We like staying at this hotel. Very conveinent, good rooms, good service. Just a really solid place to stay. Food very close, close to Washington Square, easy freeway access. Just a great place!

Overall, everything was good. Service good, friendly staff. The only complaint we had was the lighting in the restaurant/lounge....it was way too bright. We enjoyed sitting by the fire enjoying some wine; however, the lighting turned it from something a bit more intimate to us wanting to wear sunglasses.

I needed a quick overnight for a weekend in Portland that was close to about five different things. This fit the bill and then some. Comfy, clean, and easy. Daniel at the counter was friendly, efficient, and helpful.

Everything was wonderful--except the train that went by several times all night. It felt like the train was going right through the middle of our room.

The layout of the room was the only negative. No table or light on one side of the bed and the location of the coffee pot was not logical or convient.

This hotel is in an okay location in you are adventuring in Portland as it was an easy commute. The train is very close by so you may have to change rooms if you are in the one section this affects (it was very loud). We met my husband's half sisters that he had never met over the weekend at this hotel. The court yard outside had a nice sitting area and the inside lobby also had excellent visiting areas. We were able to enjoy the areas while we visited. The room was comfortable and clean. We would look forward to staying at this hotel again. it was ok, i just don't understand for the price you pay for a hotel room you still have to pay if you want breakfast in the morning. i think for the price of the rooms you should get a free breakfast.

Whenever I visit Portland, I always stayed at Embassy Suites. This time, Embassy Suites was fully booked so I chose Courtyard Marriot instead. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I knew that my choice of selecting Courtyard Marriot was superb !! Hotel was located nearby every amenities, all staff members were so friendly and professional, room was clean […] and quite, and direct access to parking lot was really convenient. I chose free breakfast to be included in my room rate which was a superb decision. Every fruits were so fresh, all the dishes I've ordered were hot and tasty, Starbucks coffee was great, and yogurts were so yummy. Front desk agents were very efficient and professionally trained. My husband, my daughter and myself all enjoyed staying at Courtyear Marriot. We go back to Portland every year. I will see you guys next year. Thank you very much for your SUPERB service !!! We were placed by the back door and there was door slaming and laughing and yelling until about 2 a.m. It started again about 5:30 a.m. This is NOT a room that should even be rented out ! It was a horrible situation . The noise in the room above us was very loud. Sounded like a giant stomping on the floor well past 10 PM. Also, the refridgerator was very loud and we had to shut it off for the night so we could sleep. We told the desk clerk but she only shrugged her shoulders.

Overall it was a nice place to stay , we decided to use the fold out bed for our 4year old , it looked like it hadnt been properly cleaned before we got in the room. that is the only issue i had during our time there

Great Hotel. The train was just a bit annoying at 10:30pm at night, but really was not a big deal. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The best thing about this hotel is the "Einstein Bros Bagels" place across the rear parking lot. Do yourself a favor and opt-out of Courtyard's breakfast included package and walk over to Einstein's. Marriott decided to change what I considered an average continental breakfast and replaced with this complicated contraption that needs a printed set of […] instructions (see attached pic) handed to you at check-in so you know what you can eat in the morning. I wouldn't have minded too much if the breakfast was half way decent, but it wasn't. It was made up of stale bagels and dry muffins, if you opt for eggs you would get a semi decent set of scrambled eggs (you can't have both the bagel and the eggs). When I complained to the hotel staff, I was told this is the new Courtyard Experience. They decided to upgrade the lobby and the breakfast area that you spend less than 5% of your time in and left the rooms in a state of disrepair. Very disappointed. Przeczytaj więcej

The hotel is in a very nice, secluded area. The room was also nice with a balcony and the bed was comfortable. There was some confusion over whether they charged for breakfast, as on the keycard holder it said it was $5.95, and the expedia website said it was $10 or close to it. No one was asking for money so when I checked out I asked if it cost money […] (after eating 2 breakfasts there) and they said "This weekend was no charge". I thought that could have been made clearer from the beginning. Staff was friendly and helpful. I forgot my deodorant and they gave me a travel size replacement which was appreciated.
