A little out of the way, but worth it for the nice rooms, good price, and comfortable beds. The room had a double pane window, so the room was extremely quite with the window closed even though it is across from a busy street. Would stay there again!

Good to have free wifi (30 min) at lobby. It would be better if free wifi could be provided in room and without time limit. The breakfast buffet provides many choice. I like fresh salad, fruits, and fried egg in particular. Better if a toaster is provided so we can have hot bread. Also, the hotel should keep some UK-Europe adapters. Over all very satisfied.

We were in Firenze for the Pitti Uomo at Fortezza Basso and the hotel was a 10 minute walk. There isn't a lot surrounding though we found a great restaurant - Conte Mascietti - nearby. The rate is a but high. The location is convenient if you come by tram from Train station. The room condition was excellent. The rooms were clean. Complimentary breakfast was provided. The contents of breakfast was not good. They didn't provided even a simple bread toast. Overall I give the rating of 4 out of 5 to this hotel.

When we booked this hotel, we were shown pictures of a new modern looking hotel.. when we checked in, we were put in a room with carpets running across the floor and half of the walls, reminding us of some 18th century room.. We spent two nights at the hotel. The location was great. Away from the tourist mayhem but close enough to walk to the centre. We also found a couple of great restaurants in the neighbourhood. The hotel was very nice and modern. Rooms were nice and spacious. Very nice lobby and bar area. Good breakfast. Very helpful and kind staff. This hotel is a good 15 minute walk from the train station, but the size of room and condition were worth it.

This is a very luxurious hotel, conveniently the tram stop is just across the road which is only a 5 min ride into the Santa Maria Station- with a further 5/10 mins walk into the city centre. Room rate includes breakfast which is well laid out with plenty of choices. Include bacon and eggs. Parking is offered at 23.00 per night in the garage but there […] is actually free public parking across the road ( sat - sun up to 8.30 am on Monday am) which is about 4.00 per hour on the monday morning, check out is at 12 so the costs are minimal. The staff was not rude as some reviews indicated. They were just Italian. So, the maitre'd payed more attention to the Italian-speaking customers at breakfast. But the service was fine. What a gorgeous place! I stayed there on 2 separate weekends while waiting to start 2 different tours. I needed to get to the train station. All you have to do is step outside the hotel, walk to the electric tram,(basically about 1/5 block) get on and get off at the train station. Takes 10 minutes at the most. The hotel even sells the tickets to the […] tram. Also had a problem with a local laundromat where, after I washed my clothes, none of the dryers worked. The people at the front desk got ahold of the maids and they were kind enough to dry my clothing for me. The breakfast buffet was great, one of the few on my trip that actually had eggs included. Their restaurant looked really good, I just did not use it while I was there. The 2nd time that I stayed there, they up-graded me to a suite at no additional charge. Nice hotel but a little bit of a trek (although a nice one along the river) from the main sights of Piazza della Signoria, etc. Don't plan any big dinners here - the 'restaurant' consists of a few tables around the bar in the lobby.

This is a good place to stay if you are on a business trip or you are no frills type of a traveller. The Hotel is sort of easy to find - if one takes note of the landmark tower that is just behind the hotel, Please check the hotel location via Google street view if you plan to walk from the Firenze SMN station. It should take approx 15 min. Note you […] might get lost if you try to walk via the town centre and coming to Firenze for the first time. So please take a print out of the map from google to be on the safer side. Everything was OK except the Breakfast. For people who want to have a Toast Bread - you are in the wrong place. The variety of breads that were offered during my stay was something that we do not eat in U.K - they are more European style breads. What I mean is that we do not get Hovis type brown bread or the Kingsmill type white bread. That was very disappointing as this Hotel is rated highly and it does not seem to provide some basic variety of breads. Also the scrambled egg was not good. No salt. Not well cooked. To add to that there was a waiter hovering around all the time - excessively officious and meddlesome - taking the plate away every 2 mins even if I did not want him to do that. I was embarrassed as he kept on keeping an eye on me whilst eating. Something for the Hotel to ensure that its staff is not overbearing and spoiling the comfort of its customers. Rest was OK. But certainly this is not for someone who is looking for some exotic/special type of experience. This is a plain business trip suitable hotel - not for leisure travellers. (2) nights on business. Front desk tried their best. Parking is restricted to a secured underground facility which was full but the FD made arrangements for remote pick up and return. Only fair breakfast but would cerrtainly recommend the Starhotel Michelangelo.

This is a modern, business type hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much. The facility is very well maintained and the room had all the amenities needed for a comfortable vacation and was spacious by Italian standards. The hotel was nice enough, but was extremely misleading about shuttle services offered and/or no longer offered. We chose this hotel because it offered a free hotel shuttle to the main train terminal, airport and city center. Fri internet forbindelse gælder kun i lobbyen. Tilbragte op til 4 timer i lobbyen hver dag, og forbindelsen skulle genoptages hver halve time med nyt login. SURT SHOW!

Bon hotel moderne, facile d'accès en voiture dans un quartier ou on peut se garer, ce qui n'est pas fréquent à Florence

ホテルのレストランの味がよかった。 受付スタッフの対応がよかった。 中庭の部屋でなく 外向きの部屋を期待していたが残念。 夏時間から冬時間へのシフトのPRにきがつかず 朝食に一時間待ってしまった。残念。

Das Hotel befindet sich weit vom historischen Zentrum, jedoch in der Nähe des Opernhauses.

Valgte dennegang et hotel uden for selve centrum for at få en smule nattero. Dette fine hotel var meget økonomisk, helt moderne og velfungerende. Gåafstand til bykernen. Garage til bilen. Meget fin service og efter italienske forhold fin morgenbuffet. Eneste mangel: En kaffekoger på værelset.

Nous avons bénéficié d'une chambre rénovée, ce qui compense la première impression d'un hôtel de "groupes" et éloigné du centre de Florence. Finalement tout s'est bien passé et la distance correspond à seulement 15 mn de marche. Très supportable.

Semplicemente ottimo. Personale gentile, albergo accogliente e moderno, pulito, colazione ricca ed abbondante. Consiglio vivamente a tutti questo hotel e senza dubbio, in uma prossima occasione, non avro dubbi nel sceglierlo di nuovo.

Nice hotel with a big room and bathroom close the main sites and the Central Station. The breakfast was not very good. In the bathroom there was a blinking bulb that although we asked for it to be fixed remained blinking for the 4 days we were at the hotel.
