Radisson Indianapolis Airport - Indianapolis

We flew in late so the location was convenient to the airport. However, the hotel was rather outdated, the elevator was questionnable, we were in the direct path of the airplanes so it was noisy and the hotel advertised sleep number beds, but ours did not function properly. We left a Kindle in our room. We called immediately (the same day we left) and reported that we left a Kindle. I was told housekeeping would get to me and let me know if they found the Kindle. - the front desk was unable to help me. No one called me back. I have called FOUR times and each time I've been told only housekeeping can help me and they are […] unavailable. Each time I have been told someone would call me back. Very old out dated hotel. Pictures look much better than real thing. Room was clean and ok to stay for one night. Close to airport (which is why we stayed) Would try to find some other hotel if I had a flight out of Indy again.

My stay was nice, only thing bad was there wasn' t a refrigerator in the room nor one even available to borrow for the stay. So couldn't bring any food to room for night snack.

Stayed at this hotel prior to an early am flight. We had specified sleep number beds on our reservation but did not receive them until we asked and had to be switched to another room. When we did get to the new room only one of the sleep number beds worked. Maintenance was called but was unable to repair it. Disappointing-Front desk did apologize. Overall […] a good stay. The staff was very friendly, but the hotel was really run down. Hallways and elevators were dark, noisey, and a bit creepy. We requested a sleep number bed because we wanted to try one. It was horrible. It was loud and uncomfortable; very much like the cheep air matresses we use camping. I would recommend asking for a regular bed. Reservation was for a smoking room, upon arrival, told entire hotel was nonsmoking, should not provide option if not available. Room was as far from desk as possible, room key card didn't work, had to walk back to desk to get it recoded, then back to room again to get in -- not happy about that.

If you are looking for luxury...this is NOT the hotel. Location was great for where we were going. Hotel was clean, but not great. Rooms smelt a little musty, probably due to NO fan in the bathrooms. Looks like they are attempting to do a make-over in the hotel, but only a cover-up is occuring. Throwing on some new paint over old walls. Beds were fair; […] sleep number controls/bed never worked for either bed. Coffee machine in room did not have the basket to put the coffee into. We would never pay full price for this hotel. The hotel staff are outstanding. All staff were polite, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Unfortunately, the hotel could use some upgrades. My phone and alarm clock in my room did not work. The room type I requested was unavailable. The room was comfortable and clean but it must be hard to keep such old facilities looking so good. This would […] be a 5 star hotel with some minor upgrades. The staff really soar in terms of their courtesy and efficiency. Management just needs to give them a better facility to showcase. With the re-location of the Indianapolis Ariport, this fine hotel finds intself off the beaten path and somewhat isolated. They have obviously decided to make their hotel such a pleasant experience that all that leaves your mind. Everyone was exceptionally helpful and cheerful with every interaction. I found it hard to get to from Illinois. Maybe it was because of construction

The convenience was good but this property is not worthy of the Radisson brand. It was not good. Their ink was out to print boarding passes; they allowed me to go behind their front desk area and it was in horrible shape. The bar was out of numerous beer and alcohol brands awaiting a delivery etc. I also hung my breakfast order on my door to be delivered […] between 7:00 & 7:30 AM; finally at 7:30 I opened my door and they hadn't even taken the door hanger with my order. I booked this hotel for an employee. Upon his return he told me about an incident that happened at this hotel. When he arrived he noticed a man sitting in the main area as if he were waiting for someone. When the employee got on the elevator, suddenly the man ran for the elevator and joined him. Our employee asked what floor the man wanted and he said […] he was going to the second floor (same floor the employee had pushed the button for). Our employee got a weird feeling so when he got off the elevator he went the opposite way of his room. The man followed. Then our employee said "oops wrong way" and turned around to go down the hall toward his room. Our employee went to his room and watched as the man went down the hall and out the emergency exit at the other end of the hall. This is a VERY scary situation had our employee not noticed the strange behaviour of this man that clearly was looking to mug someone in their room. I will never book another employee at this hotel. It was not clean and this whole situation has me nervous especially if our employee were female and not noticed the strange behaviour of this man. Przeczytaj więcej

Rooms had been redone recently but bathrooms felt old and dirty. Common areas were dated and not the cleanest.

Awesome stay; comfortable rooms. Service great at restaurant and lounge areas. Plenty of places in surrounding area for touring.

Bearings going out of elevator,noise was loud enough to hear 50 ft away.When the elevator stopped it wasn't level to the floor, you had to step up to the floor. Sign at elevator said "Do Not Use In Case of Fire"use stairway. No signs showing where stairway was. Food left on room service tray(from breakfast) in hallway until after 1:00PM. We returned […] to our room after 1:00PM to rest for the late evening,our bed was never made, and a note was left on the desk stating if we needed extra towels to go to the front desk to receive them. Wallpaper was coming off the wall in the hall way.The electrical plug in the bathroom for hair dryer was bogus, it had to be wiggled just right to work(?) Sleep number bed control didn't show what number you were sleeping on, not comfortable. For being an Executive Room we were let down, No refrigerator, No microwave,No Continental Breakfast,we went for coffee in the restaurant and paid 13.00 for two cups coffee a 2 inch muffin and 1/2 X 3 inch cinnamon roll.The ice machine on our floor was broke, and an empty glass sat near it on the floor for almost 24 hours. Someone is not doing their job. We won't be returning to this place, another couple we met mentioned the carpet in their room was coming up off the floor, they were afraid to sleep on the beds, and brought their own blankets. Nothing special about the hotel and the only real issue was the sleep number bed that didn't work or at least I could not get it working. The hotel is old and is showing it's age. The staff in general was great. Had two meals and both were priced reasonable and tasted fine. I would use the hotel again.

There no fan in the bathroom and there are no water pressure to the shower. Small bathroom and shower.

On our recent visit there, the ice machines didn't work, the bathroom was in disrepair, the staff was less than courteous. Our overall impression is that we will never stay at this or any other Raddison Hotel again.

From the quick check-in and the nice staff, my stay was awesome. The shuttle bus driver even agreed to take us to the Lucas Stadium without a reservation. I would definitely stay there again........

The hotel was nice overall. The reception staff was extremely helpful. The bar closed 2 hours early Saturday night for no apparent reason. The waitress was quite curt when we asked her about that. Waited at the restaurant Sunday morning for several minutes, but never saw any wait staff. Felt sorry for those patrons already seated. Nice stay for the price and location

No frills here. Aging hotel needs some work. Since they moved the airport my guess is this one won't change for a while.

The hotel is old and pretty run down. My room was fairly clean, but a friend said he had stained towels provided in his room. Beds were supposed to be "sleep number" beds, but mine either was not, or the remote control was missing; i looked everywhere and couldn't find it. I could never get the internet service to work properly in my room either. And […] the location is weird, on the property of the hold airport, but it kinda just looks like it's in this abandoned no-man's land now. There is also some noise from planes flying over, but I guess that's to be expected in an airport hotel. Tons of roadwork in the area made it difficult to get to from some directions, as well. On the plus side, the staff were all very nice and friendly. So, there's nothing really bad about this place, but nothing really good either, and enough little issues that I probably would not choose to stay here again. Przeczytaj więcej

We arrived around 10pm. When I requested a cart, to transport our luggage, I was told "We have some, but they are in use". The room had apparently been somewhat updated. We were on the ground floor, a location I found less than desirable.We had been upgraded to a suite, that had 2 seperate rooms, so space was not an issue.The sleep number bed was comfortable. […] The toilet ran intermittantly all night, kept the bath door closed, which muffled the sound. No complimentery water in the room(as listed), paid $2. a bottle for water from a vending machine. We checked out around 7am, so we had a short stay. I was surprised to find an additional $20. charge on my credit card, when I arrived home. I had paid in full, before my arrival. I called and was told, the hotel puts a $20. incidentals charge on you card, that can take up to 4 days to be refunded. This should have been explained by the personnel at the desk, upon my arrival. I expected more out of the Radission. If you're just looking for somewhere to sleep then it's fine. But the location is poor. There are no resaturants in the area to enjoy a nice dinner. Although the room was large, that's all it was - a large room. Next time I travel the Radission will not be one of the top options.

Hotel was hard to get to with the construction. Room was clean but the light by the desk didn't work, the handle on the hot of the sink fell off, & there was a power strip with so much plugged in, it kept shorting out so the light by the bed didnt work, or the alarm clock or the temper pedic bed I was so anxious to try. The spacious room was very accommodating for my family and I. The sleep number bed provided a comfortable peaceful rest. Enjoyed our stay

For what I needed, the Radisson was perfect. My only complaint was that my wakeup call was fifteen minutes late which made it very hard to make the shuttle to the airport.

Staff wasn't friendly. Number beds were terrible.. when asked for more soap and shampoo they brought one.. it was clean. Although they were doing construction it was in great location off expressway.
