The staff was great and very helpful. I asked for directions to a local museum and they actually printed out directions for me. The room was clean, but did have a slight musty smell. I am hyper-sensitive to smells so it bothered me, but not my husband.

The staff was exceptional- very cheerful and helpful. We were given complimentary bottles of water and a few Hershey kisses and hard candy in each bag, along with a welcome note. The room and restroom were meticulous, and the king size bed was very comfortable. "Nice Location / Clean Rooms"
We stayed there just for a night, on our way back from trip to the Smoky Mountains. The location was really good, close to I81, lots of places to eat nearby, even a mall right across !! Room really clean, my wife loved the bed and the linen they provided.

Requested adjoining rooms for family to be.close. got rooms on same floor, but 15 rooms apart. Construction crews were painting and drywall repair in adjoining rooms. Caused a paint/drywall mud smell in whole hallway. crews began work at 0730, waking up everyone in party. hotel did not appear to be full. have stayed at hampton inns many times before […] and this was the.worst stay with hampton. I almost always choose the Hampton Inn as my hotel of choice because of the high standards maintained and the fact that the hotels are set back from the noise of the road if possible. I was somewhat disappointed by the breakfast at this one, however, because there were no separate bacon and egg dishes (except for boiled eggs). Stayed here on way to Myrtle Beach and on the way back home. Nice place, clean and convenient to I-81. Cracker Barrel close by. My single complaint is the bathroom had a small amount of black mold in the upper corners. Not a huge deal, but they should wipe that stuff down with bleach.

Very nice hotel for Shenandoah students family. Right across from the school. Clean, comfortable, nice breakfast. Great price for family of students. It will be our regular stay.

"The Hampton Inn in Winchester Va"
The hotel was close to the Mall and the Winchester Park was walking distance, across the street. There were several restraunts in the area as well.

Hotel was very clean & close to the I 81 for Travellers. The rate was good which also included breakfast............ Also Reception Clerk very helpful in recommendation of a food service after a long day of driving. Would certainly stay there again.

I have stayed here on two different occasions. The first time the room wasn't as clean as it should have been, but otherwise I had no problems. The second time my stay was just fine. This hotel was perfectly located for my needs, being just one exit way from my daugher's house. It is convenient to US 81. Once inside, the hotel was clean and well organized. "Whose idea was this ?"
This was our third stay at this hotel in the past few months. It was the only one booked through Hotels.com. The problem was we were given an old,cold handicapped room on the third floor. I am hoping the hotel really doesn't put handicapped visitors in that room. Handicapped in an inferior room on the third floor ? We are not handicapped. The bathroom […] had so many railings and plasic seats and benches there was not much room for us. Because it was so late and we were exhausted from our long drive, we didn't want to go all the way back down to the front desk and move our stuff to another room. The two previous times we stayed at this hotel we had nice, updated rooms. This time however we were given a very old,awful room.
