This hotel never disappoints. It's not perfectly convenient to city attractions. You do need to drive into the city, but it is much more affordable than city hotels and service/accomodations are excellent. "Not so nice a stay"
The suite was very nice and clean. The bedroom window faced the Charles, it was a lovely view both day and night, However, we could hear the kids running outside our door when they ran up and down the hallway. The neighbors slammed their door everytime they came in about 5 or 6 times a day (and night). Though we were on the 8th floor we could hear the […] activity below us when there were big groups in resturaunt area. Everything was loud. There was no in-room hotel services guide, had to Google everything. When we approached the front desk to get information on the shuttle the single employee was very rude since she was busy with paperwork, it was quite embarrassing. The lobby was under construction which would have been no big deal except for all the other issues. Based on this visit we won't be staying at a DoubleTree again any time soon. So sorry DoubleTree. The hotel itself is not bad. The room is clean, and staffs are kind and helpful. However, the room is very noisy. You can easily listen to the voices and TV sounds of the next room. "Very nice hotel, close to Cambridge"

"good deal for the price"
The hotel itself was nice and clean, the room could have used some updating, but the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was nice and the shower was good and hot. The only real complaint I had was that our room was right in front of the elevators, and I could hear anyone waiting for them, as well as the people in the room next door, as if they […] were sitting next to me.
