There was a heavy perfume smell in the room and apparently mildew. I could not get a good nights sleep since I am sensitive to mildew.

We love staying at this Radisson, the breakfast is always wonderful. Quincy let us look at the model room for renovation. We loved it. The room we stayed in this time had a flat screen tv which is a plus. Just to let you know Quincy is a wonderful and friendly employee. Could use a lot more people in the world like this young man.

I booked the two queen size beds for the weekend. I was informed that they were out of the double beds they refused to composite the difference. My husband and I slept on a pull out bed, only to get up the next morning sore and tired. I wouldn't recommendthis hotel for dogs.

I was given a room adjacent to an area that was undergoing renovation. The room was musty and smelled of mold. I asked for a change of rooms. This never should have happened since there were numerous empty rooms in the wing of the hotel that I was assigned to. Hotel is in the middle of a renovation. Room smelled musty but staff was very helpful and polite. I would stay in hotel again just because of the staff

I could hear the person in the room above mine walking around. Never experienced that in a hotel of this caliber. Otherwise, nice, clean, good food, reasonable prices. Overall, good hotel.

Very Clean hotel, friendly staff. Hotel does need updating. You can hear every noise in the hallway. So if you are light sleeper don't suggest this hotel. The rooms with the Sofa sleeper have to table to work off of. If just one person is on the room trying to work no problem but if your spouse needs to work as well I don't suggest this hotel. The Hotel and grounds was very beautiful, but it had a smell in the hallways, the bed was very hard and it was mildew on the bathroom ceiling.

I requested a refrig and microwave during reservation, It was not available when I arrived. My first room smelled bad, like the ac unit had never been cleaned. The bed linen was not changed, it had curly hair and small twigs in it. I had checked in only 5 minutes before finding these and the staff did not remember me. They have a policy of changing […] bed linens whenever you put a card (they provide) on the bed. Not true, I know this because I mark the sheets. Only after I requested at the front desk were they changed. The free breakfast was the same everyday, watery eggs and cold bacon. At happy hour, the beer was room temperature, something about a cooler was not working. This is not the place to stay. This hotel was clean, comfortable, and very conveniently located to go to UAHuntsville just 10 minutes down the highway. Breakfast was included, making it a good value for the money. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Huntsville.

The hotel personnel Max was very professional and made every effort to assist me and my family as we stumbled in in the early morning. Hotel.com made a mistake with our reservation after we had left two other hotels. One hotel was not to our liking and they transferred us to three rooms. With a beautifully landscaped courtyard in the center of it, you can sit at this hotel that is only minutes from the airport and never know it. The only drawback was the lack of chairs on the balconies?!?

We found the Radisson Hotel Airport in Madison, Al to be a good value for the money. Check in was a breeze and we were treated well by the staff. We only had one instance in which our maid spoke little or no English and could not communicate with us. We were there for three days and we chose to swap out bathroom linens instead of a daily cleaning. On […] day two we were told that there were no washcloths available and therefore, we had to reuse the ones we had. I was a little disappointed that the pool was dark (lighting was out) and that it was not cleaned daily. There were leaves and some garbage items floating in it for two days. Other guests as well as ourselves found no skimming net available at the pool to clean it ourselves. Also we were directed to get pool towels in the fitness room but over two days there were none there. No trash receptacles in the center courtyard resulted in can, bottles, cups and even a plate of pizza left on the tables. Well, they allowed us to check in early; however, we went through three rooms before they found one with a refrigerator. For some reason, they had no clue which rooms had refridgerators. The bathroom had hairs all over it, and the floors/carpeting was not clean. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked fine. The day I went to the pool, […] I had to clean myself; however, after several attempts at removing leaves, I found garbage (plastic wrappers). Also, I discovered mold/fungus on the sides of the pool. Decided not to get in. The hotel infrastructure seemed to have potential, but the maintenance and service people clearly were not motivated to do a good job with upkeep of the hotel. I stayed here with my husband and two young daughters while visiting family in the area. We picked the hotel because of the proximity to our family's house and the value. Pros: Good value, decently clean rooms, breakfast buffet included. Cons: Noise level (paper thin walls and unsupervised teenagers in the hallways), pool area was not very clean (leaves […] and debris in pool), hotel did not provide enough towels to our room on two nights of our four night stay. Called Hotels.com for a last minute check-in rate. Got a great deal and was VERY pleased with the Radisson. Friendly staff and good breakfast in a lot nicer hotel than I would have expected for the price. Would definitely recommend.

The hot water no longer functioned properly after the first night. Also, the room had a slight odor. Seemed like it may have been the result of carpeting in the room being improperly cleaned. This was a great hotel to stay at. It was very conventant to all locations. We were able to get downtown easily plus visit all the major sites in huntsville within minutes. My husband and mines only complaint was the lack of hot water in the early mornings and lack of available fridgesand microwaves available. Other then that we recommand this hotel […] 100%. This hotel was not worth the price for cleanliness and quality of service. I had to search for the cleaning staff during normal hours and request some toilet paper. The breakfast was included in the price but was NOT worth the time or effort. There was an oder that emanated from the bathroom, not sewage more like rubber or something, which required […] the door to remain shut unless in use. Clean, quiet, conveniently located. Other than a slow drain in the bathtub, our two night stay was very nice. Well done Radisson team!

The room was nice and clean, but came with some ups and downs. The ups was the cleanliness of the room and the fold out sofa bed for extra company was a plus. Upon arriving, the front desk ha my reservation as a smoking room with 2 double beds. I told Quincy, the front desk clerk, that I requested a King smoking room, and they immediatly changed it. I also asked for more towels, and before we got our luggage unloaded and in the room, the towels were there! There room was VERY clean. When I go into a room, […] I check the sheets and blankets, pull out drawers looking for bugs, and search the bathroom... THIS ROOM WAS SPOTLESS! It was supposed to have a fridge and a microwave, and it didn't, but the HOT BREAKFAST BUFFET made up for that. Bacon was perfect, scrambles eggs, peper gravy and biscuits and grits. They also had OJ, cranberry and grapefruit juice, as well as coffee, water, milk cereal, fruit, cottage cheese, salsa and cheese and then the continental breakfast stuff. This hotel needs an interior renovation badly. Room wasn't that clean. sheets weren't fresh. Breakfast was ok. I would stay there again in a pinch or for a low low rate.

I was thrilled to see the whirlpool suite was so cheap on Hotels.com so I booked it, looking forward to relaxing in the whirlpool after an 8 hour drive. When I arrived I was told there were no more whirlpool suites left, even though that's what I paid for, I had to settle for a regular room. We found hair by the bathroom sink. Carpet was dirty and the famous sleep number beds were less than desirable. The desk clerk was not the friendliest person I have dealt with….. Will not stay here again, Over Priced for what you get.

A little old, but wonderful.

Room #138 had atrocious musty smell. Carpeting felt sticky to walk on. And there was black mold in the shower. I have stayed here before and it was better in the past. I chose this for price and proximity to NASA.

Good location, clean, cheap. Bar and restaurant in hotel. Good stay!

We were in Huntsville for one evening, and this hotel was wonderful. The room was clean and nice, although it did have a bit of a strange odor. The Breakfast was great. The grounds were very beautiful and well maintained.

Sleep Number bed was disfunctional and the sheets smelled of some odd scent. We were only there for one night and would not have stayed for another. The staff was very friendly;

I can't say enough about this hotel. Very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, and it was a very very comfortable room. I love the Sleep Number Bed. I am going to buy me one after that stay. I've stayed in many nice hotels as a sales rep, but his is on the top 5 of my list. Combined with the very affordable price and convenient location, I would highly […] recommend this hotel to anybody. My only complaint was the cleaning lady, the morning of checking out (which is at 12 pm, later than most places), she knocked on my door two different occasions and I told her I was getting ready to come back after 12. 30 minutes later, she gave a light knock, and came on in to the room. I'll start with the only negative, the lack of an elevator. I have a bad knee. Stairs are not impossible, but I avoid them when possible. Carrying luggage upstairs, tho, is a real challange. My husband also has knee problems, so if I had known this hotel did not have an elevator, I would have requested a ground floor room or would have chosen a different […] hotel. In their defense, the website did say this was not an "accessible" hotel, but I assumed that meant the shower was not "roll-in" and the toilet was not ADA approved. I would have appreciated the website saying straight out there was no elevator. Other than that, everything was as good or better than expected. The room was very clean. The king-size bed was a Sleep Number bed, which we also have at home. There was a separate sitting room, which I didn't expect, with a microwave and small refrigerator, a second TV, and a balcony. The couch was a sleeper sofa. We were very pleased with the room, once we managed to get our luggage upstairs. We received breakfast buffet coupons and we were very pleased with breakfast. There was a steam table offering scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, and sausage links, biscuits and gravy, fruit, bagels, cereal, juice, coffees, etc The desk clerk told us they would be doing a complete remodel and upgrade soon, and that elevators would be installed. Excellent Hotel, close to the airport, clean and as a single female I felt safe.

Very nice & clean. We had problems with the shower.
