ok this review was for fiesta 2012 / its a ok ok please... to start off when we arrived the staff seem very pleasant and laid back . the lobby was ok, a bit old looking could use a face lift. so when i went to check in the lady at the desk said well unfourtunatly we no longer have any rooms with 2 queen beds avlb (which is what they advertised and what […] i reserved over 3 months before the trip) she said we can try to find a room and give u roll aways ... my mouth just fell.. i couldnt belive they were going to drop me down to a single room and give us roll away beds. at this poin i was a bit agitated so i told her is this really the best she could do for me .. and turnd on the charm and she fell for it. she ened up give me and my friends a king room with a king pull out sofa bed. and they only things a bit annoying is they want you be become a member i did it just to get the free fridge in the room for all our alcoholic beverages. so to the point . hotel is ok old and just old .. the walk to get any were was 6 to 8 min.. and when your drinking that means your buzz goes way.. the rate was good we asked for towels great service they came to the room in about 3 min . overall it was a good stay even with the room situation .they dont really reserve the room.. The price of the hotel room was worth not having to drive to the downtown attractions. Although the price of the parking by far offset the convenience. The valet parking was full the entire weekend we stayed there. Had to park in the self parking, not bad, until checkout time. We had no problems or complaints about our stay. The service was great. No surprise charges.

Beautiful hotel, it was a 5 min walk to riverwalk attractions just make sure you know which direction to walk towards . The only negative is the Internet was not free unless you join there rewards club . Spacious room I would stay here again

My room was small and over priced. I will stay in a different hotel next time. The staff was very friendly. Should have complimentary breakfast.

And the Crowne Plaza didn't help. Since United gave away our seats at DIA to fly into San Antonio, we had to fly into Ft. Worth. I called the hotel to let them know we weren't going to be able check in until 1 am since we now had to drive from ft worth into san antonio and they said they can only hold the room until midnight. They ended up holding the […] room until 1 but how dare they even THINK about not after what we'd been through. AND after I explained our dilema, they kept me on hold forever to find out if the room can be held. I hung up and had to go through hotel.com to get in touch with the crowne. The only thing I would say is have better communication with the river walk taxis . To know thier time or get your own taxis.

The air conditioner wasn't cooling enough was a little warm other then that everything was great

Horrible queen beds very uncomfortable

We had a very nice stay in the hotel. The hotel was near the Riverwalk, Starbucks, Alamo, Houston Street, Marketplace, and Mi Tierra Cafe. No refrigerator or microwave. iPhone friendly (4 bars). Be warned, parking is $23+ per day. Probably the same at all the area hotels. If I did not have a car, I would stay here again.

I believe i paid a very reasonable price for a room for four people. It is very convenient to the areas we wanted to visit compared to just looking at the mapping on the web. It was a real relief. Check in and check out was fast enough. They supplied roll-away bed and crib for us very quick. Room was very clean. The lobby was noisy and most of the time full of people. Buffet breakfast was reasonable. The room price was fare for the quality we got.

the sauna was not working :( that one of the reasons why we stayed at this hotel// did not know it was under remodeling. i was taking a shower and then the water was cut off. no notice was given took a long time to take a shower!!!!!!!!!

It is technically on the riverwalk but it is about as far away from anything as you can get. Even still, the hotel was nice & clean. There was a bit of maintenance taking place in the lobby that was distracting but took nothing away from the stay. We just stayed for 3 days and enjoy the proximity to all the attractions downtown San Antonio has to offer. Hotel provides a nice atmosphere and good food. Happy with the service and staff!!!! Although they made a mistake running our cc, they promptly fixed it and were willing to keep track until it was over. Thanks.

We stayed there during our daughters Air Force graduation, we were never informed that there was a parking charge of $24.00 a day which was extremely disssappointing. The hotel was being renovated and was pretty chaotic. The saving grace was the bar there. The bartenders were great. One word: value. For the price, you won't find a cleaner, nicer, more conveniently located place to stay. It was about 4 blocks from all the fun places on the Riverwalk.

Stayed here for the weekend. It was easy to find and just a short walk from the main restaurants on the River Walk. The concierge upgraded me to a preferred customer for free and saved me $30 on parking. Breakfast was awesome before starting the day off, and is located right beside the elevator for easy access. I booked this Hotel for a King size bed and was given a room with a murphy bed and told they had no king size available and also told that it was what I reserved. They said to try and switch to a new room in the morning after someone checked out not happy with the customer service.

I love this hotel. Always stay there when I travel. The view is great, the location is perfect, the price is unbeatable, valet is fast, breakfast buffet is fantastic......what more can I say. I will be there again next Tuesday for 3 nights, can't wait!

WE STAYED HERE ON FEB. 20 FOR 2 NIGHTS AND REALLY LOVED IT THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. STAFF WAS EXCELLENT VERY WELL BEHAVED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYBODY. THE VIEW WAS NICE THEY HAD US FOR THE 9TH FLOOR BUT I REQUESTED FOR THE A HIGHER FLOOR AND THE FRONT DESK LADY THAT WAS HELPING US WAS VERY HELPFUL ON CHANGING US OUT TO THE 16TH FLOOR. […] I WAS VERY PLEASED FOR THE PRICE WE PAID. The hotel was nice the staff was nice. The breakfast at the hotel was one of the best meals we had. Now with all that said they stuck an extra $100 of charges on my credit card for wireless internet and parking. I was told internet was free and you could come and go from parking as much as you wanted with no extra charge. Very pleaseant and comfortable--loved that it was right on the riverwalk--

friendly staff,rooms are nice,comfortable stay.On river walk,wife and me rode the trolly any where downtown for four bucks a day each was fun to ride to market square,alamo ,main part of river walk.Had a great stay would suggest to anyone,was fun!

My son & I arrived and due to back pain from muscle cramp, I could barely walk. The hotel made our visit a success with providing the use of a wheelchair during our stay. We will always be grateful.

I had been drinking along riverwalk on my last nights' stay and came back into the hotel for a nightcap before retiring to my room. I was refused service because the waitress thought I was drunk. I simply told her that I was a guest in the hotel and was goinhg up to my room as soon as I had my last drink but she refused to serve me another drink. Nice hotel a short walk from the Riverwalk. However, the beds had us waking in pain. Further the sheets were sub hotel expectation in thread count - just course and not very comfy. Also, parking was off site and expensive, as was wifi.

i like it very much. The hotel is nice and i enjoy the stay. Hope to do it again soon...

Hotel is at the end of River Walk, and of the City. Hotel personnel and services were excelent. Needs some maintenance in the room. Room close to the elevator has some noice. General terms was fine and price was very good.

This hotel is on the Riverwalk, but the clubs and restaurants are a short walk away. The Alamo Bowl and the Hemisfair area as well were within walking distance. You get a little better rate here is you're willing to and confortable with walking. Generally the weather is comfortable for a nice walk to be quite pleasant. The only complaint I had with […] service is that when they called me a taxi and told me to wait for it in the lobby, they got busy and the taxi was sent away without them looking for me, almost causing me to miss my flight. IT IS TRUE HOTEL IS LOCATED ON RIVERWALK BUT MISLEADING ADVERTISING.SIMPLY BECAUSE THE HOTEL IS ON THE QUITE,DARK AND FAR END OF RIVERWALK.FAR AWAY FROM MALL AND BOAT RIDING PLACE.TOO DANGEROUS AND RISKY AREA OF RIVERWALK TO WALK OR TO REACH AT MALL OR OTHER LOCATIONS.ALSO FREE PARKING IS INCONVENIENT.

This was by far the best hotel stay we have ever experienced! The staff was so incredibly friendly! The room service was fantastic, fresh, and fairly priced!
