The people at the reception desk are not helpful. I wanted to change dollars to euros and the girl who was at the desk told me I have to wait for 40 minutes when nobody was in the lobby except me, I felt like I am being a nuisance to her. The airconditioning is not on, the room is like 90 degrees and I felt suffocated. The housekeeping girl told me […] to open my window, so for the 3 nights that I stayed there my window was open. Excellent service and incredible room for the price. I will stay there from now on.

We chose this hotel on our last night in Madrid mainly for the convenience to the airport. They have a free shuttle service to the airport. Be aware that the shuttle takes you to terminal 4 only so if you are flying out of terminal 1, 2 or 3, you have to take the airport shuttle or taxi to these other terminals. The hotel is not situated in an area […] that is convenient to site seeing but again we had already been in Spain for a week and just wanted the convenience to the airport for our last night there. It is very clean but like most European hotels the rooms are small. I don't really criticize the size of rooms in Europe because all rooms seem to be the same size. I would not recommend this hotel if you are going to be taking a taxi every day into the tourist sites at Madrid since you will be paying a high taxi fare every time. Przeczytaj więcej

If you want to stay near Barajas this Hotel is fine. Get a premium room and you get free internet. The only drawback with this hotel is the reception - it's understaffed and due to the many one night reservations for people getting in and out of Barajas at odd hours, the reception can't handle so many guests with so little staff.

The only complaint that I have is that the following morning there were not enough buses to take us to the airport and we had to wait more than half an hour to get a ride.

When we arrived at the hotel there was a huge line for check-in. We had to wait over 90 minutes to get a room, though we had a prepaid reservation. When flights are cancelled the airlines send everybody to this hotel until it´s full, and the check-in process is very very slow, with only 2 people at the reception desk. This would have been a great hotel for a final night in Madrid because it is very clean, nice rooms, nice bed and close to the airport. But on the down side, it is also the hotel where flight cancellation passengers are sent. When I arrived to book in with my reservation in hand, there was a line of 30 or 40 folks and only one and then two women working […] on the desk. Many other folks were trying to get their attention for other services - like getting a room key that worked, or checking out. It was a disaster. The room itself though very clean was very stuffy and still. I would have left the balcony door open but the room was on the 2nd floor and I was a bit worried about someone breaking in. If you want to stay near the airport this is a nice choice. It would have been better if they had free internet access. One thing that irritated me is that they wont even print travel documents for you.

We stayed at this hotel because we were traveling with a large bicycle case which is impossible to maneuver on public transport. The hotel offered a free shuttle to the airport, and was about 1k from a metro station, about a 20 minute ride to the city center. My daughter, son and I spent 2 nights at this hotel before going off to spend some time with friends who lived outside Madrid. The triple room was fine for the 3 of us. The only not so good thing being that there were no tea/coffee making facilities which was a shame. After travelling much of the day it would have been great to have a cup of tea on […] arrival! The shuttle service from the airport worked well & though we had just missed a bus we didn't have to wait too long for the next one. We had to load our cases into the bus ourselves which wasn't so good. The hotel was quiet & convenient to the airport. We found a little cafe not far away where we had breakfast which was very reasonable & the people were very friendly. We also found 2 or 3 restaurants nearby where we ate in the evening & they were fine too. Great choice for an airport hotel - very clean and plenty of restaurants on the surrounding streets. Proximity to airport is great and the free shuttle is an awesome bonus for Spain.

Was impressed that they dim the lights and full electricity doesn't come on til 8 p.m. to conserve energy...everything was great except the beds are hard as a rock...great location to airport...good shuttle service...nice choice of foods in restaurant...will definately stay here again!

Beds like rocks, carpet dingy and no padding in room. Too expensive. Shuttle service and location was convienent but not worth the price paid of room. Paid quite a bit more for a triple and all that was added was a roll away that had a bad foam mattress. I would look for another hotel if you need to stay close to airport.

Good hotel overall, convenient location to airport. But no free wi-fi. Very annoying. This should be standard by now for all hotels. We paid a couple of euros to use the internet for an hour. But we couldn't even access it through wi-fi. We had to get a cable from downstairs and then return it the next day. Very inconvenient, behind the times, etc.

Good value. Hotel is hard to find if you are driving. Very upset at their charge for a long distance call to the US which turned out to be 15 times what we have been paying around Spain. Ask for telephone rates before using their service.

The service from the Hotel to the airport was real good, fast, and the driver real profesional, and much better (FREE), the Hotel is just 10 minute walking to the Madrid Metro, the only bad is the internet and WI-Fi is no free and very expense, compare to other Hotels in our trip, all have free WIFI

Tryp Alameda Aeropuerto is a good hotel to stay at if one wants a location close to the Barajas Airport. The rooms were comfortable and air conditioned and the bathroom was large when compared to many small European hotel bathrooms. Breakfast buffet was very good. Convenient to the Madrid airport with great shuttle service. Room was beautiful and comfortable. This was a superb hotel for a great price. I would highly recommend it.

This hotel was clean, modern (very proactive green with auto switches and such) sufficient for one night. It suite my need perfect to get to Madrid airport on time. The staff was very unconcerned and rude but I suspect they take that liberty considering their average stay must be no more than 1 or 2 nights. They don't have to try hard and it showed. Finally […] becareful what you order in their restaurant. 2 out of 3 in my party picked up something - most likely their quesadilla - and suffered for three nights with fever, diharreah, and persistent headaches. The wifi was 10 euros a day. Its not wireless it is cable by ethernet. You have to put 5 euros down for the cable. When we checked out we had such a hard time understanding the woman. I understood that they were asking for the whole 10 euros for the internet. I gut upset and talking in spanish but she still didnt understand me. Needless to say it was […] nothing. My spanish wasnt good enough for this woman and she didnt even try to understand it. That is why I think they need to learn just a little bit of english. Rooms, reception and restaurant exceptional, location of hotel hard to find but very convenient to Terminal 1. We drove rental car to Madrid and had very difficult time finding the hotel because Europe does not mark streets as we do in US and the hotel signs are hidden behind trees. Well located, service good, room a great size by European standards king size bed was appreciated. No tea/coffee making facilities. Airport shuttle was excellent. Good choice for an airport stay.

It is a good hotel for a short stay if you have a connecting flight. The only difficulty I had was to call the pick-up shuttle to the airport when I arrived, there are no courtessy phones at the airport.

We chose this airport hotel because it's one of the few in the area that offer 24 hrs free shuttle to the airport and we had a very early flight out. The shuttle comes and goes every 15 min or so. The hotel is excellent. It has very beautiful, spacious rooms. It has a bar and a restaurant. It offers a variety of rooms depending on needs from fitness […] rooms to kids rooms. It offers lots of toiletries in the gorgeous bathrooms (shaving set, toothbrush, etc.), which also has a hair dryer of course and decently sized tub. The room has a minibar and safe, and there's cable internet available for extra cost. In the lobby there's also wi fi availabe for extra cost. The only problem is that at the time we arrived there was only one lady at the reception taking care of checking in customers and attending the phones so the poor lady was going crazy (she still managed to be nice despite having to face the grumpy customers). We had to wait a long time for our turn checking in so I hope the hotel takes note and hires someone else to work in the reception as well. The location is excellent, it's about 400 meters from the Barajas metro station so you can easily get into Madrid and since the hotel is not within the airport the surrounding area has a few restaurants and shops. If you're not arriving through their shuttle service print a google map of the hotel otherwise it's little hard to find since it's not exactly on Avenida Logrono but a little hidden. This hotel is close to the airport with a free shuttle service. We had an early morning flight so for one night it served a purpose. Would recommend for the same situation. The staff were somewhat aloof, and the hotel is listed under a different name at the street entrance, which presented a challenge, but the hotel was good.

An extremely nice hotel with free shuttle service to the airport. The thing I liked best was that the hotel is located in a neighnborhood where there are a variety of dining options outside the hotel.

I stayed there just over night, exactly 10 hrs. the room was nice and clean, bathroom even had a bidet, which is not common for Americans. I had to go down and ask about the light as they have a special system where you have to put your room key in to have light in the room and it turns automatically all lights off when you take the key out. unless you want to pay VERY EXPENSIVE cab drive across the highway and have a angry cabby that waited 3 hours to get a fare from the airport to Madrid that would have been several times more than ten EU he got. This hotel was convenient to the airport for a next day flight. We found the staff helpful and the room very comfortable. We ate the buffet supper rather than trying to find a local resturant. We would recommend this hotel for its location and comfort.

Excellent hotel if you are looking to stay near the Madrid Barajas Airport. The external view of the hotel does not reveal how nice it is inside. No WIFI in rooms - unheard of these days. And the front desk don't tell you correct info. Their misinformation and slow shuttle service made me miss my flight.

We used the Tryp as a one night stop before leaving on a plane at Madrid Airport. Like most Tryp chain hotels, the aeroporto is clean and quiet. We were not bothered by any noise from the airport and the Barajas Metro station was only a few blocks away, so we could slip back into Madrid for some last minute shopping, like that great vacuum packed Jamon […] Iberico Bolotta, before heading out on the plane back to the USA the next day. A good choice if you need to overnight close to the Madrid airport. Room was large and clean, but lacked comfortable pillows. Chairs in the lounge were also uncomfortable. I needed a Hotel close to the airport for an over night stay and I loved the convenience of being so close. The airport provided transportation to and from. The room was clean and comfortable. I recommend the buffet breakfast which was also very good. Very pleased with my stay

Todo muy bien, la habitación y el desayuno sin pegas. El buffet de la cena no vale la pena, pero el resto muy bien.

Nos quedamos en este hotel ya que al día siguiente debíamos tomar un vuelo temprano. El hotel está muy bien, la habitación amplia, cómoda y limpia y con muy buenos servicios.
