"Best Hotel in Missoula"
This hotel is older but it's kept well. The cookies are awesome! Second time staying here and will most likely choose this hotel again next time.

"Great stay and people"
We drove all the way form Denver and arrived early, 9 am instead of close to 1-3 which is when regular check in was so we were worried that we would have to pay an extra night but they just greeted us, found a room that was open and had a similar view and gave us both cookies! "doubletreehotel Missoula, Montana"
Great welcoming staff, very lively bar scene with beautiful diningroom overlooking the river. Perfect location for walking to the campus of U. of Montana. ONly negative was no elevator to the 2nd floor.
"Very quiet, great restaurant"
The hotel offered a very quiet to stay. Also has to a great restaurant in it. No river view rooms were available but still nice location. If you are in to the big name hotels you will enjoy your stay. I didn't feel like it was worth the extra money for the stay though.

Nice hotel, great location if you like to walk everywhere like I do. It's very near the river trail and also to downtown restaurants and shops. The shuttle service is a real plus.

Nice updated hotel with river views from many rooms and a great dining room. Good food and entertaining.

The location was great, right near downtown missoula. Rooms were clean and size was acceptable. I'd recommend spending the ten extra dollars for a balcony we didn't and our room was right outside the parking lot with only a sliding glass door separating so there was some noise.

Probably was another type of hotel at one time, but HIlton did a good job of updating it. The location is close to either side of the river and nature paths, and downtown. Seemed to be where everyone was staying. The room was big and open. The air conditioning worked very well and the bedding was very comfortable.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Is was very comfortable, the reception staff were friendly and offered us a choice of rooms. Our room was very nice and clean. We enjoyed dinner and drinks and all very good with a nice view of the river. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the river before dinner.

Hotel is nice, great location on the river however food service was fine but food was well below par. Without going into details they need a updated menu and new chef. Do not eat at Hotel there are many other places in Missoula with quality food.

"DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Missoula - Edgewater"
The hotel was clean, well appointed and welcoming. The front desk was very friendly and courteous. The warm cookies were a real treat upon arrival. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the river which was very nice but the patio chairs were not in the best of condition. The chairs were clean but OLD. I would definitely stay there when we come through […] again. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the sheets felt great. "Good Location"
We wanted a hotel near downtown with a bar so DoubleTree fits that bill. The bar closes early though. The rooms are ok. Only complaint was the loud air conditioning.
"Decent hotel, but dated"
This hotel is an overbuilt large hotel with many wings of rooms that are not designed for client comfort, just more reservations. The hotel is an ugly maze of long hallways and few exits to the outdoors. This doesn't bode well for recurring customers.
We recently stayed at the DoubleTree and everything was good. The staff at check in and check out were amazing (katie helped us) with me being in the customer service industry, i know what it takes and she was top notch. The hotel is less than a mile walking from downtown, the campus among other things. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Missoula […] for a concert for its proximity. 2 things- the coke machine near our room (180wing) was not working, everything was warm. 2nd- we wished there would have been some sort of refridgerator in the rooms, we ate out alot and this would have been nice to store some food and drinks. "DoubleTree / Edgewater - Best for visiting Missoul"
This hotel is very comfortable and well-maintained. If you are visiting Missoula to visit the University, this is a great choice, as it's right across the river from the University and you can walk to the school.

There was a fire alarm that was chirping when I got to the room. The front desk sent for a maintenance person and it was fixed within 15 minutes....

"Missoula Hotel"
The hotel was rather nice, the staff was friendly and courteous, the town of Missoula itself was a little run down, but we were there in July, and it appears to be a college inspired town, so that was more than likely the reason it felt a little deserted.

"Great location, but old and in need of updating"
We chose this hotel because it was the highest rated hotel on Expedia in Missoula, When we arrived, I was surprised that it was an older place that had not been updated. It was overpriced for what we received in my opinion.
"right on the Clark Fork"
Beautiful setting in Missoula but don't expect 5 star quality as in a major city because you are in the best hotel in Missoula. Great restaurant and you can fly fish right outside the hotel on the Clark Fork.

"Great with exception to the thin walls"
We had a very nice stay here. Easy to get to, nice clean room. Did miss the fridge and microwave but most of all was the thin walls. We all woke up early when the neighbors had to shower.
