Clean and comfortable beds. Great location off of 95. Had non-smoking room but someone either in the next room or in the hall was smoking and totally ruined it for us. Would recommend for good night sleep.

"Baymont in Branford"
The hotel is close to the T/A truck stop. My fiance is a truck driver. He parked his truck at the truck stop, I came from the Boston area to pick him up and we stayed at the Baymont. The hotel was clean. Our room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We will certainly stay here again.
"Clean, comfortable and quiet"
We stayed over on Chrismas Eve. We had comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Our dog came along and the long stretch of road through the industrial park was great for walking her. We would return if the need arises.

Hey, all those people that were writing about it being run-down are crazy. The location was perfect, I got a really good price on it, the guy at the desk when we checked in couldn't possibly have been any nicer. If there were an extra million bucks around, could you fix it up and make it nicer? Sure! But these days, businesses are getting by on what […] they've got, and I think this hotel is doing a great job of it. My room was comfortable, nice beds and pillows, I could control the temperature (it wasn't an all or nothing on the heat), the breakfast was very nice, the pool, though small, was warm and inviting, and perfect for us and our daughter to splash around in for a few minutes before we got ready for bed. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the Baymont. The staff promptly greeted me and signed me in within minutes, The room was clean and very comfortable. It was a good room for the price. I would go back for another stay

I will be fair. Location was adequate. There were different eateries in the area and additionally route 95 & route 1 are close by. The room was clean. The room definitely needed to be updated. Meaning, I noticed sections of the wall paper peeling and stains on the chair and rug. Don't get me wrong, it was NOT a problem for me because the room (overall) […] was clean but others would be turned off by carpet stains. The bathroom was very clean but of course the decor was outdated and the toilet didn't flush the next morning. The bed was comforItable...very comfortable. The noise level from the traffic and inside the hotel was not a problem, however, I did hear someone run up the steps but that was once. I was disappointed in the continental breakfast. I was expecting more. They provided waffles, bagels, cold boiled eggs, and cereal. I guess I was expecting hot eggs but the cold eggs were ok. The staff were friendly. I did notice that many truckers frequent the hotel, but they were not intimidating or inappropriate.So, if you are looking for a one night stay, I would say that the hotel is a convienent place to stay. if you are looking for luxary, you may want to look elsewhere. "Worth the cost"
Excellent price and convenient location. I became sick with strept throat during my visit and was able to go to an Urgent Care Center (Walking distance from the Hotel).
"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly"
First, the negative: the entrance is dirty and ugly. The carpet should be replaced. The hotel looks tired and forlorn. Staff should close the door to the laundry room, which is unsightly. On the positive side, the staff is lovely and helpful, and I was pleased that the barking dogs and the roaming children settled down after 8 pm. "Very nice hotel close to interstate"
The hotel was very nice, good service, friendly staff, clean, very comfortable. Fitness room quite ok. Also a small swimming pool, but we didn't use it. Breakfast was very good and with many choices. Very close to the highway and easy to find.

This hotel was very conveniently located next to the highway, restaurants, and the CT shoreline. The rooms were big with several amenities. Breakfast was good. The rooms however were not cleaned properly...the beds were clean but basic housekeeping needs to be improved.

"Breakfast"
Room for breakfast is too small to seat everyone who came to have. In the buildeing, I smelt smoke in a corridor but room was no problem.

We have stayed in other hotels in this area, and the Baymont is the best.. staff, amenities, best value for the money.
"Scary Sheets"
I had to call the front desk for new sheets because the ones that were on the bed was dirty. I had to change the bed myself because the staff leaves at 4pm. Around 5pm some staff members came by but i had already changed the sheets. I had a non-smoking room, but it smelled like cigarettes. The good thing about the hotel that it was close to my venue. […] I stayed one night and the next morning i asked for clean towels, they told me they were all out towels, or they were in the washer. Everything appeared to be clean and met our needs for the short stay. The room was somewhat smaller then usual and no microwave or fridge, but had internet connection and coffee maker. "Truck Stop"
This hotel was completely disgusting. We pulled up after a 4 hour drive and found a filthy truck stop. There were 3 cars in the parking lot and about 15 semi-trucks. We left immediately and found another nearby (clean!!) hotel to stay at. Other guests at the wedding we attended in the area did the same thing when they saw the Baymont and also chose […] to pay for another room at a different hotel. "Easy stay"
We needed a motel for a wedding in the area. Our rooms were ready early and the staff was courteous. We were disappointed that there was no elevator for the second floor but found the motel fine for an overnight stay. Neighborhood was quiet but a/c was a bit noisy.
