The front desk was very friendly and accomodating. The mattresses were VERY firm...which was quite uncomfortable. Also, I no longer carry an iron when I travel and this hotel didn't have an iron or ironing board. It would be great if they would add it. It was clean.

Stayed one night, 4 of us. Room was comfortable. More than enough hot water for all of us. Great room for the price. Really good location, near many restaurants and a Walgreen. Best part, Texas shaped waffles in continental breakfast.

"Rodeway for wurst fest 2011"
Very clean and surprisingly quiet. Also, well located. But the hotel is old. Microwave and fridge worjed but were old and they had a surge protector that looked scary.

This was a great location for the event I was attending that weekend. No trouble finding it and the room was quite clean and comfortable. I'll most likely use this hotel again for future reservations.

The motel room was vey clean and was in good shape considering the age of this motel. The continental breakfast did not have enough variety and the ice machines could not keep up with the demand.

"Close to Schlitterbahn"
The hotel was very convinient to Schlitterbahn and it was a little run down. The pool said it opened at 10 but they would not let us in till way after because he was cleaning the pool. The breakfast is just waffles and cereal and toast that is it. But for the price it was great! "Smoking"
I reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights and they smelled like cigarette smoke. I specifically asked for non smoking and the rooms they gave me were non smoking but smelled of smoke. My children have asthma and were sick due to the smell. I had to continue to give them treatments due to the Asthma was triggered by the cigarette smell.

We stayed at the Roadway Inn for one night to ride the river in NB. We had our 8 year old daughter with us. The hotel was okay, nothing too fancy. I will say though at 10 pm, they made everyone leave the pool area and it was quiet the rest of the night. I was concerned because we had a room facing the pool and I thought that we would have some roudy […] kids at the pool that would keep us up but that did not happen. The beds were not all the comfortable and the rate was a little higher than I would have paid for a hotel of that quality but then again, it was the peak of summer and rates do go up during that time of the season. I picked this hotel because it was close to the I 35. This is not even a 1 star hotel. I have stayed in 50 dollar a night that was more appealing. The bed was hard and out of 4 pillows putting them together I was still sleeping on mattress with no pillows. That is how thin they were. The sheets were stained and had knive punctures in them. People were […] standing outside drinking and hollering. I am so disappointed. New Braunsfel is suppose to be a nice area and close to waterpark. "New Braunfels"
I took my bag with me and when i cam back they blocked my key even though the room was paid for two days upfront! The tub leaked when I took a shower. The people that stay weekely had kids running up and down the stairs after midnight. I was not impressed at all.

"okay for price"
the room was clean, even the bathroom...but, some wood roaches came into the room. but, that is expected for this time of year in hot climates...the pool and the hot tub were great...breakfast was ok, but when the eggs and buscuits ran out, they did notmake any more. but, mcdonalds i s right next door.
it was all right for the purpose that we were there for.

This hotel served it's purpose for my family on a budget! It is older but not to bad for the price. They do not have the game room listed in the ameneties. The texas shaped waffels were cool.
It smelled like smoke even though we reserved non-smoking. The pillows were flat as pancakes. I guess you get what you pay for.

I am very impressed about the hotel service, the reception, check in, and check out it was very diligent and friendly. The staff was very knowledge about the hotel instalations. My family was so happy with the continental breakfast, it stayed open until 10:00 a.m. We already had a good time there.

Decent hotel for the price. Nothing fancy. Has that traditional roadside hotel smell. Nice pool. Beds need new mattresses!!

I had a horrible experience, No parking near my room, beds were uncomfortable, carpet stained my socks as I walked to and from the bathroom twice, old looking towels, no hairdryer, TV reception was not good, ice machine right in front of my room that woke me up several times at night, washer and dryer close by making noise in the middle of the night. The room was right on the end of the corridor which was right next to a VERY busy Interstate. We were unable to sleep due the very loud noise. Tried to change rooms, but was unable to.

Near Schlitterbaun water park - Not a 5 star, but ok for just sleeping. Nothing special, small, not luxurious, but clean. Can't beat the price.

I knew it wasn't going to be the Four Seasons. But wow, this Rodeway Inn didn't look anything like the pictures on Hotel.com. When we arrived it was after midnight, the cops were there, and there were kids and people hanging out in the parking lot. The beds were horrible, the pillows flat. No alarm clock. Now I must say the staff was nice. We only dealt […] with two desk people and a maid. But the accomadations were less than desirable. It was a good choice for a family of 5 plus 2 friends. All the kids are teenagers now so we all agreed it was not a bad hotel (better then camping). The kids loved the breakfast of Texas shaped waffle. So everyone filled up on breakfast to get us through to a late lunch early dinner. It was close to Schlitterbahn and San Marcos.

This hotel was horrible. The mattresses were so thin I'm a 120 girl and it sank to the bottom and I could feel all the springs. The beds weren't properly made and there was trash in our sheets. They didn't have any blow dryers or ice buckets. The TV didn't even work. I was just glad we only booked one night for our day in Schlitterbahn. I probably could […] have stayed at a Motel 6 which is way cheaper, and it would have been better than this piece of junk. you definately get what you pay for... the bed was very uncomfortable and there were people talking outside our room all night as well as someone knocking on the door. Doubt we would stay here again... :(
