Not bad, the people were friendly and the service was good, the room could have been a little more up to date and the upgrades that had been done looked to be of poor quality, and was surprised to see still had popcorn cellings, I was also led to believe I could see the water from there and my view was a trailer park, but that being said it was a ok […] vaue at the rate I was givin. they seemed to have good amenities, rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, had a good rest for the short time I slept, I woke rested and probably would return again, although I will be requesting a upper level unit I think to avoid the trailer park view lol. From the time I walked in the room to check out was the best experience I've ever had in a hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed here while visiting my sister and brought my dog. I understand that my room choices may be affected by the dog, of course. However, we were put in a room right next to the hotel bar. Friday night was jazz night which only went til 10:30, but drunk people yelling up and down the halls apparently went much longer. Saturday night […] was karaoke and went until 1AM! Finally, at 11 I called the front desk and asked to be moved, which we were, to a much quieter room down the hall- why weren't we already there? And our bathroom was handicapped, which I respect but the shower water got all over the floor as there was no wall or lip to catch water so you had to go to the bathroom barefoot or else you'd be soaked... Staff was friendly. Morning buffet breakfast was adequate. Bed was comfortable. Coffee pot in room had not been washed. The hotel decor is outdated, but I was there for a two night stay at a great rate in a close location to downtown, so the decor and coffee pot were not a big deal to me. What WAS a big deal was the fact that the power went out FOUR […] times on our second night and again the next morning. When I inquired with one of the staff ----- in the dark hallway --- about the power issue, she smiled, shrugged her shoulders and said it was something that just happens all the time over there. We were here for 4 nights. We have stayed here before two other times because we have family in the area. The staff is very helpful. Our only complaint is that the breakfast buffet was rather ordinary for the price and never changing. "OK, but not great."
On arrival the desk clerk was standing in front of the doors smoking. I believe CA law says no smoking within 10 yards of a door. This was unprofessional and your guests shouldn't have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get in to the hotel. We should have been told that the room was actually close to another door instead of having to walk most of the […] way down the building. The room was larger than usual, but nothing had been done with the space. There was a king sized bed, a small desk and one easy chair. No second chair, no table, no coffee table, no couch. But the bed was comfortable and there was a smallish flat screen TV. In a smaller room it would have been OK, but in this larger room the smallish TV was sub standard. I actually wish I hadn't bothered paying extra for the larger room now. The bathroom was fine, there were two sinks so we didn't have to work around each other. "NICE"
Our family had a long drive from Central Valley, we were all tired. Stopped by and dined at a restaurant in downtown Eureka. We made reservation 20 minutes prior to check in.. with Ipad...NICE...Hotel was clean, kids had a good time at the pool after a long trip. "Stay away from the restaurant!"
The employees were very friendly. However, the food in the restaurant was the worst we have ever had. The prime rib was rancid, which we did not eat. We should have known better when we showed up at 6:00 pm, and there was absolutely nobody else in the restaurant.Prawdziwa opinia gościa Hotels.com

"Pets are welcome"
Needed to take our dog at the last minute and they were welcoming! $15 additional and we were able to take her along. They had a sign to post on the door to advise a dog was in the room. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. We came for a local football game and the teams are welcomed. Anyone looking for a quiet getaway should ask if sports teams […] are staying.
