Perfect for a night stay for a stop on the way.
"Not too bad"
For an overnight stay, the motel was decent. We had several rooms since we were part of a group. When we went to our rooms, two rooms assigned belonged to someone else. We had that changed immediately with no problem. The only real problems we ran into were no hot water in one room and another room's door would not lock. The motel was in a convenient […] location. "Great for travelling through"
We booked this hotel while we were on the road to Orlando. Not the newest, but everything was clean and met our expectations. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was in a great location for interstate access.
"maid service not up to par"
we made coffee and when we return to room the coffee pot not cleaned out and no decafe put in the room. the next day still the coffee pot not cleaned. Found a face cloth that was not ours in the bathroom. Had to ask the front desk to ask people milling around in the parking lot on Saturday night to leave. Room was just ok. There was a left over dirty wash cloth in the bathroom and paint peeling from the wall of the bath. Overall though it was alright for a one night stay. Breakfast was average at best.

"2nd stay"
Asked for an ashtray for my room. Never received the ashtray. Maybe a shortage because they grew legs. The water in the shower never got hot or even warm this time. Different room this time. Otherwise, very quiet and comfortable. Will be staying up the road next week to give another hotel a try.
"My First Stay"
My first stay here was excellent. Essance at the front desk was very helpful to me. Super Sweet. Will stay here again. The A/C works wonderful on a hot day. I was right next to the pool and am a day sleeper. Very quiet. Dining establishment within very short walking distance.
"July 2011 Visit"
The hotel was nice and quiet. The pool was refreshing and clean. The ability to bring fresh linens and a cot was fast and convenient for us.

cigarette holes in blankets, sheets looked dirty so i got new ones and changed myself. carpet dirty, bathroom was falling apart. screws were literally hanging out the wall holding a/c vents. was a joke and felt very gross. can't believe it was recommended to us.

"Some what ok"
Me and 3 of my friends stayed here last weekend. Our overall stay was ok, all the people working there were nice. The only problems I had wit h the hotel is the pictures of the hotel I saw online wasn't what I saw when I got there. The room was smaller and the pool was not that big at all. We have stayed here several times because it is nearby our doctor's office and places we like to shop. There are several good eating places near by as well. "Baymont Inn Macon GA"
Very clean room, good beds, GREAT air conditioning ( on a 99-degree day!) , close to lots of restaurants. The air conditioning was ON, and frigid, when we got to the room, not off as is usually the case.
The room was comfortable anf airly clean. The exterior walking areas and steps needed a little attention. Overall it was a comfortable stay and goo d value for the dollar. I'd stay again.

As far as location goes the Baymont was great, easy access to everything. The room needs to be updated badly. The furniture was old, the carpet was nasty and the computer chair looked like one I'd thrown out of office years ago. I was not impressed at all by the condition of the room. "BAYMONT RIVERSDIDE MACON"
Very noisy for someone working nights. Rooms not very clean. Moderate comfort, pillows are very old smelly and lumpy. They advertised Internet but I had no internet service the 2 days I was there and they claimed it had been down for a week and were not sure when it would be back up. Asked for a late checkout but was only given until noon.

"OK for an overnight stay."
Usually Baymont Inns are nice, but this one seemed on the lower end of quality especially for the price I paid. It was a decent stay, but for the price, I would have expected a little more.

I stay at a lot of hotels and this one has been one of the very worst I've been to. It's supposed to be a business hotel but the wifi was down in everything but the lobby area. The T.V. sits so low that you can't hardly see it laying down. The air condictioner constantly froze up leaving us sweating in the middle of the night. "Be careful"
There really isn't a breakfast, just awful coffee and individually wrapped pastries, we went around the corner to IHOP. The pool was green and ice cold. I think there should be a set water temp. prior to stating the hotel has a pool. The room was nice, not enough towels but clean.
"Nice hotel, but not for longer stays"
We stayed the night while on a long road trip. The hotel is obviously recently rennovated, and the updates were both comfortable and what you'd expect from a nicer hotel. The out-dated building was something inexcapable, however. This includes exterior facing doors and a very small bathroom. For over-night stays, this is a great hotel for it's price. I've stayed at Baymont Inns before and they were better than average. Thus, I wasn't prepared for this older, run-down property that was almost devoid of guests when we arrived and felt like a ghost-town hotel in a western movie. The room was quite small, we couldn't find an electrical socket anywhere, and about the only good thing was a plasma TV. […] The outside door was quite separated from its frame, which made it feel insecure. Too bad that I didn't choose alternative properties in the vicinity. "Good price, good location"
The hotel seems older from the outside, but the interior seemed updated and clean. Close to Macon Collesium and plenty of restaurants to chose from near the hotel.

"Macon Baymont right off the freeway"
Our stay at Baymont was great as we were just passing through Macon on our way to Charlotte. The Hotel was very well placed amongst a large assortment of eating establishments and other hotels and very easily accessible from the freeway. The best thing about the hotel was the staff of whom we dealt with a total of 4. Each person was knowledgeable as […] well as extremely personable. In my opinion that is even more important than the facilities. The only thing I would change was the fact that the mattress was the hardest one we had encountered in a number of years of vacations...However I guess some people like that type so....maybe just a personal taste things. I waited almost 10 minutes before the front desk clerk showed up to check me in. After getting to my room on the second floor, I left to get some ice. The ice machine on the second floor was broken and I had to go downstairs to use the first floor machine. The rooms were clean and ready so overall not a bad stay for the money,

Would recommend to others. Room was clean in good condition. Bed was comfortable. Only complaint was that I told the front desk i did not need room service and they cleaned anyways.

I was looking for a cheap stay on a long road trip. I chose this hotel due to its low price and close proximity to the interstate. I had read some other reviews of this place that had complaints, so my expectations weren't high. The manager on duty was very cheerful, and helpful getting us checked in, as well as suggesting restaurant options nearby. […] This is not a brand new hotel, but it is well maintained and clean.
