"Nicer Than Expected!"
The hotel was A LOT nice than I expected. The staff was helpful and courteous, and the room was nicely designed. My only "gripe" was the length of the pool. It only went to 4 feet deep and wasn't much in terms of length. Definitely worth the money paid!

"Marriott Courtyard - quality, reasonable and conve"
The Courtyard was close to a variety of stores and services. I was there to move my son into Union College and while it was not the closest location, the hotel was excellent. Close to Albany AP and the area was easily negotiated with a rental car. Hotel personnel were exceptional.
"Albany NY Hotel - Great Price & Amenities"
Nice relaxing area close to Albany NY Airport. Easy access to Highway, Clean room - lots of extras. Loved the refridgerator. Found Many New restaurants close by. Next to Albany College. Can't beat cost.
"Caution: Hotel and Staff Under Construction"
We arrived after a 10 hour trip at our hotel to find the entire first floor under construction. There was a make shift desk to check in. There were hazards everywhere. This was a issue because we had an 80 year old with us who we needed to watch so that she did not fall. Our room that hotel.com said would sleep 5... did not. While we did have a king […] size bed, the pull out couch was a three quarter bed size. We had to book an additional room for our family of 5. When we returned from a wedding that night, the manager had given someone else the key to our room for the night. Luckily, the person who he gave the key to was our nephew! Our nephew had to carry his three boys back downstairs (after a long trip) to explain that there was someone already in the room! At 11:30 pm there was a knock at our door. It was the night manager. He wanted to know who was staying in our room. Apparently, there had been more than one mix up that evening and he did not know who was in which rooms. The signs in the hotel to direct people to get to the breakfast area, the business center etc. were misleading at best.The pool was closed. The people at the desk were pleasant but very confused as to how to hand out keys. It was at best, a mess!!!! Great hotel with comfort and cleanliness top priority. The mattress and comforter were so luscious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the hot tub too!

I was worried about booking a room in "Albany," (postal address) and I didn't really know the location - but the address is deceiving to out-of-towners. The hotel is located directly across from the main enterance to SUNY Albany, and about 100 yards from the highway entrance. It's on "hotel strip" and a very safe bet for your travels in the area - it […] is NOT downtown. Hotel parking lot was well lit, rooms quiet; mine faced the highway - couldn't see it (or hear it)with the trees though - and checkout was fast. Added bonus, Dunkin' Donuts shares the same driveway.
