This hotel is "no-frills" but this is not to be interpreted in a negative way. The receptionist was polite and multi-lingual. My room was clean.with small but perfectly adequate bathroom with a nice shower and heated towels (no freebie shampoos or lotions). "great value. close transport hbf, tram to airport"
Very nice, straight forward clean functional room. good bathroom. no fridge but chilled the beer bought at supermarket under the cold water tap - 30minuntes - water is icy cold. Receptionists were very friendly. Breakfast was basic fare but satisfactory enough. Location is excellent. Tram (5min walk) to airport close. "Amazing hotel and staff....."
There are two people that made this trip/vacation to Zurich amazing and they are Beatrice and Selina they are the best service desk staff my family and I ever met, we were greeted with a big smile and help us with every questions that we had about the city... "Great for family on a (non-Swiss) budget"
We had a super stay at the Bristol Hotel and would definitely stay here again. Convenient location - easily walkable from the train station and for sight-seeing in the city center, even with our young toddler, the location was great. Affordable price (by Swiss standards) that included a very filling breakfast. And most importantly, the rooms are spotless. […] Yes, the room is simplistic but it's efficiently designed and seriously was one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. We are frequent travelers and would definitely come back. "cheap and cheerful hotel"
The rooms are very basic and small which makes it good value for what you are paying. The bathroom, once again basic but excellent shower, only soap dispenser so bring additiional toiletries. Unless you are going to spend a lot of time in your room this is not the hotel for you. It suited us. "Good hotel, terrible bed"
