to thank the woman. I can only imagine what might have happened if the woman did not protect my daughter.
